Javier was very friendly but also professional. You can tell he loves animals. He did a great job cleaning, trimming, and dematting Lady's hair. She came back to us smelling great and looking beautiful! We will definitely book with Fresh Pup again :)

I'd give more stars if I could. Javier was perfect businessman-he communicated well with me via text and was able to squeeze my pup Ande in first thing in morning of an already packed work day. He arrived on time, was very friendly and made Ande feel as comfortable as possible and then....gave him a terrific haircut! Did fantastic job and took his time. I believe I have found my go-to groomer for my two dogs. My experience with Javier was awesome. One of my two dogs had spinal surgery back in March and I've been very hesitant about taking him to the groomers (as in dropping off and leaving there). Luckily for me Javier brought all my grooming needs to my doorstep. He was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. His prices are very reasonable (which he was upfront about) and he did a wonderful job on my dogs. So please give Javier a call and try out his mobile grooming service. I had an excellent experience and had a great chat with Javier while he was taking care of my dogs. He services Walnut and all surrounding areas so if you're not sure I wouldn't hesitate to give him a call.

Javier was great. We have three dogs - big, medium and small. One is senior, recently had pneumonia and has a heart condition; middle size girl is sweet but rambunctious; small girl was adopted after being mistreated in her previous life and is nervous with strangers. They all loved Javier. He replied to my first text right away, and kept me informed all the time of possible times for the appointment, when he was getting close to our house and how long he might take. Thanks, Javier!

We have been home bound sine Marsh and our poor Hennessey was in such dire need of grooming and especially nail trimming. We were so happy to be able to book Fresh Pup Mobile to come take care of our baby's needs. We were also so very concerned for his safety and compatibility with a new groomer. We are so very happy that they were so wonderfully effective at putting us and especially our poodle at ease! I have so many good things to say about this groomer named Malory. First off she does an amazing job and she is really kind to the dogs. The whole mobile grooming service is great. It's so convenient. Malory walks right up to the door with her own slip on leash to get your dog. Every dog will take a different amount of time being groomed but for both of our dogs it only took about an hour before they were finished. These groomers take care of everything. They do a haircut, bath, sanitary plus anal glands, clean the inside of ears and of course grind the nails down. Malory ask detailed questions about how you want your dog to be groomed and if you want anything extra. She also sends you a few texts when she is grooming to give you updates on how your dog is doing and if she has any questions while she is working on your dog. Malory does such an amazing job that I am now going to quit going to my other groomer. I have been going to my other groomer for 6 years! They were really nice and did an okay job but Malory does a much better job. This is only my second time using Fresh Pup Mobil Pet Spa and I will use them for as long as they stay in business. I am a super happy customer and recommend this mobile dog groomer to absolutly anyone. I can't say enough good things about them!

Javier was excellent! Easy to book, got a semi emergency appointment due to a run in with a skunk. Javier prefers to text via smartphone. Makes it easy to make changes to arrivals, payment, and questions. Took care to wash, shampoo, and de-fur my dog... Excellent mobile grooming services at a great price! I was a little nervous about Yves' first appointment with a new groomer today because she is an older dog and has been dealing with some pain. I loved that Javier took his time with her and when she was done she looked amazing and was relaxed. She is NEVER relaxed after grooming so I can tell that he was good to her! Today we had our first appointment with Fresh Pup. I couldn't be happier! Our Australian Labradoodle Lucy got her summer cut and she came out beautiful! We have found our go to for our Lucy! It's so hard to find a good groomer especially some of the mobile groomers. But I'm so happy and so is Lucy with Fresh Pup! Already setting up Lucy on a regular grooming schedule! I'm so amazed. My Harley girl doesn't like anyone. As soon as Mallory took her on the leash Harley completely calmed down. I was expecting her to get a muzzle, and in the end she didn't even need one. Dorian and Mallory were super professional, arrived on time, took time to explain things and give recommendations. Such amazing service!!! My dog is a small yorkie terrier and we usually take him to a local dog groomer. With everything going on my groomer was closed so I decided to look around and out of every place I called and read reviews Fresh Pup was the best and responded with amazing service. I was able to get an appointment the next day and I was not disappointed! My dog is a bit on the difficult side so I was worried but I think he enjoyed it more knowing he was right outside our home and he wasn't surrounded by other dogs or kept in a crate! Mallory also did check in between the groom and let me know he was doing okay which I appreciated. The hair cut was amazing and I was not disappointed. Mallory did an amazing job and the price is worth it considering you don't drive anywhere. Thank you Mallory for the amazing cut and thank you Fresh Pup! I got my dogs Jordy and Coco a cut and wash for about the 3rd or 4th time and everytime they do and amazing job on my dogs they look adorable Jordy had the cutest bow tie on and Coco had two little cute bows on each ear. Don't know where to begin, as an executive assistant finding high quality vendors who are so great at what they do and accommodating is number one for me. I get my bosses my dogs groomed weekly and Fresh Pup has made my life SO much easier! Best experience ever! I was really hesitant to take my dog to another groomer because I move alot and it's hard to adjust for them so I decided maybe a mobile groomer might help the dogs be less anxious and won't be locked up in a kennel for hours. My dogs loved it, they went it and came out happy as can be. Even my German Shepherd was comfortable. When she was delivered she was so calm while on the leash which shows you how well and what a good vibe Javier gives off. My dog had a few hotspots and so this was taken care of and her hair came out beautiful. The van was extremely clean and the duration of the bath was perfect. Javier just pulled away. He quoted me a base price and told me it may be more depending on the behavior of the dog. In the past I've had my Rex groomed by a husband and wife team. The husband would hold him in a bear hug while his wife cut the back. Rex does not like anyone touching the back area. I was wondering how much I was going to be charged since Rex was out in the van for a very long time. Javier finished Rex and did Daisy. They both had a complete shave down. I cannot believe how good Rex looks. I got charged the quoted price. I am impressed with the cuts. I would definatly recommend Javier. read more

So I texted Javier Saturday early and asked if he had an opening for Sunday . He responded so quick via text and let me know he had a 10 am slot open . So of course I was extremely happy , that my previous Luna was going to get pampered . Today he showed up to my house around 10 am , he rang my doorbell and introduced himself which I liked. He got accustomed to Luna so she felt comfortable with him. He asked me what kind of cut or trim I wanted for her and let me know how long it was gonna take as well . While visiting family in CA, I needed a groomer at pretty much the last minute right before Christmas. I reached out to Fresh Pups and they were able to squeeze me in. I moved to Texas in June and my dogs hadn't been professionally groomed since then so, quite frankly, I was really embarrassed about their condition. The groomers were so sweet! They didn't even bat and eye. They just took both dogs and off they went. I'm really impressed they are fully self-contained. They didn't need any hook-ups for water or electricity like some other groomers I've used. About an hour later both dogs were done and they looked absolutely adorable! Really great service and I'd 100% use them again! read more

We were on a lovely weekend getaway, secure in the knowledge that our Espee was safe and sound, waiting for for our return.... We were soooo very wrong. Our 4 yr old husky is very cagey. Our unsuspecting house sitter fell for her whines and moans and as he took her out the front door, at almost one o'clock in the morning, she bolted. Two hours later, she was located by a extremely kind young lady, on her way home from work. I say extremely kind and obviously an animal lover, as she had Espee sitting in her car after a run-in with a skunk. Needless to say, Espee did not enjoy her short time as an escapee. We came home to an extremely repentant and, also, an extremely stinky Espee. We called Fresh Pets. I explained what happened and they did not hesitate. Mallory and her husband Dorian came to our rescue the following morning. As they dealt with my stinky dog, I tackled my stinky house (did I forget to mention she got away from the house sitter when they got home?). Both still needed time after cleaning to air out (2 weeks), but,Espee looked amazing and smelled 100 times better after her time with Mallory and Dorian. We will be using them from now on as much for the convenience of having them come to the house as for the exceptional and loving way they handled Espee. read more

My American Eskimo HATES haircuts but Javier told me he was a very well behaved and loving dog! I was looking for a pet groomer in Walnut and I called and found out it was a home based business. Very helpful over the phone and took my dog in right away! Javier was very friendly and also called him to let me know about discounts for first time customers. My dog went in around 9:30 AM and was done before 12! So fast and so inexpensive. I will be coming here from now on and referring him to every one I know. read more

Malory was super sweet when she arrived. Dogs were groomed well and quick. This was my first time trying Fresh Pup Grooming and after my great experience I am sticking with them as my fur babies groomers! They were matted so they had to be shaved down but they still managed to keep their faces fluffy and adorable I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great groomer for their fur babies. read more

Established in 2016.

I started fresh pup in my very own backyard with a water hose and a portable bath tub. it did the job for the first few months in business. with it being so hot over summer we moved into a parked trailer in my front yard that kept it a bit more climate controlled over those hot summer days. with the help of our loyal clients we were able to save up and purchase a 2017 ford transit which allowed us to offer mobile service for those with busy schedules and liked the convenience of staying at home. we still offer services at location on our page (only by appointment)

My name is Javier and I am the owner and operator of Fresh Pup Pet Spa. my passion for the care of pets started at a young age, I always had a affinity for looking out after a pets well being. at the age of 15 I raised champion Siberian huskies. Being one of the breeds requiring high level of care, it taught me a lot that a dog is more then just simply an animal but a family member that need the type of maintenance everybody else receives in their household. through out the years Ive learned more then just how to perform a bath and cut on your pets but to lookout for the over all health of them with the knowledge I've acquired over the years. The most I waited for my dog before was 3 hours (but I was given a heads up by the groomer that they were busier the day he waited for 3 hours, so not an issue at all). My dog was there for about 6 hours. I dropped him off in the late morning and he's wasn't ready until the later in the afternoon. I called to check in after a few hours, but was told her was in rotation to be finished soon... No one gave me a heads up about it maybe taking a while when I dropped him off. When my dog finally was able to come home, he was super dehydrated, immediately needed to use the restroom and was just lethargic overall (never an occurrence in any previous visit at this groomer or at any of the other previous grooming locations my dog has gone to). The stars given are only because of the positive experiences I had BEFORE the most recent one because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my dog here and this would've been a 5 star place for me. But based off my recent experience, it was not a 5 star service. I didn't recognize anyone there, (granted it had been a little while since we had last brought him in), so I'm not sure if they have new staff. However, I unfortunately don't want to put my dog through something like this most recent experience again.

I think they got me confused with a different customer as I never been there before. A few hours later I noticed on the top of my dogs back, where there is quite a few skin tags, a few spots were bleeding! I called Fresh Pup and was greeted by Michelle which is very lovely and was able to break down the service price and what to expect as a first time mobile client. They were able to fit me as soon as possible considering the holidays are around the corner.Then Javier and his staff showed to my house and greeted me and my pups. Javier is very knowledge about breeds and I never seen my pups get so excited about a person and just that made me feel very at ease and comfortable about Fresh Pup. Our third or fourth time using their services and we have been satisfied each time. The groomers are always great with my Pomeranian and Poms are high-maintenance... our dog always comes out looking brand-new with his lil scarf. This last visit was a shampoo, nail trim, and sanitary trim which came out to slightly less than the inconsistent, bougie place we normally go to would charge. Last time we went all-out with the fancy oatmeal shampoo and full haircut and the price was great. Plus they come to you and this whole process with my complicated dog took about 40 min. I am absolutely happy and satisfied with the groomers service. My dog is a little bit of a belligerent dog and hates getting his hair cut, but Javier is a great groomer, professional work/service. He is great with dogs dealing from huskies to Maltese. Javier does this for his love of dogs, seeing as he has told me how he raised dogs all his life, he's very well trained and professional. Mallory and Javier just groomed my Guinness and Amber and I could not be happier!! My babies look and smell amazing. Mallory had such a calming and loving manner with both of them, which is very important to me, especially with my Guinness because he can be a little slow to respond to people at first. The website listed a grooming range of $180-$250 for our dog's size and coat type. Our concern is not that pricing can vary, but that the final price should be determined and clearly communicated before the service is performed, not after it has already been completed. Our dog is an indoor husky who is groomed regularly, brushed frequently at home, and had been professionally groomed only a few weeks prior. Despite this, we were charged both the maximum grooming price and the maximum impactation fee, bringing the total cost to approximately $300. When we asked what specifically qualified our dog for the impactation fee and why the maximum fee was applied, we never received a clear answer. We were repeatedly told that the office staff handles billing while the groomers focus on the dogs, yet no one could explain exactly what condition justified the additional charge or how the amount was determined. We also raised concerns that our dog was returned to us still damp and continued shedding afterward, which left us questioning whether the service matched the premium price we were charged. To be clear, the groomer himself was kind, professional, and handled our dog well. Our issue is not with him personally. Our frustration is with the lack of transparency regarding pricing, the conflicting information we received, and the inability to obtain a clear explanation for the additional charges. Another frustration was how our concerns were addressed. Rather than directly answering our questions regarding the impactation fee and final pricing, much of the response focused on the fact that we did not raise our concerns until approximately an hour after the appointment and that the groomer had been tipped. To us, neither of those points addresses the actual issue. Tipping the groomer was a reflection of our appreciation for how he treated our dog, not an acknowledgment that we understood or agreed with every charge. Likewise, whether concerns are raised five minutes later or an hour later does not change the fact that we were never informed of the final cost before the service was completed. Had we been told beforehand that the final cost would be approximately $300, we likely would not have proceeded with the appointment. Customers deserve to know what they will be charged before the work is completed and should receive clear explanations when additional fees are assessed. UPDATE: After posting this review, the company responded to my wife, and unfortunately their response only reinforced our concerns. At no point did we request a refund. We did not argue that mobile grooming should be inexpensive, nor did we dispute that it is a luxury service. In fact, before moving to the area, we routinely paid approximately $300 to have our husky professionally groomed and had no issue doing so because the pricing was transparent and clearly communicated beforehand. We were excited to try this company because it offered the convenience of mobile grooming at a price that appeared lower than what we had previously paid elsewhere. The issue was never whether we could afford the service. The issue was transparency. When we repeatedly asked what specifically justified the maximum grooming fee and maximum impactation fee, those questions were never directly answered. Instead, the company suggested that we were "price sensitive," that their pricing may not be "in our bracket," that we could find "$50 grooming somewhere nearby," or that we should groom our dog ourselves. We found those comments dismissive and unprofessional. Customers should be able to ask reasonable questions about billing and pricing transparency without having assumptions made about their finances. This entire situation could have been avoided with a simple explanation of the charges before the service was completed. Even afterward, a clear explanation would have resolved our concerns. Instead, we received personal remarks that had nothing to do with the questions we asked. For anyone considering this business, I strongly encourage you to obtain a final price before grooming begins and ask how any additional fees will be assessed and communicated.

My sister found them on Yelp and took her dog Lula. She told me about them and had me look at their work on IG. I decided to give them a call and book Coals first appointment. Now I'm not going to lie, mama and Coal were extremely anxious about this appointment. Coal is a special needs dog and has separation anxiety issues as well. I explained everything to Denise and she reassured me that Coal would be fine and they are comfortable working with special need dogs. When arriving today, the two ladies were friendly and welcoming. Right away Daniela took Coal and started bonding with him. Throughout the entire session Denise sent me texts and video updates on the progress they were making which put my mind at ease. Towards the end he was being difficult but they still worked with him and he looks amazing! When it was all over, Coalie was full of kisses for his new buddy Daniela. I'm so grateful to have found such caring and amazing groomers. Thank you Daniela and Denise for making Coals first grooming experience a great one and taking the time to not only comfort the pup but his over anxious mama as well.

I made an appointment today to actually get my fluffier husky done by one of the groomers because she needed some deep help with her undercoat. The groomers name was Kaitlyn who did her and she did a great job. Very friendly, got Skye's undercoat out, and gave me a recommendation for which brush I should buy for inbetween grooms. This is definitely a great place and I highly recommend it for a professional groom or a self wash!

She was kept calm, comfortable & happy. Iris had great chill vibes! Iris gave us an informal debrief after and we got a report about how our lil puggie did with a pic and swag bag. I highly recommend Vanity Fur! We've tried 3 other mobile services and by far this is the best! Also the only groomer that asked for vaccination records. I am so glad I did. Everything was perfect from star to finish! The booking process was super easy, they were very responsive and friendly, and answered any questions/concerns I had. And I love the fact that they were right on time! My dog was very matted and needed a deshedding desperately. Iris was awesome and made sure he came out looking and smelling like a new dog! My little one gets haircuts here and they've done a fantastic job every time. I also really appreciate that there are no cages, so dogs don't feel trapped or stressed. In the front, there's a TV where you can sit and watch your dog being groomed if you want. We usually book 2 tubs, wash our own Shepherd & Lab, in tubs where they can see each other. Our Shepherd doesn't love the water but when she see's our lab enjoying it, she settles down. Vis-versa on the nails, when our Lab sees our Shepherd on the table getting her ears cleaned & a manicure (while nibbling on a delicious treat, celery, broccoli stock, or one of their chew sticks dipped in my peanut butter), he attentively awaits his turn on the table!

In addition, I can always tell when the pups haven't had a good experience because they're fearful or anxious to get away from the groomer, but both my pups walked out of her grooming trailer very happy and looking fantastic! What better recommendations is that! She has groomed our three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels two times now and done a beautiful job. Her prices are reasonable, she takes her time with each dog and she comes to us (no more dropping them off and having to come back later to pick them up)! We couldn't be more satisfied with the service and our dogs really like her too.
