I think the food here is great and I love the convenience of the online ordering. However, the online order fulfillment lacks quality control. Shame on me for not pulling my bowls out of the bag and checking to make sure they were correct but that really defeats the purpose of doing an online order so that you can quickly "grab and go." One bowl was missing broccoli and the other was missing mushrooms. I only ordered two bowls and both were wrong. Definitely disappointing. These bowls aren't cheap. It's hard to overlook one veggie missing from a two veggie bowl. Do yourself a favor and do your own quality control or order in the restaurant. read more

My family and I came here about a week ago and the food was super tasty! We all loved our bowls that we created. The only thing is (and i don't want to necessarily blame the business but....) my husband and 2 children had the chickpeas, I didn't, and they all ended up getting sick that night and the next day. Oh my gosh, yes! We just got off of a cruise in Fort Lauderdale and this was exactly what we needed. If you care what you eat or are restricted (we have to be gluten free but also appreciate the dairy free and soy free options as well), this is paradise! Everything is listed as such and it tastes great. It is also a great amount of food for the price in my opinion! Definitely two meals for me with the six bowl, maybe more...? A healthy version of the fast casual style of restaurants proliferating recently. I ate there twice last week, and enjoyed it both times. The food is fresh, tasty, and even with a limited selection, there's plenty of variety for carnivores, vegetarians, and even vegans. The prices are modest for the portion sizes. The only dings are fairly minors ones: the outdoor seating chairs are uncomfortably hard, they don't offer non-refrigerated bottled water, (but I'll bet they read their reviews and figure out how to accommodate this simple idea), and the music is too loud. read more

Went in tonight and ordered 5 bowls for family that is visiting that couldn't decide what kind of take out they wanted. Staff was really kind and patient as I figured out how it worked and what I wanted. Food was delicious and was plenty to go around. Great service. Came in a few minutes before their closing time, and they staff was so patient and friendly. The recommendations were great. They allowed me to taste a few things as it was my first time here. I never felt rushed. Hope the staff doesn't change! It was definitely the highlight of my experience here. We had our first experience of fresh kitchen in Sarasota Florida and absolutely loved it! Needless to say, we were overjoyed after learning that they had opened in our neighborhood. They are very generous, well priced, and have excellent customer service skills. Do not hesitate to ask for samples of anything you might want to try. Although the food is really good, each one has their own flavors and and sauces and it is worrisome to try and mix and match your own the first time. Fresh Kitchen is a fantastic option for gluten- and dairy- free folks like me. I have had many combinations of bowls here, and have found them all to be delicious and filling. However, the add-ons for meals (avocado, tomatoes, salsa, etc.) can up the cost of a meal very quickly. The options for permutations of a meal are slim-i.e. if you want two vegetables instead of two bases, pay extra. Fresh Kitchen could do better in pricing, but the food is excellent! read more

If I were to describe it I would say it's Chipotle's vegetarian sibling, though they do have some meat options available. I usually get the ahi tuna and salmon with kale broccoli and mushrooms. This is my go-to place whwn i want to eat healthy. I am not vegan nor am I a vegetarian so I usually get the bbq grilled chicken, spinach salad, brown rice and sweet potatoes. Omg is it filling and soo delicious. My boyfriend went back and got a 2nd order we couldnt share just 1! I thought the decor was nice and modern, love the pink floral touch. Of course pink is my fav color! The sign on the door of the bathroom was very leftist progressive in nature. Said something to the effect of "For use by anyone regardless of gender identity, self expression or sexual preference" something like that. Everything about the place was great - until I realized I mis read the cauliflower mash. It is cauliflower potato mash - why??? The point of Cali mash is to not have mashed potatoes. Really which you would have one or the other - doesn't make sense. Update - restaurant understood my concern and asked me to come back. Once again, everything was fresh and flavorful. I had the spinach and kale, with mushrooms and broccoli and then two types of chicken on top. We tried the teas and frescas as well. We will be back. read more
