6/30/20 I am a frequent guest at Fresh Kitchen. I absolutely love this place. I met the owner in Tampa many years ago with my wife Wendy as I frequented his other restaurants on Howard in South Tampa . Jimmie and Stevie have always been the most hospitable and personable as well as knowlegable of what it means to be a great emtrepenuer in the food industry. It proved itself Tonite in Boca Raton as I was there around 8:40 pm and was greeted with smiles and enthusiasm by everyone , especially important at this time as we all know. I just wanted to tell everyone how much I appreciate the service that I received this evening , not to mention the food was outstanding as always. I love the concept of this place, and some of the food items were good; however, almost everything was spicy (as in, hot spicy), and all of the vegetables were undercooked. Since I don't like spicy food, I ordered things that you wouldn't expect to be spicy (and avoided anything the employees described as spicy), but the barbecue chicken, the noodles, and the tofu were all spicy. It was disappointing because the flavors of each of these items were great otherwise. It would make much more sense for these items to be mild and to have spicy sauces as options for those who like their food to be spicy. The options for people who don't like spicy foods are very limited. All of the vegetables my husband and I tried were undercooked. The broccoli and green beans were close to raw. It is disappointing, as the idea of a build-your-own bowl is great, and I like all of the items in theory. If they weren't spicy or undercooked, I would give this place 4-5 stars. read more

I'm giving this location a three for poor customer service while taking our order. We have been to this location a couple times before today and other FK locations and have never had an issue ordering six bowls at a time before. Their Tampa location is much busier and I've never had an issue. The server said he couldn't take my order because it would back up the line. There was literally only one other person behind us at the time. He called the manager over and the manager asked if I could order three, pay and then go back through the line to order the other three. If you've ever been to a FK you know how quick it is to get through the line. It took less than a minute to get through with the first three. Another minute wouldn't have made a difference. The manager said next time order online. I explained I was driving and didn't want to do that. Needless to say we were very disappointed and made to feel that our time wasn't as valued as the customers in line behind us. If they had just taken my order it would have been quicker than the time it took for him to call a manager over to explain why they couldn't take my order all at once. I am curious if this is an FK policy or just this location since this has never happened before. At least the food was good and fresh. read more

I love this place! I was visiting Boca and went one day, and it's one of the few places I've been able to order cauli mash... love loved it! Really liked the broccoli too. I got the tofu which was interesting but I think I'd like the meat more. They have both hot and cold options and so many different combinations possible, I definitely will be back to try something new next time! read more

I was pretty impressed with this location overall. I am came during lunch today and it was busy which some people frown upon but not me usually that means the food is great. I was standing in line for 10 mins got to the front and ordered a six piece bowl. Coconut rice, sweet potato mash, broccoli, mushrooms, BBQ chicken, and lemon zest chicken. Wow it was really good for the most part. BBQ chicken was a little dry, but the zest chicken was tender. Staff was friendly and seems happy to dishing out these orders. FK IS FINALLY HERE!!!!l I have been watching this place since they started building it and was curious to see how it would be. I came today with some coworkers for a family and friends event and the bowls were completely free. The line was insane but moved so fast. The food is PACKED with flavor- one bite better than the next. We were all beyond impressed. It blows every other food option out of the water. Some of my fav things I tried on were the sweet potato noodles, the Parmesan broccoli, the Brussels sprouts, the chia seed tuna poke and the coconut sriracha sauce . UGH amazing. During my stay in Boca I ate here almost every day for a week. It is such good food for such a great price. I left feeling complete from my meal. Even my 12 year old daughter loved it. Now that we are home in a different state I miss Fresh Kitchen. We both often say that we wish were back there. Hopefully this chain will expand. Highly recommend!!! read more

Of course the food was great but their kindness and service in a time when those things are hard to come by was truly extraordinary! I needed a large order for a corporate event a noon. They open at 11 and it was going to be a tight timeline. I spoke with Brianna about the order the day before and she assured me they would do their best to have it to me by 11:40. Not only did she have it ready for me a couple of minutes before that, she was so friendly (in a very hectic environment) and the order was labeled and perfect! Husband bought take out home tonight. It was delicious and filling. I'm so glad that I don't feel overly stuffed. I had a large bowl with chicken, tofu, kale slaw, mushrooms, quinoa and green beans. I also had a herb vingerette as a sauce. This is definitely a healthier version of chipotle. They also have other sauces, bases (such as salad, brown rice, spicy rice etc.) proteins and steam veggies with different sizes for the entree. My husband had BBQ chicken, steak, green beans, cauliflower, spicy rice, topped with avocado. He said it was sooo good! He also said they have juices and sodas.
