Got the la cabana torta and it was bomb. It was huge too so I'm glad I shared it . Try their Fresca too

Chicken enchilada, and cheese enchilada, with red sauce, beans and rice, and a horchata. Sooooooo goooood

Holy shinoli the enchiladas in red sauce are stupid good. That sauce is on point. And the pass my litmus with fantastic beans and rice (especially the rice... So good). The service was quick, and delightfully friendly. Definitely high on my list for quality Mexican food. Come try it, and let me know what you think.

Guacamole 8oz was sour and watery

Ordered some food to go (salad and juice) Also, when inside the store picking up my food, I purchased guacamole (which was sour and watery) - will not order the guacamole ever again - I've ordered it in the past and it was solid and fresh everyday , not sure what happened this time ???

Ordered the Incredible Hulk (Protein smoothie) and the Vampire (Smoothie), both were super good! Great after a workout! Super refreshing! Also ordered a steak fajita breakfast burrito since I wanted to try their food. I would say it was pretty good! Very big and filling too, def worth it. Came with eggs, steak, cheese, bell peppers, and onions. They also gave a side of red and green salsa. I definitely enjoyed the red sauce more! Overall gotta try!

4 oz of mexican rice for $3.55 at Freshco

I really like Freshco's fish tacos and want to keep supporting them as a local spot. But today I was honestly shocked when I was charged $3.55 for about 4 oz of Mexican rice (see photo). Just down the street at Fantastic you can get 16 oz for the same price. I understand food costs have gone up, but 4 oz mexican rice in a ranch container for 3.55...I just can't get behind. Hoping the owner sees this because the food is great, but the pricing on some items makes zero sense.

    1. The smoothies were delicious! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! 3. Indoor and outdoor seatings are available! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my drinks! 5. Parking is easy since the lot does not get crowded! Note: You can request No Sugar Added to the smoothie so you would only get the natural sweetness! Carne Asada Burrito but asked for wet burrito

Love this place!! This place serves amazing mexican food! Came here on a weekday and had a lunch break around 10:30am. Nothing was really open except here! Glad this place opens early! I love the various food options here. In a single week, came here 3 times because food is amazing. Got wet burrito twice and got two tacos combo one time. Good taste great and portion size is good! A bit pricey but it's all worth it. Interior is clean and modern. Staffs were very friendly and when you dine-in, they bring the food to you. There's plenty of parking spaces outside, you will never see it full. Really good mexican food here and I could eat here everyday.

Black out toxins (smoothie) w/ activated charcoal

Hidden in a unassuming strip mall Westminster is this great mix of healthy and heart hazardous food items all under one roof. You can get fruit smoothies, vegan items, and fresh salads. You can also get carne asada burritos with Hot Cheetos stuffed inside them and birria tacos with cups of au jus. I got the Blackout Toxins smoothie with fresh fruit and activated charcoal. I also got a pulpo taco (octopus) and a birria taco to round out my diet. The pulpo taco was the most surprising. Fresh octopus with onions, cilantro, and cheese in a fluffy corn tortilla. It was $4.99, but the size of this one and the quesabirria tacos were really large. They were like mini burritos. Definitely a value. The birria was rich, juicy, tender and full of flavor. I dipped it before each bite, but the taco itself was enough on its own. I can't believe I have been driving past this place for many other overpriced options in the OC. This place is my new go-to spot for Mexican food and mariscos. Can't wait to try the shrimp cocktails on my next visit.

I decided to give this place a try because the photos looked great. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but I ordered a rice chicken bowl. What I got was basically a salad--with just a spoonful of rice and the rest filled with lettuce. If they were out of rice, they could have let me know, and I would've understood, but instead, they served it to me like this without saying anything.

The açaí bowl was extremely delicious 10/10. I will for sure be back. The campechana fries were 10/10. The service was quick the server was very polite they were not busy. So if you go when it's busy you might have a longer wait. (Obviously)

It was our first time eating here, and even though they were busy, the short wait was completely worth it. The service was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and efficient despite the morning rush. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. I ordered the fried egg breakfast sandwich, and it was an absolute hit. Perfectly cooked egg, flavorful ingredients, and paired with their seasoned house potatoes, it was everything you want in a hearty breakfast. Simple, satisfying, and done really well. The tables and chairs are fairly old and well used. Our server had little to no words for us, which was fine. She gave us a kind look. We had ordered a breakfast burritos, eggs, bacon, coffees all around, and an omelette. The food came out a few minutes later. Very quick, but hot and crisp. I wasn't a fan of my latte and their house coffee was a bit watery. I did enjoy my breakfast burrito and bacon. My dad enjoyed his breakfast platter, too. My fiancé's omelette was okay and wasn't fantastic. We finished our meal rather quickly and left. It's nice to have a local breakfast restaurant that has been well loved by the neighboring residents. Definitely will be back again.

This most recent visit (it was several few months ago now), my boyfriend and I were seated by the window. After we put in our orders, we saw this HUGE ASS COCKROACH crawling on the window and basically edging onto our table. We got an employee's attention and let them know about the cockroach, and the employee basically just grabbed a napkin and snatched it, and I got the vibe that he was used to it lmao. Then he walked away. Another server asked us if we wanted to move to a different table and obviously we did. I feel like at that point I should've walked out but we had already put our orders in and I didn't really want to make a scene. It was hard to finish our food tbh just because of what we'd seen. We also paid full price =_= I have never asked to be comped at a restaurant in my entire life, but I felt like they should have offered to cover our drinks or something because we both got coffee. My family and I have always been loyal customers, we always tip generously, and we have never given this establishment a reason to treat us with anything but respect. Today, that streak ended. Instead of seating us, they made all 9 of us stand right next to literally 10 wide-open seats for over 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the staff kept giving us looks that made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. In over a decade, we have never been made to feel like a burden here until today. It wasn't cool, and it completely ruined what is usually a great family tradition. It hurts to say this after 10 years of loyalty, but if you have a big party, don't go here. It wasn't that busy yet but after a few minutes, large group of people started showing up. We did have a reservation prior. The cafe is really nice, pretty big and spacious. All of the staff are really nice. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main dish to share. I love getting their cloud matcha latte, it has this sweet and salty earthy taste that I love. My bf got the marble coffee, he said it was pretty good as well. Then we had calamari, spicy wontons and THE DAO. Calamari was plentiful in serving, comes with a sauce and I really liked their sauce, it has citrusy taste. The spicy wontons are a crowd favorite as well for me. It definitely puts it on the top spot of spicy wontons I've tried from other spots. THE DAO (yes, it needed the caps lock on the name), this is my top appetizer from this cafe. The first time I tried it, I was craving it for a while. Some people might say it's a simple appetizer, but for me it's the taste and flavor that put it on the top spot. For the main dish we had Xo Chien, it's a crispy rice with pork floss, egg, chinese sausage. It's a delightful dish, and the flavor and texture is pretty nice as well. My bf loves this dish. Definitely recommend going here for a brunch. Can't wait to come back and try their menu for lunch and dinner.

Back Again... and Somehow This Fusion Spot Still Hits!…read more Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend, and this is one of those spots I somehow end up visiting about once a year. Usually, when you revisit a restaurant after some time, you start noticing the quality slipping a little... but nope. This place has officially hit FOUR times in a row! Dry Bun Bo Hue -- $21 | 8.8/10 Although it says "dry," there's actually about 2 tablespoons of broth hiding at the bottom, and LET ME TELL YOU... that sauce is where the magic happens! It has this amazing sweet, spicy, slightly sour aroma that coats every noodle and pairs so well with the chopped beef. The noodles were cooked perfectly, too. I haven't had this since last June, so I was definitely a happy girl. Just squeeze a whole lemon over the top and BOOM--perfection! Squid & Mango Salad -- $16 | 8.5/10 So fresh and refreshing! The squid wasn't overly cooked or rubbery, and the mango had just the right amount of sweetness. Add in the peanuts, pickled veggies, herbs, and that sesame cracker for some crunch... and YES PLEASE! Such a fun combination of flavors and textures. Bun Ca -- $17 | 7/10 My girlfriend ordered this one, and I had to sneak a bite, of course. It's a fish noodle dish that was good, but I felt like it was missing that extra flavor element to really make it pop. Since this is a newer dish, I can definitely see them tweaking it and making it even better! Mango Sticky Rice -- $9 | 7.8/10 A little sweeter than my personal preference, but that purple sticky rice with the creamy sauce and fresh baby coconut?! DIVINE. The combination was seriously delicious--I just wish it had been slightly less sweet. And shoutout to Thomas, our waiter, who was so sweet and kind and took great care of us! What I love most is that I'm not even a huge fan of fusion food, yet somehow this place continues to impress me every single time I come back. Four visits later and they're still holding their own! Definitely one of my favorite spots, and if you're curious about their other concepts, definitely check out their other restaurants too! Beautiful ambiance and decor. Happy EATS!
