Rented a tux for a friend's wedding. Eveyone was very professional. We did a fitting and went back two days before the wedding to try on the tux's and it went very well. Glad there open on Sunday to return. The only problem I had was with the shoes one shoe lace was very short and one was to long. But you can't beat the price very reasonable. read more

Please read my review at the Brea location first. It's me I made it to Friar Tux just in the nick of time. When we walked in to my surprise Danny was the new manager at the Anaheim store. I was so relieved , that I got another opportunity to work with Danny on my sons suit. He was fabulous and he he noticed that the vest was too small when he had the vest ready for pick up we went up a second size and it fit perfectly. Danny was also by himself and working with four different customers at the time we walked in. He was calm and on the ball. I asked Danny if he could make sure the suit was unstitched and unfortunately all the pockets were stitched. Danny immediately got some scissors and started to un stitch all the pockets while he was helping all the other customers at the same time. He was amazing ,focused and knew exactly what to do. I recommend this store even if it's out of your way because Danny is just a superb manager and excellent at his job in customer service under pressure. This place is the WORST ! There is 7 grooms men in the court and I have received nothing but the worst experience ever. My 2 brothers and my uncle came in for sizing and paid in FULL $200 each for their suit RENTALS the lady taking their measurements was rushing and ends up mixing up the suit sizes ruining not just my uncles order but also my brothers order. In my opinion why can't you take your time so we can get it done correctly the first time. Not only did both my uncle and brother have to come again and waist time and gas to come in to correct the issue, but they also are super inefficient and TRIED to have my brother pay for his suit TWICE! He brought in his receipt which clearly states the details paid, and even says BALANCE DUE: $0.00! Only because the guy wanted to help other people who clearly came in after him did he LIE and say I have to look and pull up if you paid or not. My brother even pulled up his bank statement with the payment of $400.00 which is clearly two suit rentals and the man still didn't believe him. This place is very inefficient and unorganized. The other groomsmen said their suits were not properly tailored either. My advice is stay away from this place it is a HUGE HEADACHE. read more

My fiancee and I came in on a whimm one afternoon and were blown away by the customer service at this location. Our wedding is a few months down the road and we were looking at some options for my groomsmen. With over 200 guests on our tab we wanted to make sure my boys were on point and ready to make a statement with their suits. Fortunately for us Desie was there to guide us every step of the way. From the traditional to the outside of the box and unorthodox way of thinking, she was able to navigate us towards the perfect options not only for my groomsmen, but also for myself as the groom. I've used this place almost twice. 1st time was for my sons high school marching band tux. Service was horrible. Wasted 2 trips and 4 hours of my life. I complained to the school and we didn't use them after that. 4 years later for prom my son was given a large discount coupon . So I figured surely the service had improved. WRONG!!! Just as bad. Uncaring employees who ignore you. We walked out after standing around for 30 minutes and no one even greeting us. Really who's training these people? I'd rather spend more elsewhere. read more

They we're extremely busy, it was getting close to closing time and the 2 could not have been more courteous, helpful, extremely professional and polite. Mohammad picked out the perfect suit and fitting for me and it looked amazing after trying on the complete outfit, fitted me to the tee, looked and felt like a million bucks! He kept saying my pleasure even though I know how busy and tired he was and took pride in his profession. Never rushing. Went for a wedding only because the bride and groom used this place for the bride and groomsmen (as I normally buy my own suits at a high quality for around the same price they rent theirs). When I inquired during fitting how I can purchase the suit, he wouldn't tell me about the absorbent fees. He just told me make sure I don't return it late and kept insisting that I would only have to return it and pay a small charge. When I returned a week later for my suit, the same attendant gave me the prices. When I reminded him of our lengthy conversation, all he could do was keep quiet, never admitting I wasn't going to be charged 2x the rental fee or the other several fees. The thin suit definitely wasn't worth the price. Even when I went to pick up the suit, it felt like nothing had been altered. Not even close to my waist size (and my weight has not changed in years). The arms were baggy and the tie reminded me of being in elementary school as it was clipped and no matter how you adjusted it, it stilled looked drunk around the neck. read more

An almost perfect suit for an almost perfect day! We all know nothing's perfect but if you come into Friar Tux Shop you feel like your as close to perfect as you can be. I needed a suit for my son's baptism which was moved up a week so I was in a rush for one. I originally ordered a suit from Men's Wear house but they screwed up my order by telling me that it will be ready on Saturday if I took my son to get measured on Friday before they close. Come to find out the sales rep gave me the wrong information, his mistake, it happens. So anyways to make a long story short, before I walked out of Men's Wearhouse in Costa Mesa they referred me to a Tux Shop right down the street which was a way to make up for their mistake! I walked in to Friar Tux Shop right when the woman was locking the door but she looked at me and saw that I was in desperate need for a suit! She said come on in and I told her I know what I want and I will make it quick! My son was quickly fitted and off goes the order the the Anaheim Friar Tux Shop where my son's suit was ready the next day on Saturday morning which was a day before my son's baptism for a great price! I couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism and service and I wanted to take the time to write this review as I know many of us don't have the time but I made time because they deserve the thanks!!!!! To sum things up , they are very professional , quick and make things happen and I will use them from now on. I appreciate all of your efforts for making this very and one of the most important days in my son's life happen! He looked really sharp and everyone loved his suit!! Went in on an average day, after picking up my bridal gown from a nearby shop. My fiancé and I were greeted and helped by the store manager, Desie, who is AMAZING!! She was extremely patient with us, asked us what we were looking for, and actually put my fiancé into several tux options. She dressed him so that we could see what our groomsmen would look like, and she also let us view multiple options for him since he is the groom and we want him to stand out. Desie's customer service was amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable about weddings in general, and she's been with Friar Tux so long that she knows absolutely everything the company has available for customers. I liked the fact the tux I rented was perfectly fitting on my body. I also just really liked how I looked in the tux. There are many great suits from which to choose from which is also something I liked because it gave me options on what I was planning to wear.The measuring and fitting services were excellent because the workers did their very best to see and measure what size fit me, which I truly appreciated. I don't really write Yelp reviews but I think this company and two individuals deserve to be pointed out. We already had 9 suits booked through another company but in searching for our junior groomsman' suit, we found friar tux. My mom initiated a chat with Kristy online and it was one positive experience after another. We're 4 weeks before the wedding and friar tux had better prices and great customer service so I decided to switch our 10-man groomsmen party to friar. Feeling overwhelmed that of not only having to switch everything but also, having to call in to give them the names, emails and suit choices for 10 guys was not something I wanted to do but I knew it would save everyone money so I went ahead and called. That's when the most patient guy answered the phone, Sean. He calmed me down with his kindness and patience. He was so willing to help and get everything figured out and answered my questions with such a sweet attitude! Once we were finished talking, Kristy emailed me to follow up since she had been talking to my mom and took the initiative to give us the military discount ahead of time since most of our groomsmen are having to fly in from all over (some currently overseas).
