I thought "great, so I know they offer water cups". I sat down at a table near the checkout line and waited for my food to be brought out. The cashier handed it to me. I decided I wanted a cup of water since it was something they offer, right? Wrong. So I went back up to get in the line. I asked the gentleman who first greeted me for a cup of water. He said of course and to ask the cashier for it. So I did. I stood in line again and waited to ask the cashier. When i finally get to the cashier, i ask him and he says they only offer water for purchase. I ended up just walking away and leaving the establishment because I knew he was lying and it had already been a long night so I was ready to go after that. So my question is, why did i see someone else just moments before me getting water that wasn't for purchase? And why did the other gentleman tell me that I could? So I guess it just depends on who you are and what you look like, if you know what I mean. Also to make matters worse, my friend told me that she was at a table putting Parmesan on her pizza and an employee came by and took it off the table without even asking if she was done using it. The sad part is, I really liked the pizza but I will NEVER go back because of the strange, discriminatory behaviors of some of the staff.

Finally, I had to tell him directly, "We're not in a rush, even though you are." He's probably late 20s, dark hair, a beard, and overall a really poor performer. If he doesn't like his job, he should go do something else, though I doubt he's qualified to do much other than be on welfare. We bought four entrées, an appetizer, and two rounds of drinks. We probably would've bought more but for this really poor waiter. This is a good restaurant with very good food and a good concept. You (owner/manager) need to take much more care on the people side. It's hard to hire good talent these days but you need to do better than this. Good luck. But you need to realize there are way too many choices out there. I ordered a pepperoni pizza wheel, a slice of everything and I think pepperoni and sausage. They were heated quickly and boxed to go. I also got a slice of plain cheesecake. It was great. When I got home, the pizza wheel was still piping hot, as it was wrapped in foil. The slices were very warm. I was disappointed because I did not taste garlic, oregano, salt, basil or much flavor aside from the actual toppings. Is that traditional in a New York pizza? The cheese was chewy, which was great, and the crust was crispy. I will go back again, because they service was great, and I want to try the pastas. I don't think I'll try the pizza again though. The price was very competitive.
