I have been looking for a Chinese place near by that has great quality food. I decided to order through DoorDash, very affordable even with all the fees and tip and delivery estimated at under 30 min on a Saturday afternoon those were part of the selling points for me. I've had really bad Chinese food near by and I had to throw it away because it was that bad. My food arrived in 30 min and at first look it was impressive! I ordered a plate with orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, chow mein and two veggie egg rolls. I shared with my daughter and husband and they loved it! They wanted more. Wow this place was soooo delicious!! I read some reviews before coming and was a little skeptical but I just found my new favorite spot!! The staff was friendly, I told her I was pescatarian so I can only eat veggies and fish, so anything you see on display you can make into a tofu/shrimp(made to order) dish! I got half fried rice and half chow mein, I got jalapeño shrimp made to order, super yummy zucchini with bell peppers and fresh shrimp! The chow mein was delicious, fried rice was good not the greatest. Also ordered some veggie egg rolls which were perfectly cooked! Terrible food! I couldn't wait to try this place and I am so disappointed. There is always a line out the door and I need a new Chinese place so today I decided to splurge and have it delivered; terrible mistake! Literally everything on the plate had no flavor! The fried rice was the worst, tasted like frozen food. The chow mein had no flavor and was just noodles no vegetables at all. Orange chicken was supposed to be spicy but wasn't and even as regular orange chicken there was just no flavor and gummy! The broccoli from the beef and broccoli was the only thing edible because the beef again tasted like nothing. Even the wontons were cold inside and my fortune cookie came crushed and no chop sticks. HAIR IN MY FOOD!!!! 3 months ago I ordered the kung pao shrimp which had to be cooked to order. For starters the lady told me it would take five minutes. They were a little busy so it ended up taking close to 15 minutes. It wasn't a big deal since we had plates already made and we were dining in. While speaking of the plates we had, the food here has fallen off big time. It was very close to the quality of Golden Chopsticks (which apparently this place is somehow related) but now it seems like they may have new cooks who aren't as talented. For example, some of my grilled chicken was still bloody and not fully cooked. Back to the Kung Pao shrimp. After 15 minutes the lady says it ready. I opened up the containers and dumped some onto our plates. After eating one shrimp I grabbed the container to dump the remaining food onto my plate and Lo and behold!! A nice long straight hair. I'm African American so I know it's not from me. After feeling completely disgusted, I took all of our food back. The lady offered to remake everything including the plates we already half eaten but I was over it. Got a refund and hit the road. Blah!! Update!! Today, against my better judgement, I wanted to give this place a second chance. We all deserve em right?! WRONG!! Not this place. Holy smokes, how could this place get any worse?! Well, I ordered steamed rice, chow mein and grilled chicken. How could you mess that up?! Well the steamed rice was the highlight Hahahaha The chow mein was gummy and the chicken was sitting in a metal tin that's used for storing food. (Not the usual hot pan) The chicken didn't have the fresh black grill marks like usual. So what that tells me is they're serving day old chicken. And I'm sure that chow mein was day old chow mein as well. I know this was during a coronavirus crisis but you can still make fresh food. I'm never coming back!! read more

The spicy orange chicken was dry. Average Chinese food. With the Yelp check in you can either get an egg roll or literally one wonton! Okay, so I was in the area and was craving some bomb Chinese food, and my colleague told me to stop by this place and try there, and I was like okay. When I got Here I was a little scared lol, because of the area but I learned Bertie never to judge a book by its cover. Yet again i was right this place was bomb, like amazing, the best. The customer service was A+, the restaurant was very clean, and it was packed with so many people, you can tell it was a good fast food Chinese restaurant. They have two different kinds of orange chicken, Spicy and regular and they both are bomb and amazing, you must try it. They have the freshest chow mein I have ever had, and there portion sizes are huge, they really do give you enough for two meals. I really can not stop talking about this place but look you must try it for yourself and I promise you will love it. If not I'll pay for your meal. We moved to Fontana last year and this spot is one of the best Chinese take out spots we've come across in the area. We've tried a few others and have to say we are pleased with Fresh Wok. Good food, good service. They are open during the pandemic and practice social distancing on their restaurant by having customers make a line outside. The ladies are all nice and service is fast. A doordash experience: After waiting for like a 30 minutes My dasher made the mistake of picking up a pizza and not my chinese food(not sure how that happens but whatever lol) I reordered again through the dash app but my order must have been sitting there for what i wanna say a while hour.
