There were at least 5 empty tables and 2 parties left while we waited. Not one server even looked our way at the walked by which they all did because it's a very small place. The manager and kitchen crew even saw us and didn't say anything. After waiting 15 minutes I flagged down a waitress and the said they would be right with me. After 25 minutes we left. We have been coming here for years for a quick meal, only thing is sometimes it does seem to take forever! Maybe they are under staffed when we go who knows. I usually write really long and detailed Yelp reviews to the places I visit, but sometimes, places like this (fast food chains, and highway staples) don't need a long review. There were barely any people here today around 10 when I went for a Wednesday morning breakfast. The one amazing thing: WEEKDAY BREAKFAST IS 50% OFF! I opted to get the very simple all-American breakfast: 2 extra-large eggs (scrambled), 2 extra crispy bacon strips, and 2 buttermilk pancakes. The food kind of took too long to come out, considering that I was the only one who was newly seated and ordered food for dine-in. It took over 25 minutes for this breakfast plate to come out to me. The waitress was very cute and sweet and kind, but she was slow. I was really hoping someone could come by my table more often to refill my water, but they didn't. In addition, the store manager, a lady dressed in black, was sitting in a booth next to me and talking to an older gentleman patron and not really paying attention to the needs of the other tables around her. I was really disappointed to see this. Anyways, I just stopped by here quickly on my way home from a chiropractic appointment but I probably should have gone to another place nearby. The food was not good. The eggs werte extremely dry and I'm nearly 100% certain that I was only served 1 egg, not 2. And I am also not certain whether it was made with real eggs, or just egg product that comes out of a container of egg liquid material. The bacon did NOT come out crispy, and that is one of my greatest peeves.... any diner should be able to make something fried crispy. My bacon tasted somewhat old and the texture was soft and flimsy in a non-fatty, dry, jerky way. The pancakes were acceptable, but by the time I finished the pancakes, well.... Don't order through Uber eats from them. They packaged my order incorrectly and tried to blame Uber eat when it was their fault. The bag came to me stapled but I received two ice cream sundaes that weren't even close to what I ordered. recognizing it for what it is, I am rating based on comparison to other "fast Casual" eateries. I have seen a real uptick in attentiveness, speed of food, and the general quality of the experience in this location in particular. My burger was nicely cooked and crafted, not slapped together. The server was extremely nice and was engaged with eye contact. I ordered Ice cream with my food , but to have it delayed until I was nearly finished, and it arrived right on time. The family in the next booth seemed to be enjoying the interaction with their server as well, so I am making a leap here, but maybe better training or leadership occurred here? besides , great Pistachio ice cream is hard to find these days with HoJo gone. read more

I can't give it a I'm a fan rating because of what this place is. I mean, it's a friendly's. Your expectations should be very low when coming here, mine were, yet I was pleasantly suprised by my visit. We only came for ice cream, it was just me and the kids and we had a ball. Our waitress was Brittany or whatever unique spelling she may have been bestowed. She was so friendly and attentive. Our ice cream came out so quick and she had us in and out of there in no time. And although we had a swift visit, I did not feel rushed at all! Our total was under $5. Way cheaper than brewsters and we got free water and a place to sit in air conditioning. Went there with my two kids. You'd think a man alone with two kids under 5 might prompt some quick attention. After a waiting to be seated (though at least they didn't seem to forget us like they did the other people waiting) we waited almost ten minutes. Was ridiculous enough but then a patron who strolled in long after we were seated was waited on almost right away. We left and nobody even acknowledged us as we headed through the door. My husband and I came here to get ice cream. We ordered one peanut butter friend-z and a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream. There was one person in front of us and we waited 30 minutes and never got our ice cream. No one was wearing gloves AND some of the staff weren't wearing mask. I asked for a refund. Its Friendly's. It's highly commercialized and lacks consistency. I've had numerous bad experiences here, and a handful of okay ones. I've just been here so many times and 9/10 whenever I get the ice cream its mostly melted by the time it makes it to the table. The food is very generic. Breakfast I will say is better than lunch or dinner here but then again how does one truly mess up an omelette? As long as you dont get Val as a server you should be okay.. Took the kids here for a back to school dinner last night. We have been coming to location for years because the food was consistent and the service was always good. The last few times we have gone the food has been hit or miss. Last night the food was just bad. None of us are even half our food. The service was not great either. I only give this place a one star because the ice cream is good. Other than that this location is horrible and I encourage everyone to stay far from this location if they want to enjoy a good experience with their children. I have worked in customer service for years and understand life happens to everyone and we can't expect a great experience every time. However, this last time just takes the cake, I will never return. I have never had a good experience, a smile, or even your welcome, and this has nothing to do with COVID-19, this has been like this for years. My only hope is that the franchise owner sees this reviews and considers a change to save their business. The customers deserve better, especially during these tough times; we all just want common courtesy and I remain to have hope this could change, but I do believe this can only happen with a full staff change. Now that I don't have friends working here I don't come arounds as often and have taken notice of the short comings. Wait staff (at least the current batch of HS students) is not the best as I ordered a wrap and received a sandwich. I didn't send it back or complain as I didn't feel it was worth my time to argue about a wrap or sandwich. I would come back but just as often as I use to. The food was slow, cold, and tasteless. The waitress seemed not to care about us or the fact that we were unhappy with food and service.

If i could give this place negative points I would. I came in with one other and a baby and stood at the door for nearly 15 minutes without being greeted to be sat or spoken to by any staff member at all. As they walked by us and another group that had came in behind us they looked at us and kept walking. Two groups of people walked out. After over 20 minutes I asked to see a manager. Eric looked annoyed and uninterested in any thing going on in the restaurant. When I told him what had happend and that 2 other groups walked out behind us he just stood there and looked at me. At this point I got really upset and asked for food to go and for the corporate number. He very rudely spat be back in a minute and turned and walked away.
