Paul never once pressured me or rushed me and when I was getting ready to leave without purchasing a pair he didn't even seem annoyed. I did ultimately wind up buying a pair that day with progressive transition lenses and everything came out perfect! Read the other reviews and you will see mentions of Paul and what a great person he is. Buying an (in my case) expensive pair of eyeglasses is already a very stressful situation. You want to make sure you're making the right choice and it's not always possible to know just from trying on a pair in the store whether or not you're ultimately gonna like them. At the very least, having a great sales person to help you through the process makes the experience so much more enjoyable, and puts you at ease. Go in to Caserta, check out some amazing new and vintage frames and have a conversation with a native New Yorker who knows his stuff! I'm gonna start saving up for a return visit because once I got past the stress of finding the pair I ultimately purchased, I felt freed up mentally to find a few more pairs and hey, I'll probably just pop in to say hi sometime, too!
