I've been complaining for over ten years that our closest Thai food was 20+ minutes away. I am so thankful that someone heard my pleas and opened up this little slice of heaven. The mother/daughter duo from Providence Village who runs Fresh Thai is awesome! The food is fantastic! I would say definitely in my top three Thai places in DFW. My wife and I are vegan and try to minimize oil in our diet. We ordered Veg. Delight (with tofu) with minimal oil. The waiter misunderstood and only brought us one serving. When we saw the portion and since we had a big lunch we split one serving it was just enough. Excellent meal, veggies were lightly cooked and very little oil. Very healthy. Love their brown sauce. Service was very good. Like the BYOB policy. I love to wash down a spicy meal with a cold brew. I look forward to our next meal. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It never gets old I could eat it everyday. Their pad Thai and lo mein are my favorites. The best thing about this restaurant is they have a spicy level I hate spicy food versus my fiancé who loves it. He orders the sesame chicken super spicy every time. Is there much on the 380 corridor? No. This is the little Asian joint that could! It is very much the only place serving this cuisine for miles, and their pad see ew is solid. It's always quiet for dine in, but glasses are full and service is prompt. From what I can tell, it's a family run place, abandoned everyone is working hard! I'm giving two stars because, although the food was good, the customer service was very poor. I was asked for a tip before being seated or served. When I requested to speak with the owner about this, I was informed that the owner had just left and was unavailable. Instead, the counter staff called the same server who had asked for the tip, who then claimed to be the manager and part-owner. She insisted that all customers are required to leave a tip and noted that none was included on the receipt. I explained that I prefer to leave a tip in cash after I've been served. Additionally, my order was incorrect, and we received room-temperature water instead of the cold water we requested. I shared my disappointment with the service and their practices. We enjoy their food, so I hope they improve their customer service so we can continue to visit. read more

Food was good to me, my BF didn't enjoy his. He said the orange chicken tasted like Chicken nuggets with An orangeish sauce... as other yelpers have mentioned they're stingy with the portions, the rice especially. Drunken noodles were yummy to me. Will try again but may have to convince my BF. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews so keep that in mind. I came and ordered food during my lunch I got orange chicken with fried rice to go. The service was good at first and the environment was nice. I went to the restroom and by the time I came out my food was ready, which is perfect so I sat down and started eating! halfway through my food I turn and ask the front cashier lady for some water she then proceeds to starts complaining that I ordered food to go so I need to leave the restaurant and not sit down and eat she says that if I was going to eat here that I needed to order food for here and not to go. Am I wrong to order food to go but eat inside the restaurant? I am a technician and get short breaks so knowing I won't have time to finish my food i always just get my orders to go and this is THE only place I've ever had an issue with. Worst customer service. Dont even try to order food from here they dont know how to talk to customer and surely will mess ur order or not take it. The audacity to talk rudely to customer is amazing.I would ban this restaurant. Best Thai food in the area by far! We dined in and the restaurant was clean and they where so nice and quick! We had pad Thai and we also got the crab Rangoon everything was beyond fresh and so good! Amazing Thai food. We always get the basil fried rice with beef, and the yellow curry with chicken. We always order an extra side of white rice for the yellow curry. No matter how much spice we ask for, it's moderately spicy at best even when asking for 10/5 spicy. Otherwise everything is great, especially with all extra chili sauce. read more

I have ordered from here quite a few times over the years. I ordered wonton Soup, Thai dumplings and Drunken Noodles last night. I ate the wonton and dumplings but saved the noodles to eat today, Just reheated in the microwave and found not one... but many large egg shells all in my food. Second time coming here and I really was craving pho. This was the closest place to get something. I ordered the pho with beef. Wow, that was a mistake. Along with the normal thin slices of beef they added roast beef. That's a pretty distinctive flavor and look. I guess the thought was who would notice?? Maybe ran out of the thin slices of raw beef? This is a fantastic restaurant! Everything I've had here is delicious, but the Thai potstickers are especially good. They are very different than the traditional Chinese potstickers and in my opinion they are much better. You should absolutely try these. My other favorites at fresh Thai is the papaya salad and the Thai basil chicken. If you ask for it five spicy they believe you and they do make it spicy. I love it that way! read more

I called and placed an order for an item on the menu, and they laughed at me and said that this was not something they offer. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. AFter reading the great reviews I convinced my husband to try a new Thai restaurant than our usual favorite since this one is closer to home. Our order was completely wrong- we ordered chicken fried rice , no Spice and chicken pad see ew- what we received was shrimp spicy level 2 fried rice abs shrimp pad see ew.
