That's kind of how it is when…read moreyou live in the Midwest and the closest Uniqlo is a three-hour drive, and you're visiting Southern California and SoCal is lousy with Uniqlo. There are so many Uniqlo stores everywhere! You guys are so lucky. This Uniqlo is located in the Fashion Valley Mall, an outdoor mall full of high-end and medium-end stores. It's on the upper level. Like all the Uniqlo locations that I've ever visited, this one is immaculate and organized. It's a pleasure to walk around and look at the well-made Japanese clothing. This is one of the smaller stores, so there isn't a huge variety like some of the other locations. But I found the things that I came for: the 3D mesh knit sweater in two different neutral colors, and another sweater in a neutral color. Uniqlo is great for basics and neutral things. One of my children thought I spent a thousand dollars on the clothes that I bought (he has no sense of money!), but no! The great thing about Uniqlo is that the clothes are great quality but the price is low. I love Uniqlo.

Not the biggest issue but, rude! Could've at least asked if I was doing ok... but, he only had eyes for her. Ha. Gorgeous fitting rooms, but really dark inside with some warm lighting but didn't offer enough light to actually really look at the clothing and make sure there were no issues. I had to use the light on my phone to double-check and I'm glad I did, bc the pants had a lot of runs in them. I spoke to someone at the front who said if I ordered off the site I wouldn't get the same pants as their fulfillment doesn't come from stores - we will see. I ordered the same size as in the store and I'm going to be mad if those arrive in the mail in a few days...

I went to this location cause they were once one of the highest volume stores in the nation, now I see how far they have fallen. There was barely any customers inside the store and several associates walking around. Their custom area is no longer on display as it is in many other locations for some reason. Took almost 5 minutes before any associate said a word to me. When I told them I was getting married and wanted to do customs for my self and my groomsmen the associate merely said ok and then opened a cupboard with the swatches and walked away. No explanation on how it works, what to do, or anything. I am honestly shocked the store manager would allow this behavior. After almost 10 minutes of looking at the swatches and laying them on a table still no associate checked on me. The staff seems to be more concerned about spending time on their phones than actually working. Avoid this location at all costs!!!

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.

They usually have two cashiers up front, but they move the line pretty fast so it's not a huge wait.

I had a disappointing experience at Friars Tux. Despite having a scheduled appointment at 1:30 pm, we arrived at 1 pm and still had to wait for over an hour to be assisted. The lack of staff was evident, with only one person working, making the wait even more frustrating. It's disheartening when a scheduled appointment doesn't guarantee timely service. I needed to try a dress on to see how it looked and felt. After looking up local retailers that carry the brand, I called Elegant Designs. I read off several of the model numbers for the dresses that I liked. He let me know if they had them and in which colors, or if he thought they could get them. Anyway, they definitely had one of them, but he was going to look further to see if he could get some of the others. I never got a call back. I called back a few days later to get the same story, and still no call back. Finally, I decided to go there and try on the dress they had. They had it in my size, but in a different color. I really fell in love with that dress, but was still curious about some of the other dresses. Again, he took my number and said he would call with information about the other dresses, but no call. Finally, after I couldn't stop thinking about the dress I had tried on, I asked him to get it in rose gold (color in the photo). He said I could wait and pay when I came to get fitted. That felt better to me, as I was a bit concerned about the lack of follow through. The dress came in my color quickly and he called to let me know it was in. I came to try it on and purchase it. It was $20 cheaper than I was quoted which was nice. I just needed it shortened so I could dance. He did the alterations there in the store, and I picked my dress up a couple days later. All in all, I had a positive experience, bought a dress that I love, and alterations were fast and easy. Once I had decided on my dress, the service was flawless. However, trying to find out about dresses that they didn't have in stock was impossible. I recommend Elegant Designs, but only for the styles they have in the store.

They gave us a little over a month to get my wedding dress tailored, and when we came to pick it up…read moreit wasn't even started on yet. Stitching work was messy, no fabric was actually cut, just *unevenly* folded over and sewed over the folds she made, which were very visible when the dress was worn. Zipper was somehow broken and the stitching that was holding it was coming undone. The dress also has a la Veneto bodice but it completely lost its shape. The dress did not complement my body at all anymore and somehow made a sleek dress look like a nightgown. Overall the stitching looked as if it was all made in a hurry, with no thought put into it. My dress has floating beadwork and I really want to stress the fact that they thought it was okay to fold over the fabric and sew over that, and call it a day. To my understanding, you're supposed to take out the old stitching, take the beads out by hand, cut/adjust the fabric, and then hand sew the beads back on. The seamstress did none of that. Not to mention she wanted us to come back another day, after delaying the pickup for 3 days already. She then said she would get it done that same afternoon so we could "go away already". It seems like they specialize more in quinceañeras, so I am not sure about the quality of work for those types of dresses, if that's what they specialize in then I hope other people have had a better experience than me. But I do not recommend this place specifically for wedding dress alterations, I had to pay way more to get my dress fixed.

In order to get 20% off as part of their promo, I had to spend a certain amount, so I decided to buy the dress + alterations package. The alterations were through a separate company, Magic Touch Cleaners priced at $499 I booked my appointment but a few hours later the manager from Magic called me back and notified me that Coco Melody has not paid them for the past few months and as a result they would be terminating business with them. Even worse, when they tried to claim their money, Coco claimed they are out of business and are refusing to take further phone calls from them. I immediately filed a claim with my bank to dispute this shady behavior. I'm extremely disappointed.
