F2O never disappoints with there good food and friendly staff. I'm partial to the Bourbon salmon panini. If you love a good panini I highly suggest F2O. The corn chowder soup is excellent as well. First time visit. I order the pick 2 - Waldorf chicken salad panini and chicken tortilla soup. Both were great! Good flavor, not heavy. You even receive a mini croissant with a bit of honey baked in. They have many choices for lunch - salads, soups, panini's, etc. Very clean and bathroom was in tip top shape. The only suggestion for improvement would be the length of time it takes to get through the lunch line. Delicious and fresh food. The healthy vibe is about quality ingredients rather than low calories. So, choose wisely if that's an important aspect as that info isn't on their menus (it can be found online). For starters I had a cup of creamy chicken vegetable soup while my wife had their lentil soup and both were flavorful. For entrees I had the bison burger, and contrary to the menu description it had cranberries on it. It didn't ruin the sandwich's flavor, but I found it shocking nevertheless as I have a friend who is allergic to them. Soft drinks are by the can/bottle, so we opted for the mango lemonade and found it excellent. The staff were friendly and alert, even though it's an order-at-the-counter type of establishment. The seating is modern but comfortable. There is outdoor seating on either side with the south patio's trellis mercifully shaded by greenery. We saw a lot of to-go orders being filled while we dined and their online/app ordering appears to be a significant part of their ecosystem that I'll have to investigate because I very much intend to return. read more

Great salads. Cannot recommend the soup. The cream of mushroom tastes dirty and the tomato bisque soup taste like italian marinara sauce that someone poured sugar in. But lots of good selections otherwise. I order the salad with the apples and other stuff but always get a side of prime grilled steak for a few bucks which ups the protein value. There was food all over the floor like it hadn't been swept all day + food particles on the seats and walls. It makes you wonder, if the front of house is this dirty what does the back of house look like? The entrees were delicious. Everything we ordered was seasoned just right, was cooked really well and plated beautifully. However, our dessert pies were only so so. Our entrees come out in 10 minutes, our pies, which we ordered separately, took 40 minutes to bring out and tasted like ice cream pies taken directly from the grocery store freezer. They werent fully thawed when we got them. As for the service, it was inconsistent. Most of the staff were very polite and attentive but the server who brought out our meals was kind of rude. There was a mixup on how our order was taken and she seemed annoyed that i was questioning what was brought out. Our server told us that we should have double checked our receipt and she explicitly said it was our fault not the person taking the order. Even if that was the case she didn't have to be rude about it. Incidentally, I am positive that I gave the order correctly because my kids have food allergies and the person who rang us up told us that she would make sure the food was prepared correctly. Initially, it wasnt. Despite these minor annoyances, I still give this restaurant high marks for how good the entrees were and because my bad service experience was limited to a single person. Maybe she had a bad day. We ordered the coconut curry salmon, mushroom chicken, the almond crusted chicken skewers, grilled salmon kids meal and chicken tender kids meal. Also the variety of their brewed teas and lemonades was impressive. We sampled most and thoroughly enjoyed all we tried, especially the Sweet Granny Smith apple tea. Great value. read more

I just now walked in, didn't dare eat here. Floor was very noticeably dirty throughout. Dirt, lids, paper, etc. There was only one table occupied and I noticed several others dirty. One employee was leaning/sitting behind the counter and jumped up when he saw me. I said "never mind" and walked back out. I would be very wary of consuming food from here. Delicious food and excellent service! At first it may seem expensive for a self-service restaurant, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Every bite was delicious. I had the bison burger and grit cake, hubby had salmon and sweet potatoes. Both kids cleaned their plates as well (if you have toddlers you know this is a miracle). Well, I have been to several of the locations and I must say that this one is my favorite. Why? The service. Even when I have had a hiccup, they manage to rectify it immediately... love that. I do want to give special mention to a young lady named Robin/Robyn...not sure of the spelling. One of the managers, a woman was simply horrible to me last week. I believe she is new because I had never seen her before. To make a long story short, she was rude and laughed in my face (in front of other employees) as I tried to explain that I had driven a long way for the appetizer special (I was 3 minutes late for it)She said something like, "next time drive faster..." I was so embarrassed and wanted to end my relationship with Fresh to Order. When Robin saw this, she called me over, apologized and took my order. She even brought my food out personally, refilled my beverage and continued to check on me throughout the meal. She was absolutely amazing. I just got the Mediterranean with Almond crusted Ahi Tuna! They customized it to fit my Ketogenic diet. I had an issue with my previous referral and the manager Robyn immediately took care of things today and even remembered me and my previous order. Healthy food, fresh with extremely friendly staff and fun 80s vibe music playing. Very nice lunch in my busy hectic work day. We have eaten in the restaurant several times and have really enjoyed it. However, this last time we ordered take out, and we weren't quite as satisfied. Some of the issues were: 1. We ordered on the Yelp app, and they hadn't received the order when I arrived, but it did come in after I placed a new order at the cash register. 2. While our past orders eaten in the restaurant were tasty and looked very appetizing, the take out order was skimpy looking, and anything but appetizing looking. 3. When you order chips as a side order in the restaurant, it is a nice portion of fresh baked chips. The to-go order had a tiny bag of lays potato chips! So I give them 4 stars for dining in the restaurant, 2 stars for take out orders, for an average of 3 stars. While we will probably eat at the restaurant again, needless to say, we will never order take out from there ever again. read more

I had a horrible case of food poisoning after dining here a few days ago. The next day, I notified the restaurant as I wanted to make sure that all steps necessary were taken to make sure that no one else had to endure the effects that I had lived through for twenty-four hours. I spoke to a young lady who said that someone would contact me within "an hour or two." I never heard from them again. I've been to F20 at Cumberland and Sandy Springs in the past. The menu was good, lots of choices. The food was okay but for whatever reason, I never added it to my restuarant rotation. I went the East Cobb location today and OH MY GOODNESS. It was packed (no available parking) but there was no wait. I ordered the lime shrimp small plate and salad. It was AMAZING! I didn't eat the house salad because I was full from that. I tasted it and ate the sweet bread...AWESOME. They didn't have a soda machine (fine with me because I don't drink soda unless natural with no HFCS) but they have a variety of custom drinks. I will try next time. I will bring my 7yo son (the real food critic) to see if it gets put in the rotation. He has mature tastebuds (red onion, mushrooms, balsamic vinaigrette are his favorites and he doesn't eat mac/cheese, nuggets, grilled cheese) so this should suit him well. I love this place! I think I may have found my new lunch place :). I had the Asian chicken crunch panini with the chicken tortilla soup. The staff here is very friendly and attentive - they want you to have a great dining experience. The only thing I didn't like is that the chicken tortilla soup isn't really a chicken tortilla soup. As another reviewer mentioned, it's very thin and brothy and it lacks the spicy quality that most chicken tortilla soups have. It's still pretty good as a soup but I don't think I would call it a chicken tortilla soup. My lunch came out to $8.90. I'll definitely be coming back. read more
