When you first walk in, the vibe is nice. clean space, colorful mural on the wall, and an easy to read menu with plenty of options that looked promising. Unfortunately, the food fell completely flat. I ordered tacos (al pastor and beer-battered fish), and I wouldn't order them again. The al pastor was dry, rough, and lacked any real flavor. I couldn't even finish mine and ended up giving it to my younger sister, who ate it only because she was hungry after school. The fish taco was just as disappointing .. no crispiness to the batter and barely any flavor to hold onto. Service was fine, nothing memorable or particularly welcoming. Overall, the environment felt just "okay." Between the bland food, lackluster tacos, and average service, I personally wouldn't return or recommend this place to others.

Got the la cabana torta and it was bomb. It was huge too so I'm glad I shared it . Try their Fresca too

Chicken enchilada, and cheese enchilada, with red sauce, beans and rice, and a horchata. Sooooooo goooood

Holy shinoli the enchiladas in red sauce are stupid good. That sauce is on point. And the pass my litmus with fantastic beans and rice (especially the rice... So good). The service was quick, and delightfully friendly. Definitely high on my list for quality Mexican food. Come try it, and let me know what you think.

Ordered some food to go (salad and juice) Also, when inside the store picking up my food, I purchased guacamole (which was sour and watery) - will not order the guacamole ever again - I've ordered it in the past and it was solid and fresh everyday , not sure what happened this time ???

4 oz of mexican rice for $3.55 at Freshco

I really like Freshco's fish tacos and want to keep supporting them as a local spot. But today I was honestly shocked when I was charged $3.55 for about 4 oz of Mexican rice (see photo). Just down the street at Fantastic you can get 16 oz for the same price. I understand food costs have gone up, but 4 oz mexican rice in a ranch container for 3.55...I just can't get behind. Hoping the owner sees this because the food is great, but the pricing on some items makes zero sense.

Ordered the Incredible Hulk (Protein smoothie) and the Vampire (Smoothie), both were super good! Great after a workout! Super refreshing! Also ordered a steak fajita breakfast burrito since I wanted to try their food. I would say it was pretty good! Very big and filling too, def worth it. Came with eggs, steak, cheese, bell peppers, and onions. They also gave a side of red and green salsa. I definitely enjoyed the red sauce more! Overall gotta try!

    1. The smoothies were delicious! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! 3. Indoor and outdoor seatings are available! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my drinks! 5. Parking is easy since the lot does not get crowded! Note: You can request No Sugar Added to the smoothie so you would only get the natural sweetness! Carne Asada Burrito but asked for wet burrito

Love this place!! This place serves amazing mexican food! Came here on a weekday and had a lunch break around 10:30am. Nothing was really open except here! Glad this place opens early! I love the various food options here. In a single week, came here 3 times because food is amazing. Got wet burrito twice and got two tacos combo one time. Good taste great and portion size is good! A bit pricey but it's all worth it. Interior is clean and modern. Staffs were very friendly and when you dine-in, they bring the food to you. There's plenty of parking spaces outside, you will never see it full. Really good mexican food here and I could eat here everyday.

Black out toxins (smoothie) w/ activated charcoal

Hidden in a unassuming strip mall Westminster is this great mix of healthy and heart hazardous food items all under one roof. You can get fruit smoothies, vegan items, and fresh salads. You can also get carne asada burritos with Hot Cheetos stuffed inside them and birria tacos with cups of au jus. I got the Blackout Toxins smoothie with fresh fruit and activated charcoal. I also got a pulpo taco (octopus) and a birria taco to round out my diet. The pulpo taco was the most surprising. Fresh octopus with onions, cilantro, and cheese in a fluffy corn tortilla. It was $4.99, but the size of this one and the quesabirria tacos were really large. They were like mini burritos. Definitely a value. The birria was rich, juicy, tender and full of flavor. I dipped it before each bite, but the taco itself was enough on its own. I can't believe I have been driving past this place for many other overpriced options in the OC. This place is my new go-to spot for Mexican food and mariscos. Can't wait to try the shrimp cocktails on my next visit.

I decided to give this place a try because the photos looked great. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but I ordered a rice chicken bowl. What I got was basically a salad--with just a spoonful of rice and the rest filled with lettuce. If they were out of rice, they could have let me know, and I would've understood, but instead, they served it to me like this without saying anything.

The açaí bowl was extremely delicious 10/10. I will for sure be back. The campechana fries were 10/10. The service was quick the server was very polite they were not busy. So if you go when it's busy you might have a longer wait. (Obviously)

Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee.
