We needed a "spring clean" on a short turnaround, as our cat was having an allergic reaction to dust and other things that had settled throughout the long winter. Fresh Tech was able to send someone on very short notice and get our apartment cleaned quickly! Faruk was thorough in asking about our location, rooms, and parking and was able to provide accurate pricing. Alicia was polite and comprehensive in her cleaning. We did provide a bucket, our vacuum, and a ladder to help speed the process, though not sure if this changes anything other than availability and turnaround time. The cleaning is good. I've used Handy a bunch, and after using Fresh Tech for 3 months, the qualify of cleaning is more consistent with Fresh Tech. Since I know these things get pegged on the workers, the one cleaner I'll call out is Khari, who I always had a good experience with and who always did a good job. If I was reviewing Khari alone I'd give her 5 stars. The communications are super weird with this company. The corporate communications really gross me out and strike me as anti-worker. I really didn't like being told that if a cleaner tries to work with me on their own I should report it and that they would be fined. That really struck me as language that would endanger their workers. What protects cleaners from customers making dishonest claims? Fresh Tech's communications made me feel like they were putting my satisfaction before the humanity of their workers. I am not cool with that. I want a regular maid service because I want to always have the same cleaner. Having the same time slot is good but less important. I've repeatedly had substitute cleaners, where they'd say the cleaning team was one person, but then a different cleaner would show up without any advance warning. That's not ok. If my preferred cleaner can't make it, I'd rather reschedule the time slot than change cleaners. And honestly the chemical-free nature of the company isn't something I even realized when I booked them the first time. I don't even remotely care about that. If you care about that, then, sure, they've got that. Oh and I have a dog, and all the cleaners were cool with my dog. read more

I love that they're able to get my home clean without all the nasty chemicals. I'll be the first to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the idea of not using bleach, 409, etc (even though they said it would be okay if my preference was for them to use my own products), but I'm so glad I gave the deionized water a chance, as it's superior in every way. It truly cleans surfaces and removes germs without the icky chemical film and smell left behind. I'm pleased to report that Fresh Tech contacted me proactively and helped resolve the issues completely to my satisfaction. I booked Fresh Tech for a deep clean. Going into it I was extremely impressed with Dave and the high level of communication regarding what needed to happen in our home and scheduling. Unfortunately the end result was lack luster. Our cleaning team did a below average job. They missed key areas of our home and didn't vacuum under couch cushions, wipe key flat surfaces in high touch spaces in our family room, and missed entire bits of our kitchen floor and the sink. We needed a real deep clean that left our home sparkling for upcoming listing pictures and showings. That isn't what we received at all. I called with my concerns and applaud Dave for instantly addressing my feedback. That said it doesn't remedy the issue and we've now wasted a fair amount of money and time. If you opt to go with this service, I would caution you to be very vigilant and verbal with your cleaning team. read more

Untrustworthy. We used them once for their "Plus" cleaning and they sent 2 people for a total of 6.5 hours. We sent them feedback showing areas which were missed in the first cleaning. The second time, they made a scheduling mistake sent 1 person instead of 2 to clean our place. The person sent (who mentioned there was a scheduling screw up) also had to go to another job in 3 hours and would have not been able to clean the entire home. When I spoke to her manager over the phone, he tried to cover his mistake and tried to justify why 1 person for 3 hours was going to be enough and that she had to leave at the end of 3 hours. When I asked if they can guarantee the entire home was going to be cleaned, the unprofessional answer I got was "let us see how far she gets and we can send someone over on another day to finish". I cancelled the booking and was told they never want to work with me again. What a joke!!! read more

Never ever use this company. The cleaning is fine, comparable to more respectable companies, but the lack customer service and respect for their customers is downright inexcusable. They not only broke the bed but they stole a very expensive camera with 3 YEARS worth of photos. After numerous emails and phone calls to try and resolve they had the audacity to ask for payment and confirm their next cleaning without even acknowledging the theft and mistreatment of personal items. Do not use this entity. They cancelled or re-arranged things at the last minute two times in a row. They are also overpriced. The woman who owns the outfit became extremely combative over the phone and also insulting. What's that about? Very unprofessional all the way around. They wanted to send a hearing impaired person who does not read lips to our house by herself and told us we would have to manage her while at our house by writing her notes or sending text messages........really? That shouldn't be our obligation to do. Plus, as a lawyer, I believe this is a clear violation of OSHA law to put an employee in that type of position. The initial time they notified us on the day of cleaning that the person was sick.......never suggested sending someone else maybe later that day, Clearly, they have staffing issues. Dave did a really great job explaining their services and listening to my needs, and set up a both efficient and affordable plan for our move out cleaning. I called Fresh Tech maid because I am in a rehab facility having broken my leg in October (2019). My housekeeper had left me weeks before my accident and I needed to have my house cleaned before my family descended for Thanksgiving. Margaret saved me and did a wonderful job of deep cleaning in a large house that she had never been in! She was thorough and professional, according to my neighbor who acquainted her with the house in my absence. When she left the house was "sparkling" and ready for my family. I was so pleased that I had Margaret come back and do a post-Thanksgiving cleaning which also involved washing linens and making three beds. Two weeks ago I booked a cleaning with Fresh Tech to clean my house today since I'm having people over on the 4th of July. I've received multiple reminder emails from them about the appointment, including yesterday at 8:30 AM. Then yesterday at 10:30 AM they sent another email saying the service was canceled with no explanation. I emailed them asking what is going on since I didn't cancel but I haven't heard anything back from them. It's too late now to find someone else so I'll be racing around cleaning my house myself. For my first home cleaning, I hired Fresh Tech Maid Services. Enya was assigned to clean my home. Enya is enthusiastic, hard-working, upbeat, conscientious, and well-organized. I live in a condo with a cat. The layout is open-plan, 880 square feet, two bedrooms and one bath, designed so I can "age in place." My cat is a slob. Food particles, litter, cat hair, and litter dust are everywhere. Fortunately, floors are either wood or tile. The initial cleaning included washing the insides of all windows. They sparkle. The wood and tile gleam, as do the stainless steel appliances. Even with all the work she did, Enya took a little time to get acquainted with and play with the cat, who was supervising. I'm very satisfied with Fresh Tech Maid and happy that Enya cleaned my home. I'm on a bi-weekly schedule and Enya will be coming again. Great! read more

I wanted to treat my parents to a move-in clean for their new condo. They ended up needing it much sooner than expected. I was able to book FTM on a Saturday afternoon for a Tuesday morning clean. On Sunday, the company reached out via text as well as called to confirm. They were beyond kind and accommodating throughout the process and my parents were thrilled with the service. We have been using Fresh Tech for a few months now and it has improved our quality of life. It is hard to find time or motivation to keep cleaning up after your children after getting home from work. With the help of Crystal, who is phenomenal, we are able to keep a cleaner baseline and the house looks like a million dollars after Crystal is done with it. She is just really good at what she does and is kind and easy to talk to. She is also great with my dog! The lack of the 5th star is because I felt the service was a bit pricey for my 2 bedroom apartment (full disclosure I paid for additional services but still seemed pricey). Ashley was great. I actually felt a bit guilty about our second bedroom, we are currently downsizing and planning to make it into a nursery, it was a wreck! I told her to do what she could in there but that I wasn't expecting much. I was shocked to see how clean and organized Ashley got that room! Fresh Tech Maid's exceptional customer service prevented a near disastrous situation for me! Take a breath and enjoy my story: My new apartment lease was to start on a Monday morning, and I scheduled Fresh Tech Maid to come on that Monday morning at 9am. The landlord informed me the previous tenant would be moved out by Sunday. So Sunday afternoon I went to check the progress of the move-out and found the previous tenant sitting in the living room full of boxes and other stuff, happily watching TV!!! She casually said she would move out tomorrow (Monday) morning by noon. Which meant there was no way I could have the Fresh Tech Maid come and had to reschedule. Sunday 4pm I started frantically calling, texting, emailing Fresh Tech Maid, knowing that the chance of replying was slim since usually businesses are closed on Sundays. The hassle of rescheduling was extremely stressful as it was holiday therefore busier week, so hotel prices were higher than usual too (I was planning to have some family move in the Monday after the cleaning). Amazingly Sue actually answered my text!!! She immediately notified the maids, and started calling clients that had Monday afternoon cleanings to switch with me. After many exchanges, she found a client that was able to switch with me. The feeling of relief and gratefulness was something I'll remember for the rest of my life! Remember it was a Sunday afternoon! How many other businesses could reply to you within 30 minutes, and spend a few hours helping you resolve a problem on a Sunday afternoon?!! Monday afternoon two Fresh Tech Maids arrived on time and did an excellent job cleaning with de-ionized water, totally toxic free, great for my young children. It was a 1100 sqft apartment and they cleaned the blinds and cabinets, which a lot of other cleaning services don't do. They spent about 3 hours. High recommended!! read more

The team has proven extremely difficult to get ahold of - both via email and phone. I'm trying to book a simple move-in grade cleaning and reached out with more than enough time prior to the requested date of service. I'm now using Yelp in an effort to get their attention - though there are plenty of competing services, at this point, I should consider moving forward with a different cleaning company. I'm discouraged by their lack of effort to be efficient business partners and make this an easy process to book a cleaning even though they position themselves that way in their voicemail.
