We had lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon around 1pm. Business was slow but service was good. We were able to get our meal, eat and be out the door by 1:40 pm. I had a Chicago style dog and it was great. The waffle fries that come with it are the best waffle fries I have ever had. They are crunchy on the outside and warm on the inside. I ordered a side of Cajun hot sauce to dip them in. My fiance had the Italian beef. He said it was very good. It was served nice and sloppy like it should be. We were both full and satisfied. This was the first visit to the Friendly Confines (no I'm not talking about Wrigleyville) with some friends of ours and this restaurant was spacious and very clean and unique. You can watch any game whether it's NCAA football, NFL, Baseball or Basketball on their many jumbo TVs. The food was nothing gourmet but it was sports bar food and it was good. Fried Pickles were ok but not great. Staff was very professional and definitely will return to the Friendly Confines on another visit to Orlando. read more

Great sports bar. Food and drink specials almost every day. Many, many TV's - if you can't find your team on tv, they must not be on tv. The girls at the bar are really friendly - with the exception for the blonde diva - Zach and the rest of his crew are great! The blonde diva better find someone rich to come take her away, because while her good looks and store-bought assets may be fleeting - her condescending, diffident personality seems to be permanent. Love this place. The food is great bar food and very consistent. The service can get slow but that's because they get very busy and the kitchen gets bogged down. This is island life in Florida, so you really shouldn't go anywhere & be in a hurry! Staff is nice & cheery. Give FC a try for yourself. LM location is the best one. read more

It's a solid sports bar/restaurant. Lots of TVs all around and close to your table. We were there during the NCAA tournament so it was crowded but we still got good service. No drink specials after 7 on the Friday night that we were there. The burgers were very good and so were the waffle fries. A good first experience. I'll definitely go again. read more

The food was good. We went on recommendation of the best wings, but they're just as good as the Ale House's. I say this because the establishment is suppose to be family friendly but we went for dinner with our kids at 6:45 pm and the establishment was already loud and full of highly intoxicated people. I'm sure it's great for friends and those without kids, but we won't be back due to the volume and it's not what we were looking for when we went for wings with the kids. read more

Lakemary location ...Great time watching the Final World Cup up till the end. Right as the last second finished one of the employees wearing a girk wearing a backwards ball cap immediately turned off the sound and turned on music.. most that were there watching cashed and walk out and left it would have been nice to hear the celebration and trophy presentation. I'm giving it a 2 because the food is good. Service tonight was lousy. Bad part is that there were very few people in the restaurant when we were there. At least 10 minutes after we sat down before a waitress (there were 3, at least, that walked by or near our table) came to get our drink order. It got a little bit better from there but overall it made for a lousy dinner. read more

Hands down my favorite sports bar to watch NFL on Sundays. The atmosphere is fun with nearly every team having fans represent it and the owner keeps everybody engaged with cool giveaways like jerseys and drinks just for showing up! I also go other days of the week sometimes for their specials but my favorite is on the weekends because they have so many tv ' s you can watch every game. read more

The lunch was good but a bit pricey. I had the Mahi wrap. It was very filling and I could not finish it. The waitress service was friendly and busy. Wow.... The burnt driest "cubby claws" I have ever tried. I gave them back to the waitress and she offered another order when she finally came back to check on us. I told her we were done with the order. A large group of my friends meet there every year for the first Sunday of football. All of us tend to go in there quite often even if its just for pick ups. This year we had a few more in our group which meant not sitting all together. There are smokers in the group so they went outside. There were also a few of us who would go over and socialize with our other friends. Shortly before haltime the owner came over and asked where our friends were and told us that they couldn't leave the table, that they either stayed in their seats or had to share seats if they went out to smoke. What kind of bull is that?!!! He talked to us like we were in 2nd grade. Well after we finished our drinks, (didn't even finish the food because it wasn't that great) we all paid our tabs and went to Gators (fun place, great food, friendly staff and friendly, polite owner). 18 people left and 18 people will no longer be coming back for anything. And those 18 people will go on to tell all of their friends what a nasty, rude and condescending jerk the owner is. (Did I mention he had 4 seats empty at his table?) As a former restaurant manager I have to say that is NEVER how you treat customers. I see now why they have such a high turn over with staff. I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me post without it. read more

Their "Chicago style" menu items need some work. The Chicago style Italian beef leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps they need to go to Tony's Chicago Beef Co. in Sarasota to see what a real Chicago style Italian beef is supposed to be. Hopefully their Chicago dogs are better........ Ordered take out from them italian beefs wet. They had good flavor and hot giardiasis peppers like I'm used to in Chicago. The amount of meat was lacking to what I'm used to but overall was a good sandwich. The price is steep for what you get but i will eat their again read more

We went there on a Sunday afternoon. The front of the bar was packed and most of the people were very drunk. So we got a table in the back. We ordered our drinks and then a fight broke out. Tables were being overturned, guests were being knocked over, and this went on for 2-3 min. No one from the management team was doing anything. We ducked out a back door as the police arrived to break it up. If you like drunk people and bar fights this is your place. I will never go back. read more
