    Chicken Quesadilla

I will not be deterred from visiting the highly recommended Fredibertos again; however, as a first-time-customer , I decided to try the Chicken Quesadilla. I have to unfortunately review it as underwhelming so my next selection from the menu will be something different. The chicken was way-too familiar tasting to a grocery-stored purchased Rotisserie that you find under a warmer. I was less than impressed with the chicken. The accompanying pico de gallo was out-of-this-world as was the vinaigrette-style dressing provided with our order.

Supposedly grilled chicken. Supposedly grilled chicken.

First time and pretty disappointed. Once the ladies in front of me finally got done with their 100 questions back and forth with the employee in front of the building, I ordered. The girl was nice and pleasant and answered a few questions I had. I'm always excited opening up a takeout container, especially from a new place for the first time. You never know how the food is going to be presented. Well I was underwhelmed opening up the styrofoam container. The dish looked like dog food and cheese on chips. The tastes was just ok. Not bad, not great. But not pleasing to the eye at all. I ordered grilled chicken nachos. "Grilled" chicken! You expect chunks of chicken with grill marks. This was ground chicken!! I expect to see colors with nachos! White...sour cream! I guess there was a bit underneath but not very noticeable! Red...(salsa,) tomatoes, onions, cilantro! There was ZERO pico de gallo!! Green...some chopped green onions! Green...guacamole! Menu said it came with it. There was ZERO guacamole!! Just a hint of refried beans. An extremely flat presentation of nachos! I don't know if these places just do a bate and switch or what. Tell you one thing on the menu but serve you something entirely different. The pic on the left that someone else posted as nachos purchased here vs. what I got on the right! Looks very different even if it was steak vs chicken! The dish at $15.20 is easily a good $2 bucks over priced in my opinion especially with all the missing toppings/ingredients I listed above! I started to get nachos at a different restaurant in Lakewood for $11 and I kinda wish I had. The taste wasn't bad but I miss my noticeable big dollop of sr cream, guacamole, salsa, green onions, maybe some black olives and shredded lettuce would be nice too! Especially for the price point for the area. This place is in my area and I may give it one more try. But next time I will be opening up my container before I leave and will have some questions if the dish isn't delivering what's on the menu! Having Mexican in the area is a nice change but only if done right. Service was fairly quick. Order to pick up was about 8 minutes.

I have been waiting for a taco shop like this to come to Cleveland since I moved from Las Vegas 10 years ago. 100% legit amazing food. Breakfast burritos are on point! Rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese are amazing and the chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans were great too! Hope these guys do great business! The person that helped us was super friendly too.

The avocado tacos were fine. The avocado was ripe and creamy. The salsa added a tangy flavor. The place was quiet and comfortable.

We discovered Amigos a couple years ago, when seating was very limited, but they recently expanded and the decor is more inviting and authentic. We've tried a lot of things on this menu and have never been disappointed. Our food has always been fresh and plentiful, served with a smile. Two things I can ecstatically recommend: their house guacamole and their margaritas. Their hearty and bold guacamole is made fresh to order right at your table and it's become our favorite guacamole. We love their mango margaritas. We have found chunks of mango in ours, and make certain to always get the rims coated with tajin because they use tamarind to get the spice to stick to the rim--so tasty! This is a really enjoyable restaurant we always look forward to visiting!

The chicken tacito appetizer was just okay, but they will make fresh made guac at your table while you watch. That quac was superb. We made it disappear quickly with nachos. The barria tacos were excellent and the sauce they make for them is delectable. The cole slaw was different and delicious. Wasn't expecting that. The torta was superb. Great food, great service. We'll be back!

The ambiance was relaxing and we got the nice cozy booth at end of the bar ordered the Taco's with a side of rice and beans and a few margaritas. The food was delicious and we had a damn good time, but what really impressed us was the incredible service. Our server Dan was literally amazing, highly attentive and made us feel at home. I don't think I have ever had better service in my life. After that experience we said we had to come back again. So, we did. We came back to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday on a Friday. To our surprise the place was packed and busy. Since they don't do reservations we knew for sure we wouldn't get our cozy booth and the service would be no where near as good as it was last time. I was pleasantly surprised. As we enter the packed restaurant, a man came up to us with such a positive and friendly attitude and told us about the wait time and that he would add us to the list. While we waited we ordered margaritas and talked further with the man. This man turned out to be the Owner of Momocho, Eric. This guy is one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet. He gave us a few of his delicious recipes he created, told us about his restaurant, and remarked on how great his incredible staff is, especially Dan. After the wait, Eric escorted us to the top floor, and to our surprise he put us at the "Chef's table". We had front row seats to watching the Amazing Chef's cook. Chef Manny was fantastic, watching him work, talking with him, and answering our questions about the different dishes made are experience that much more enjoyable. He took our orders: "Little Tacos" we got the Pollo, Machaca, Side of rice, Barbacoa with a fried egg and a flight of Margaritas. Everything was insanely good. The Margaritas are very tasty definitely recommend. At the end of our meal Dan personally delivered my girlfriend one of their delicious "Chocobomba" desserts with a candle in it, and Sang happy birthday with me. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it. I want to sincerely thank Eric, Dan, and Manny for the incredible experience, and for making my girl friend's birthday a memorable and special one. Also wanted to toss in here that it was fantastic seeing one of my favorite servers from the now closed restaurant "Xinji" working on the Momocho team. Shout out to Jack.

It was very busy and we were told there is a 30 minute wait. Not much else in the area so we hung out by the bar and got seated sooner than expected. The first floor is more casual with bar seating and high top tables. The second floor is more formal dining tables. You'll need to climb stairs (did not see an elevator). I was a bit skeptical if we'd have enough options as vegetarians, but was pleasantly surprised at how full we got from all the items we ordered! The guacamole trio, flautas, remolacha, salsa and chips, and drinks. We were there to celebrate a birthday and I asked staff (maybe a manager) if they do anything to celebrate. He mentioned they have a fried ice cream and can put a candle in it. I hadn't confirmed what dessert we planned to order, but before I knew it they came around with the fried ice cream and candle. So, we got to try that. Overall, good food.
