This was my first time to use SpinCyle to launder my clothes. This location is close to my home. It is newer, clean, spacious, and was moderately busy. I didn't need to wait for a machine. Char, the manager, was fantastic! She walked me through as a new customer and got me set up with a card. It's all internet-based and very efficient. I like the $3 discount given every time I put $20 on the card. I highly recommend it! read more

This laundromat is clean and has many very fast machines available, many laundry carts to use to get your things from point A to point B, snack and detergent dispensing machines. They have machines of different sizes so it would be easy to wash bulky items like comforters here (they specify no rugs on some machines though -- bath mats are fine, and not sure if that includes all machines since many don't have that sign on them). One minor discomfort to me is how little seating there is to wait for your laundry. There are two rows of stools (one in the sun for much of the day) but you feel sort of in people's way there because it's crowded. There are two small picnic tables outside. Just not comfy to wait for an hour. Another minor inconvenience is that many of the machines and the laundry card dispenser itself are very finicky about reading your cards and their prompts are sometimes unclear. You have to slide a bunch to make it happen but you eventually get there. You do need to buy and load a laundry card from them to use the machines; they don't take coins or your credit card or anything. The laundry card dispenser and refill machine does take credit, debit, and ostensibly cash though we never tried cash. All in all, not my favorite place to spend an afternoon but it gets the job done! read more

This laundromat has become increasingly frustrating and disappointing. On my visit today, 4 washers were not working. To make matters worse, eight dryers and an additional five washers are reserved for attendants only, leaving customers with extremely limited access to machines. While one gentleman on staff consistently provides good customer service, the overall experience has declined. There used to be a red-haired woman who was very attentive and kind--her customer service was excellent--but I'm not sure if she still works here. I won't comment on the other employees. What was especially upsetting today was being forced to unload all my laundry from the washers because no manager was available to authorize employees to change a large bill so I could reload my card. This lack of flexibility caused a major inconvenience and wasted my time. On top of that, customers are charged $2 just to obtain a laundry card, meaning you're paying before you even begin using the service. The rewards program has also been reduced, from a $5 bonus for every $20 spent to $3. While I understand inflation affects everyone, it's hard to justify when machines are frequently out of order or occupied by staff. After this experience, I drove a few miles to North Park and found a slightly cheaper, coin-operated laundromat on 38th Street. I plan to take my business there moving forward, as this location does not appear to be improving. This review is long overdue, and today was the final straw. Edit: replying to Charmaine employee Thank you for your response. I want to clarify a few points respectfully and accurately. You are correct that the $3 change policy begins after December 31st. However, what I referenced in my review is the business beginning to charge customers before services are used--specifically the new $2 charge for each laundry card, which is a recent change. I have been a loyal customer for about five years, washing here biweekly and spending approximately $75-$80 per visit. This card fee was not in place previously. Additionally, the $5 promotion is not new. I have consistently received the $5 bonus since I began washing here in 2020, so this is not a recent offering as implied. While I intentionally avoided naming individuals in my original review, I feel it's important to address customer service concerns. One particular staff member, Charmaine, has repeatedly displayed a negative and impatient attitude, not only toward customers, but also toward children. Families with small children should be aware that she appears easily annoyed and quick to complain, often watching children closely rather than offering understanding or assistance. While my own children are older, I have observed this behavior many times with other families. Regarding the situation mentioned, the employee did not attempt to call you. He had already called you minutes earlier about a different matter and was visibly frustrated. I was in the process of unloading six machines, so I'm unclear how it was assumed I was approached about it. I understand this is not a bank, but the tone and content of the response reflect poorly on customer service standards. Unfortunately, this experience represents a noticeable decline in what was once my go-to laundromat. This place used to be my go-to, but I forgot how rude and miserable the employees are. Anytime you ask a question, you're met with attitude. The machines are big and fast, which I like, and payment is easy and accessible. Unfortunately, if you have a question, you're better off keeping it to yourself unless you want an ugly look and attitude in return. read more

Came to do laundry on a Sunday afternoon. It was very empty. Maybe 2 or 3 people plus the employees. The manager rubbed us the wrong way. Came and talked to us and told us we had to take our dog out of the business. Which is fair. But it was the way she talked to her employees that felt very disrespectful and semi degrading. The prices were a bit higher than we are accustomed to. For the larger machines it was about 10 dollars to wash. Medium machines around 6 dollars. Small machines are 3 dollars. To dry is about 2 dollars for 30 minutes. You can't add time to it. So you need to wait until the machine expires in order to do another 30 minutes. There's a bunch of machines so you won't be fighting over any of it. There's a tv and they had cartoon movies playing. With closed captioning. There's music playing - top 40. To get started there's a card machine at the front of the store that you can get and upload cash on it. Parking is limited in the lot - 5 or 6 spots - plus there is street parking available. I had to leave quickly after doing my laundry, only to leave some items behind that were in a separate dryer. After realizing my mistake within an hour, I called & left a message over the phone detailing my items that were in a specific dryer. When I returned, they were well taken care of by the kind lady working there. She even was kind enough to give a bag to put them in. I've been coming here for a few years now, even though I live out of the area. It by far, is the cleanest, well run laundramat that I've been to. I come here to this laundromat regularly. It is always clean and has large washer and dryers. I come during the week and usually not crowded- I have found Monday mornings are usually less crowded. I find the prices reasonable since it's clean and safe. The only thing I don't like is that you must ask attendant to open restroom when needed. Haven't had any issues coming here or seen staff rude to customers yet. read more

Only pro : it's kept clean Cons : the older woman named "Char" who thinks she is the owner of the place is very rude and disrespectful to everyone including the staff . I have noticed she tends to be disrespectful to poc only. There are about 7 parking spaces only because they reserve one for the company truck. If you dare leave your car in the middle for one minute while you take your clothes down, the older woman " owner/manager/ queen of the palace" will chase you down and yell at you. I have witnessed her yelling and calling the cops on a black woman simply because she parked in the handicap to take her things down , but didn't have a placard, woman had forgotten it in another car which her mom later came to show the rude staff. All this staff member does is snoop around instead of doing her laundromat job. Everyone knows her for her rudeness, yet she is still employed here. Prices are ridiculously high. read more

I can see why this place is so busy, it's because the SpinCycle isn't just a laundry mat it's an experience. I needed to wash two queen size comforters because my washer is too small and isn't strong enough to support the weight. For the minute I walked into the lounge Char was there to greet me. She explained the whole process, from purchasing the card, loading the washing machine, and the dryer process. She explained that it's important to pay attention to time to avoid holding up the machine for other customers. Char is an asset and deserves acknowledgment. Dropped my mom off today to do some laundry. I had my child's dr appt to rush to. I didn't realize they don't take quarters here so my mom was asking the worker to help her exchange some for bills to get a laundry card and she said no to walk across the street and change it with an attitude. No intent to help. My mom said even if she would have begged for help she wouldn't have done anything to help. Before that, when dropping her off and bringing the laundry in, I grabbed a rolling basket to put our dirty clothes in and I guess that was supposed to be for fluff and fold only. When I left She chased my mom down while my mom was going to put the clothes in the washer, started taking our clothes out of the basket telling my mom she isn't supposed to use that basket. Luckily there were other customers that were nice enough to help her with everything. They even told and warned my mom that that worker is no good and rude all the time. What is that lady still doing there? My mom asked for the managers phone number and she told her with attitude too that she was the manager and owner. What an "owner", if she really is . IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I WOULD the staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. I parked in front of the laundry matt (I was not blocking doors) because there was no parking sports left, I have a 6 month old and a 4 year old and I was only there to switch my loads as I only live 3 minutes away. The worker starts yelling who's car who's care it needs to be moved as I'm switching my loads. One baby in the stroller the 4 year old running away simultaneously. I tell her yes I will right now give me a second because I LITERALLY had clothes in my hands. She proceeds to tell me she's getting my car towed. I say okay, knowing I wouldn't be there much longer. I put my clothes in the dryer get my babies together and see her by the door way calling people. I said "thank you for giving me a hard time when you see me here with my two small children" she proceeds to say that she is on the phone with the police and to take my clothes out of the dryer the police will escort my things out ? So weird just sooo weird. Rude and disrespectful to be shouting at me like that infront of other customers and my children??? Months back I had an incident with some woman who got upset that my husband took the last parking spot available in the parking lot of this laundry. She was so mad that she threatened to shoot my husband and other people heard her and witnessed what she said and the worker was also aware of what happened and a few months later this laundromat hired her to work there! I was really surprised when I saw her working there because how could this laundromat hire her when she threatened to shoot someone here who was just trying to wash there clothes. I have a 4 year old daughter I would definitely not feel safe coming back here after seeing that's she employed there now. To be honest, this was my first time ever using a laundromat so I don't really have much to compare SpinCycle to. However, I really did enjoy my experience here. This is a very modern, clean laundromat. You load money into a card, and can then use that card to purchase detergent and other supplies, as well as use the washers and dryers. There's plenty of machines of all different sizes, so you'll definitely be able to use one! There's also lots of counter/table space to fold your laundry, or even do work while you wait, since they have free wifi as well. The only down side is that the parking lot is pretty small. I would imagine that during peak hours, there might not be any parking. read more

I had a horrible experience yesterday at spin cycle it was a very hot day understandably but I asked the attendant if the owner could turn the fans on because it was incredibly hot inside the laundry mat she said wait let me go ask her she came back and said all the fans are broken and they will be working tomorrow for one I knew she was lying because those fans look brand new and I've seen them on previously they were not broken she was being cheap and did not want to put the fans on probably for electricity purposes that is really greedy selfish and rude to do that to paying customers that are hot and uncomfortable in her laundry mat she walks around like she has an attitude with everyone all the time the parking lot is very small and convenient the only good thing about that laundromat is that it's clean I would never go back because of that horrible experience read more

The place is clean and actually not a bad place to do laundry, BUT the people there mainly the ladies working there are rude the short one left my dryer open knowing that I left the laundry cart in front of my dryer for a reason. The giant one is just rude and I've been told to go somewhere else to do my laundry. Because I got sick of some lady yelling obscenities over the phone in Spanish. The fact that they she didn't understand what was being said made her think that I was harassing the rude lady. Best laundry mat I've ever been to! Doing laundry at a laundry mat can be a real pain, but this place makes it easy with multiple washing machines for different sized loads and just as much dryers to match! Plenty of space to lounge as you wait and tables to fold your clothes. WiFi is free and a bathroom is available as well. They have a vending machine for snacks, drinks, and any extra laundry detergent or dryer sheets that you may have forgotten but they are kind of pricey. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they do open up their big garage doors all year round so it can get real toasty in the summer && chilly in the winter. I come here because the place is clean and has new washer and dryers. Never had a bad experience until I dropped off my close to be washed and folded from the lady's that work there. They were nice and had good customer service skills. I picked up my close after paying for the wash fluff and file service and I was very disappointed in the way my close were folded and put in the bag as well. I think my kids could of folded better then this. It looks like they were in a rush just to get my close out of there and not concerned about the quality of their work even tho it's so simple to just fold the clothes right. The service here is amazing. I've been coming here close to 2 years and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they stock the vending machine with all my favorite drinks! Also the manager is awesome she always has this place running smoothly. I love seeing her on the days I do my laundry. She's very hardworking and generally a wonderful person to chat with. This laundry mat was the most unprofessional place I've ever visited in my life. The laundry attendant was very rude & rushed us the entire time we were there so he could leave at 10pm & when our clothes were in the dryer he called the manager & tried to have her kick us out when I had already paid to dry my clothes. Worst experience ever , was harassed at 8:40 stating I needed to hurry up because last wash was at 8:45 mins you my first time ever there . Lady was very rude , kept rushing me , when I asked for help on system was told it's easy and I can do it my self . Finally got it and she almost didn't let me wash because I had to purchase new card (I didn't know I needed a card to wash ) closing time was 10 I wasn't aware so I was inside my car outside with my timer still had (15 minutes when I approached to get inside) she cussed me out and said closing time is 10 pm "dumbass" it was 10:10 at the time I didn't know 10 was closing time & she said I had to get my things the next day and lucky if I did because she ran the whole thing , then while I was in the parking lot she then harassed me said I couldn't be parked there ( mind you it was 5 minutes after she told me I couldn't get my things at 10:15 or so) incredibly worse experience I ever encountered at a laundromat, which I payed $40 to load on a card and purchased to have the worst customer service possible . I will never be coming here ever in my life as well be notifying all my guest at my hotel / friends & relatives to not come here due to the customer service I encountered. read more
