The Fresh Healthy Cafe concept: Motto " Wholesome Good Food", food that ranges on the menu are wraps, paninis, beyond burger, smoothies, juices, power bowls, protein salad bowl, signature bowls, organic iced teas, and soups. They do have options for making it a meal deal as well. I'm by far a healthy eater and love scoping out "health options" that are fresh, quick with reasonable standard pricing. They even offer a kids menu, never too late to teach your kids to eat healthy. All menu items are made fresh no matter what your order. All COVID guidelines were followed, their open kitchen concept and space in the location, reminded me of one of Gordon Ramsey restaurants. We happened to be in the Galleria Mall and went to Fresh Healthy Café for lunch. Have never been there before. I ordered a Fresh Squeeze orange juice for $7. This thin semi-tall African American young lady (I think wearing glasses) ran back and forth trying to manually squeeze the oranges to trying to use the automate Orange squeeze machine which didn't work. While the store was on/off busy due to lunch time and holiday rush, I was just shocked how many staff just looked the other way when she was begging for help. She could have easily given up and came to me and said the machine is broken or please order something else. She did not become discouraged when no one would help her. She didn't lose sight that customer has been waiting for 20min. She even apologized for the wait. She just kept trying to find a solution no matter what. Eventually she went back to the large automated Orange Squeeze machine, re-read the instructions and success! The machine worked!!!! She learned that larger oranges did NOT fit and jammed the machine. This young lady took the initiative to learn, to overcome and move forward when no one would help her, to have the humility to genuinely apologize for a delay and she never once gave up! She truly has the making of a great leader! If we had our own company I would hire her immediately! After nearly 25 minutes she gave me the juice and again apologized. My wife and I gave her a $20 tip! We are sad and we didn't get her name and only snapped the picture of the store as we left.

The total was about $15 for four scoops, and a small upcharge for the waffle cone. This is great value! The flavors were so good we were already making plans to return by the time we left. A word about the layout: There are chair on the front lawn; the front porch and inside have tables and chairs. A single unisex bathroom serves everyone; in summer there can be a line. Most of the people there at that hour were young families; the strollers and prams parked near the stairs. Is there anything cuter than seeing a toddler enjoying an ice cream?
