Sometimes the only reason we'd drive down to Carlsbad after church in Vista would be to satisfy our perpetual strawberry craving. Unfortunately, after years of coming here we experienced a stunning collapse in the quality of what we beheld as their signature treat--the strawberry dole whip. Came here and got the signature strawberry shack shake. It tasted good but not really special - pretty much what you would expect of a combination of strawberry and yogurt. There looked to be some other syrups or chocolate swirled on the sides of the cup but I couldn't really taste it. If I came back I would probably try the strawberry lavender sundae instead because it seems more unique. Service was good - the lids they had were kind of weird shaped and didn't fit on the cups, but the woman at the counter told us that beforehand and apologized for the inconvenience.
