We wanted to remodel the kitchen and asked for 3 quotes. We ultimately chose this company because of the owner's personality. He gave a reasonable quote and was also to be the project manager. He said he would be there every other day to oversee. And he kept his word. Friendly Remodeling has delivered. From the owner, the cabinet guys, the foreman to the other workers that were at our house for 5 weeks. Everyone is kind, respectful, skilled and hard working. If there is something that needs to be corrected, they have no problems fixing it. The backsplash ended up bubbling out, they fixed it. And now the grout is a different color and they will fix that too. We are 90% done with our remodeling. We also had our bar area, our bathroom, and fireplace completely redone. We just decided to have them do the exterior painting of our house because we trust them and knew what we were going to get as a business. read more

I asked Friendly Remodeling to give me an estimate for a shower remodel. I was so impressed with Nate's knowledge of materials and sources that I decided to hire Friendly. I started with changing the shower from the original insert to ceramic tile, change out the engineered wood floor for vinyl, and fix our ceiling fan. Once I saw how well the crews worked I felt I could count on Friendly to do a quality job, so I added on another bathroom, changing out the old insert shower/tub, installing a soaker tub, tiling the tub alcove, installing new shower and tub fixtures and replacing the flooring. They even had a stone fabricator cut and install granite vanity tops in both bathrooms. I added the rest of the upstairs, stairway, and some downstairs flooring. I was very happy with the way Nate and Shimi worked and how they worked with their crews. Communication between all of the crew and me was polite and to the point, and they listened and followed through very nicely. Nate had suggestions for materials that worked well with my ideas, and some that did not. But, of course, as Nate would say, I should have exactly what I want and have it be perfect. My husband and I are very happy with the remodel we have in progress. We are having the Master bathroom completely redone and it looks amazing when you see the start to current condition. We can hardly wait for next week when it is totally completed... We are having new can lights installed through out our home and new ceiling fan lights , they look amazing also. In the Kitchen we are having new quartz counterttops installed and new tile in some areas along with all new fixtures. Each and every team that has come to do their part of the remodel have been extremely nice and professional. They all have been very accepting of how with this being my first home I ask lots of questions and as a former designer putting my thoughts in....The team is punctual and do a great job of keeping areas clean as they go protecting our new flooring and home. We just got done remodeling our kitchen, and it turned out great! Amit gave us a timeline of 6-8 weeks, and they delivered in 7 weeks! This was actually our second time doing the kitchen. The first time was with a different company, and they were horrible. That company overshot their schedule by an extra month and a half. That company's workmanship and quality was horrible, so compared to the work Amit and his team did, it's like night and day! WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS KITCHEN NOW THANKS TO FRIENDLY REMODELING! Throughout the process, Amit AND his foreman (I think that is the title) kept us abreast of what was going on in regards to plans and scheduling. Amit swung by the house at least once a week to ensure we were tracking on progress. As with any large construction project, issues may arise which would require changes to plans, scheduling and materials. We did encounter a few issues, but the team was able to find solutions to everything. Despite that, they still stayed on track with the schedule and maintained steady progress. Every little minor detail was addressed to our satisfaction. We got more cabinet space, the kitchen looks brighter and exudes a refreshing vibe now and overall we got more space in the kitchen... it looks so much bigger compared to the old kitchen! I contacted Friendly Remodeling on Yelp & Amit, the owner, called me within minutes & set up a time to come to my home the next day. He spent a lot of time with me discussing what I wanted for our home, gave me a lot of new ideas, & reassured me that he is accountable to keeping his customers happy. I met with a few other contractors who were short with their time & little to no human connection. Amit has a wonderful energy & I trusted him! Most of the work my home needed was handy man type stuff. Painting, changing fixtures. I was given an estimate timeframe of 7-10 days to complete the work. His crew of guys were great, Angel & Anthony were the 2 main guys who worked on our home. They are kind, friendly, funny, hard working guys w/ young families. What I loved about Amit, Angel, & Anthony is they were very strong on communication. Always updating, following up, giving clear details on the progress. Anthony was the one that did the bulk of the work, hes a hard worker. Showed up on time every day & worked hard the whole time he was here. They also were very accommodating to my dog, just mindful of him coming & going, making sure the front gate was closed so he couldnt get out, etc. The project took closer to 5 weeks but I really was ok with it taking longer than expected. I have children & our afternoons can be very busy so the guys would come & work during the day & wrap up early afternoon. Ive noticed some inconsistencies with the work but I also think that low budget projects may not get the same attention to detail that full remodels do.
