Things to get: fresh orange juice, acai bowl, bowl full of watermelon. Clean location and good customer service. I love how they always have cold water on the side to help yourself with. It's really refreshing on the hot days. The only thing that can be inconvenient at times is that it takes a long time to prep the food, but it's fresh and they make most of the juices by hand so that's understandable. 9/10 would recommend. read more

Underwhelming. We stumbled on this while walking for coffee. We were the only people in there still took more than 20 mins to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich! Man behind the counter felt like he wanted to be anywhere but work. Food and coffee was okay but feel there is probably better places around. read more

First time trying Freshería. The order was to go. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. There is literally no pesto or even pesto like flavor anywhere. The sandwich is a bust. The side salad saved the review because it is pretty tasty. Another person in my group ordered soup which happened to spill all over the order. Not basing any of the review on that because I'm not sure if it was the packaging or what but not a great thing to deal with. read more

Quick and friendly service and DELICIOUS food. I got the vegan breakfast burrito and my husband got the chicken wrap. He says it was everything he expects a delicious wrap to be. Have I mentioned he's extremely picky? My vegan breakfast burrito is made with soy chorizo and let me tell you it was delicious. Definitely would recommend this place. It's very affordable, clean, and we felt totally safe going there in this crazy time of COVID-19. read more

This is the second time they completely missed out on-line/phone-in orders. Ordered on line at 11:25 for 12:00 pickup. Once I got there at 12:05, it took the people 10 minutes to find out that they didn't make it. They said that they the order came in "after" I arrived. This is a restaurant with 4 locations. This was my first time here and my experience was amazing. Oswaldo took my order with a smile, was very helpful and provided great customer service. I ordered the Soy Chorizo Breakfast Burrito which was fire and the salsa is on point. The chorizo has excellent flavor as well. If you haven't tried this place then you are missing out on great service and high quality fresh food. Highly recommended! read more

It's really in the name. Everything here is made fresh, tastes fresh, and makes you feel fresh. They have a wide variety of healthy offerings such as wraps, sandwiches, salads, smoothies and even classic Mexican snacks such as tostilocos, chamango, aguachiles, and sincronizadas. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu as every single bite my family and I had was amazing. For drinks I had a cool, tart Pitaya smoothie, my sister had a refreshing Watermelon Mix smoothie, and my bro-in-law had an energizing frozen coffee. Bro got the shrimp aguachile which had a tangy, chunky and spicy green sauce that was to die for. I got the chicken wrap which came with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, grilled chicken and cheese - super simple, but very flavorful. My sister got the Mexican salad which had a ton of fresh ingredients (black beans, avocado, cheese, salsa, grilled chicken). Perfect food after an active day at the beach. A local resident of La Jolla recommended I try Be Fresh. From other reviews, the crab salad looked good. I ordered it to-go, along with a fruit salad. The service was fine, and prices were fine. When I got to eating my salad, the lettuce on the bottom was frozen. I guess they had it sitting in the container; in the back of a fridge. I ate around it as much as I could. I'm sure the lettuce would have been fresh, if it was not frozen. Not sure if I'd go back. If I do, I'm sure I'd check the bottom of my take-out tray. read more

I love this place. I work down the street and am so thankful to have a unique family owned place so close by that serves fresh made food. I have tried a number of things here but I always come back to the ham, cheese, and avocado breakfast wrap or the chicken wrap. Their Tortas and ceviche are good too. The food matched with the nice staff, and good prizes makes this place one of my favorite go to spots. read more

This doesn't even deserve a one star review.I asked for a turkey and cheese sandwich and they gave me a burnt toast with overflowing shreds of turkey and their cheese was fake white chunky square cheese that looked like tofu.This sandwich was very sloppy .The bread had finger dents in it.The guy gave me attitude and didn't give my money back.My sandwich was 12$.The photo advertised is nothing like the sandwiches . I'm a total fan! I had the chicken salad with extra chicken. The salad looked beautiful and tasted better than I expected. The acai bowls looked amazing, unfortunately, I was not able to try one because I was so full from my salad. The only reason I'm giving four stars is that my partner had the turkey sandwich and it was not very appetizing. When the cashier brought it to us I mentioned it did not taste good and she only shrugged. I think she could have asked if we wanted something else. This place is a hidden gem. Although the parking lot is fairly small, there is parking on the streets nearby. When I first came to this place I had the intention of ordering an acai bowl, but when I found out they had other food besides acai bowls I ended up ordering something else. So my boyfriend and I both shared a chicken salad and a pitaya bowl. We ordered the items for here and it came in these cute wooden bowls with wooden spoons. The chicken salad was amazing!!! It had fresh grilled chicken breast, a spring mix, strawberries, pineapple, mango, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and a cranberry dressing. Everything tasted great together. The dressing was not too heavy and it went well with the fruit. The spring mix was fresh as well as the fruits. This item gets a 5/5. The pitaya bowl tasted good, but I just wish it wasn't melted when they gave us our order. When we received the pitaya bowl, the pitaya was all melted like soup. Everything else tasted great though, such as the bananas, granola, coconut shavings, and strawberries. The melted pitaya kinda ruined the bowl for us. I'd prefer ordering an acai bowl instead of a pitaya bowl. This item gets a 2/5. read more

Two thumbs up! So glad I stumbled across this place! Apparently they've only been open for 7 weeks, but I can only imagine their fan base to go up from here. I tried the "be fresh" smoothie, and it was delicious. Perfect texture and not too sour. They also give you the option to customize your smoothie, but I played it safe today. While my friend and I were waiting for our smoothies, the cashier surprised us with free Chamango samples! Although, I wouldn't consider them samples because she gave us a generous cup full. It was such a nice thing for her to do, and the Chamango was tasty! As for the space, it's huge! Plenty of seating, nice open concept with glass windows facing Pearl Street. I understand as a business you have to be strict about the bathroom and that is their policy however if it is a juice/coffee place your customers are bound to use the restroom several times especially if they are continuing to order. Unfortunately, It did turn me away to try the food which I actually was looking forward to as they did offer organic croissant sandwiches. We decided to just choose another place to order food. I'll have to think about returning as we are always in La Jolla for yoga.

I would have liked to have gotten more flavors out of the almond milk and coconut milk. The place doubles as a surf shop as well or doubles as a cafe as well. My work (Cadence Travel) had an employee luncheon today. We were looking for a local restaurant in La Jolla and one that delivered. Fresheria fit that to a "T". We ordered: Turkey Wrap (Catering 16 halves)-Turkey, Cheese, Avocado, Tomatoes Onion, Spinach & Chipotle Sauce - Spinach Tortilla Veggie Wrap (Catering 16 halves)- Black Beans, Queso Fresca, Avocado, Onions, Green Salsa & Spinach - Spinach Tortilla Caesar Chicken Salad- Chicken, Avocado, Tomato, Onion, Lettuce, Croutons, Parmesan Cheese & Caesar Dressing...on the side. We had a dozen employees in house today and there was plenty to go around. We could have ordered one of their catering wrap trays since the wraps are of a good size even if cut in half. I just wish they had a copy tray option. This was so fresh and tasted delicious! I had the Turkey wrap w/a side of the salad. I heard that the Veggie wrap was delicious as well. I have been coming here every other day ever since I started working in La Jolla Village back in June. They have the best smoothies and healthy lunch options in the entire neighborhood. The best part is that they are a small business, I would much rather give my hard earned money to them over some big box eatery. I have got my whole entire office addicted to their Green Power smoothie. It is the perfect afternoon snack that won't leave you feeling sluggish. For lunch I would highly recommend ordering one of their wraps. They have good sandwiches as well, but I always try and avoid the bread and go with a wrap. My favorite wraps are the Chicken Wrap and Turkey Wrap with their chipotle sauce. It is so good and so healthy! They also serve up some delicious salads. I love the Quinoa Shrimp Salas and the Apple Salad if I am just looking for a quick snack. I highly recommend checking out this spot if you live or work in the La Jolla Village area. The food was good and the customer service was great. I would highly recommend everyone to drop in and give this place a try. The new girl with the hoop earrings at the counter is the most helpful and customer oriented cashier, which in my opinion makes for a pleasant experience. The owner(s) should give this girl a raise. I just left the place, the staff is completely careless and soapy. The guy at the counter with the glasses is completely sleeping, the other one is in another world.
