My favorite Poke place in town! Unlike a lot of local poke places, this place doesn't pre mix the fish with other flavors so the bowls taste like one cohesive flavor and you are choosing your spice level. The fish is consistently fresh and I always pay for extra fish and add-ons. I eat here at least once every 2 weeks. Something changed in the last few months because my bowls are not as full as they used to be and they seem to be forgetting toppings more often then not. I hope they go back to the portions they used to give, otherwise I wont be spending $18 per bowl anymore. read more

There's so many toppings to choose from, and the price is the most reasonable compare to other poke spots in the area. Customer service is also great. Such kind and friendly workers. This used to be my go to poke spot but...Ordered the Salmon Don with left over scraps. First they said its like that and I told her Ive been here a few times, they admitted they were low on salmon but I saw a few orders after my order with salmon chunks so it doesn't make sense?!? The food here is amazing. Warning though do not try to ubereats them. I went today with a receipt of payment and the worker told me he had no order. I showed him confirmation and he didn't even offer to make my order at that point. He just shrugged me off and walked back to prepare food. The thing is I worked a 12 hour day and had 15 min to grab food which was why I pre ordered and paid ahead. This experience ruined my day as well as made my opinion of there merit drop from 5 to 3 stars. Now I have to go argue my payment with uber.... cool read more

Sadly disappointing after I dropped $19 for one regular bowl (with tip). The fish was still frozen and very mealy and tasteless. No brown rice option. The bowl was packed so tight it was really difficult to eat without everything falling out. The quality of the fish is the most important part of poke and this was just not at all what I would expect from a poke joint with such high reviews and that is the main reason for my poor review. I may try again some other time but there are other better poke options in town with all of our amazing Hawaiian and Japanese places, not to mention Uwijiamya. read more

Finally tried FreshFish Poke for the first time today. First impression was not great, no greeting, let the person know that it was my first time there so I'd like help and to be patient with me, all I got was blank stare and no response, not even a smile.. so I aimlessly order, guess that's my fault instead of just walking away at that point. There aren't many poke places around so I was hoping to get more guidance. I dont order from food trucks often either so idk if its typical to not have friendly/good service, but I would think they'd be more friendly than big corporation places. I dig this cart. Love the big cubes of fresh fish on the greens or rice. Or mixed. The toppings are also plenty. Wontons, seaweed salad, cucumber, avocado, cilantro, etc... pick and choose. i really like the spicy red miso. Not too creamy, nor over dressed. It's just right. Great flavors, fresh fish and sizable portions. Biggest portion of poke in Portland/Beaverton area for the price. It is $10.50 for a large bowl- which may be a little expensive to the eye- but the portions are bigger than other Poke places I have had anywhere in Oregon. Do not be mistaken though - even with a good price, the taste is also amazing. The blend of textures the toppings that you personally choose makes for a unqiue meal. You can also request for a taste of the sauces, and they are all for it. They may sometimes put too much sauce on the fish, but JUST ASK for less sauce! Done and done. This place have the best poke. The spicy salmon don has the right amount of heat and taste. The regular poke bowl can be customized and is always fresh, healthy and tasty. I asked for the habenero sauce with my Sensei Bowl. The sauce was almost entirely mayonnaise and completely overpowered the entire bowl (it didn't help that they completely dowsed it in the sauce). I recommend not having any sauce on the bowl, or just try a different food truck. read more

This is the second time I have come and both times they have run out of items. Today was the main base of rice. With business being turned away... very disappointing as I came here multiple times for the poke only. Now they closed early at 6:40 pm with a packed area full of people and great weather. My go to Poke! Having tried several poke places in the area, this is hand's down my fave. Everything is very fresh, they offer a wide variety of sides and toppings, and the price is fair.
