My daughter went and her friends, saw mold on a few pieces of fruit that were in the closed displays where you independently choose and get your item. Not a fan of the public reaching in and choosing reaching over and possibly touching other items. They were out of trays and had a huge stack of dirty trays but no clean ones. Ppl had to put there item on a napkin. They pointed it out to me and yup it was moldy fruit on three different pastries. Was gross. No trays so we left. Even with a coupon it wasn't worth waiting for trays, since they were stacked in the dirty area and no one was attending to them, it didn't seem anytime soon. Reminds me of a French 85 degrees but just as delicious. Really easy to collect your pastries as soon as you walk in and everything is labeled. Can order drinks, cakes, cold pastries at the counter. The staff is really welcoming and kind to customers so it's an extremely pleasant experience overall. It can get quite busy at this location so don't expect seating unless you go early in the morning or late afternoon. I recently had their almond raspberry croissant and my husband their creme and strawberry filled croissant. Both croissant were perfectly buttery, fluffy, and flaky. Absolutely delicious for the croissant itself but both fillings made it even better (if that's possible). We stooped at Paris Baguette recently and tried thier Blueberry chiffon cake and purchased some cinnamon raisin bread. They were both delicious. We decided to order the Blueberry Chiffon cake for my wife's birthday in December. It was a bit disappointing that they refused to accommodate for birthday decorations when I inquired ahead of placing the order stating that the only option was the holiday decorations. When I arrived for the pick I was told they could have done birthday decorations after all and that it must have been a misunderstanding. 1 star for service (lack of it actually) and attitude. Wed July 8th, 6:30 AM. At the counter: 2 ladies. One wearing glasses the other not. Other seems to be manager? I come in to pick up my order of 10 slices of cake which I put in online on July 5th. The "manager" says she cannot find my order on her device. Couple of minutes later, order found. She starts putting slices in the boxes. So far no apology, no eye contact, no words. She says "two of your selections are not available"! No apologies. Silence. I say OK - substitute them with what you have. Individual boxes are put in a bag. I decide to count - only 9 boxes. One missing, I say. Without speaking any word, she starts taking boxes out of the bag and counting. If course, 9 boxes. No apology no words. She fills another box and comes back and puts in the bag. Then walks away. This Paris Baguette located in an older strip mall is small. The ambience is pretty much the same. They now put it out cardboard boxes and tests. I like the idea of boxing my own goodies. There was entire case that was empty on a Wednesday afternoon. That was strange. They had everything that I wanted though. Pretty much most of their goods are not so sweet which I love and you do not feel icky after eating their desserts either because it is not so insanely packed with sugar. I ordered a slice of chocolate strawberry cake, a fruit tart, and a caramel macchiato. All tasted delicious. Almond milk and oat milk are alternatives to cow's milk if you are lactose intolerant. The shop has interesting latte flavors that I will have to try next time. The cake I ordered was fresh and light with a whipped cream frosting. The coffee was also delicious and not overwhelming sweet. Overall I will definitely return. Only cons were limited indoor seating on a busy and cold day, with tables and chairs very closely situated next to one another. There are some tables and chairs outside. Love Paris Baguette! We first came here for my birthday last year. We happened upon it while grocery shopping next door. We got some treats.
