Great location and setting... however, not such that it justifies the pricing and poor customer service. There are several other French cafe's in the vicinity. We were at Versailles yesterday and our group of six left very satisfied with the food, the service, and the value. Consistent quality with a short wait is a winning combination. My one issue is that they don't do iced coffees well (ice melts and it's watered down coffee) but their hot coffees are delicious though. I like their quiches, crepes and sandwiches. Outdoor seating (most of it is shaded) is ideal for bringing your dog. Street parking is available. read more

Went in to order and immediately left after asking the young girl a few questions about what was the flavor in some of the pastries. THE WORST ATTITUDE, NO EYE CONTACT, BEYOND RUDE!! She was so irritated that I asked her about the pastries and was huffing and puffing. She should not be working Customer Service. My mother and I left immediately without ordering, we are locals in the area and used to love this place but paying the insane prices to be treated so disrespectfully is a NO for me. Will NOT be coming back and I will tell others not too as well. The owner needs to do a serious look at their employees because they are ruining their business. Very, very disappointing. First clue should have been that nobody in that place understands a word of French. But I digress. Nothing appears to be freshly made. In fact, I doubt they even use fresh eggs, because all the omelettes are pieces cut from a baking dish. The ones displayed in the refrigerator were, ah, let's say, uninviting. They looked more like a leftover from last weekend's brunch that you discover in your fridge 2 or 3 days later. The frittata, normally an easy breakfast meal, was barely warmed up from the nuke. The egg croissant was a bit better, although it appeared also to be made from whole-eggs-in-a-carton. If only it had been served with a better croissant, it could have passed for something edible. Asking for Tabasco proved futile, we were served a dirty bottle of a juice called "Tapatio". Coffee was decent, all things considered. We were not offered a refill. Sordide, pour le moins dire. This is exactly the type of little eatery I look for! There are delicious light foods for breakfast or lunch, tasty coffee and great pastries. We got a breakfast crepe (delicious!) and a quiche, then divided them so we each got half of each thing. I love the fresh little salad that comes along, and both items were very good. Our next visit I had a chocolate almond croissant; delicious! I also got a cappuccino - it was good but not the best ever. If you read any of my reviews, you know I am very picky in the cappuccino department! We also got a piece pistachio lemon cake, it was divine! I had la Provence crepe. Flavor was superb, combination of spinach, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese. Sèrvice was timely. I would certainly return. Please note I am peculiar how I like my crepes. Savory crepes should be made with buckwheat, not flour. Additionally, savory crepes should be crisp not soft. That said, these crepes were not traditional French crepes. The decorations and seating areas are so unique compared with other places within the United States. I had cafe de jour for coffee. A nice french toast that was very rich and perfectly made. Definitely a great place to pick up just a cup of coffee with their wide selections of coffees, espressos, and latte's. Ordered the Omelette de Jardin. 3 scrambled eggs, organic carrots, shaved red and white onions, tomatoes, and their house presto. Comes with a green salad topped with almonds and vinaigrette dressing. And wheat toast topped with melted butter. The bread, salad and omelette were absolutely stunning. Very French menu. They are doing well at staying with the French theme (no French burritos or anything). Even the waters in the fridge are quasi French (La Croix). Good music. Having the staff in more formal Parisienne garb would add value. Tough to find good help but I can't fault the owners for not wanting to work it all the time. I'm sure they kill it at the counter. The cost of owning your own business is you have to trust someone. I had a crepe and it was delightful as was my americano. A little hiccup with my order but the Cali Girl at the counter (11/4/21 2:30) pm did some good customer service to make me happy. Put a beret on her and BAMM you can charge 10% more for everything. A cute French café inspired store that literally is at the corner of a street. French music plays indoor and the site is open for dine-in and to-go. Masks are required to go in, but you can take it off once seated and dining. They function by having you order up front and then they will bring the food/drink out to you. In total, we ordered to-go their crepes, French toast, and a chocolate croissant. They heated the chocolate croissant right before the order was made so it was still warm when I went back to the hotel. I had the savory crepe (La Jambon) and not sure if it was on purpose, but they cooked the crepe on one side only. The interior fold of the savory crepe was still mushy and not like the exterior fold where it was pan-seared. At the very least, it was cooked, but the texture was a bit out of what I expected. The sweet crepe was pan-seared on both sides. La Jambon had a decent amount of ingredients in it and I wouldn't say it was too skimpy. The side salad that it came with had a nice dressing and it was very appetizing to have before the crepe. The chocolate croissant was honestly one of the better ones I've had in a long time. Very flakey, doesn't taste doughy, tastes buttery, but also very chocolatey as they did fill it nicely with chocolate. Had I known, I would have ordered more baked items from them instead of the crepe I think. All in all, they have various other items such as quiche, crème brulee, coffees, gelato, and even salads and sandwiches. Definitely worth your time to visit at least once if you are in the area to formulate your own opinions about the place. read more

It was my first and last time going there. The pastries were dry and you can tell that they are more than a day old, the vanilla latte tasted like plain steamed milk. And on top of that the server was so rude and looked like she didn't wanna be there. The location is great, but the service, food, cleanliness and quality was really bad. We got a ham & cheese sandwich which was really bland and had a pickle in it (usually you don't warm up a pickle?); two quiche plates each with a side salad, but the quiche was so bland that both flavors tasted the exact same (one was mushroom, one was ham & cheese)... also one quiche was a huge slice and the other plate was a really slim. More than half the tables were not cleared of plates even though there were four employees behind the counter. The lady who took our order was also not very well aware of the menu, what was available, and had a hard time answering our simple questions about the menu. We stopped here by accident today, and wasn't disappointed. It's a cute little coffee shop on the corner. It was such a nice warm day and decided to sit outside. There was a wide variety of things to order, but we opted for a breakfast croissant (egg and ham) and breakfast sandwich (on a baguette), as well as cappuccino's.
