The Cubano's ciabatta proved quite fluffy. The pickles did not seem too tangy. The beignets (3 per order) also proved incredibly fluffy. I knocked off some of the powdered sugar as I don't like too much sweetness. Overall, it possessed my preferred balance of slight bready savoriness accented with, but not overpowered with, sweetness. For an ad-hoc coffee and light lunch stop, it proved quite exceptional. I would most certainly return, especially for those beignets.

They do, however, have their own house blend coffee, which is solidly a B+. The upshot of spot is the staff, and the vibe. The former is knowledgeable, friendly, and keeps the space very tidy. The latter is kitschy. If you're going to hang one portrait in your spot, (the late) Tony Bourdain is a super-fine pick - James Dean of the culinary world. I would always say I wish they had more locations closer to home so I'm happy to see that they're expanding. Even though they're new, people got wind of their opening. On a Sunday afternoon it was packed. The wait wasn't too long and service was good overall. I tried the lavender haze iced macchiato. I enjoyed it.
