Lots of love but not a tasty latte. Seems to have a following so perhaps a second trip is warranted.

I was waiting outside in the back of my friends truck one day and Aunty came out and gave me a breakfast sandwich to eat.

All the Maui Oma bean varieties we purchased and brought home with us have been excellent. After some research we found Maui Oma's retail space was located in Kumu Farms Market which is located in Maui Tropical Plantation. They offer many different coffees (peaberry coffees, espresso roast, lots of blends), some tools and small equipment for coffee making, and cool Maui Oma merch. Wish they had a tasting station with coffee samples so we get to know all the different coffees and can make easier/quicker choices. They have line cards next to each coffee explaining the roast, origin and flavor profile, but nothing beats sampling them. The cafe next door serves Maui Oma coffee but it's not a place where you can choose the type of Maui Oma beans you want brewed. They don't really showcase the Maui Oma brand by at least telling you what they are brewing. Regardless, I was just happy to try a cup of their coffee at the cafe. Shout out on the sleek, tasteful packaging design and quality. Perfect for gifting.

I took them to Iao valley which was closed for repairs. Then I planned to stop by here cause their goal was to by coffee and bring it back to the mainland. So why not stop here so they can taste it then go next door to by the beans. Yelp said they open at 8 am. We got there around 8:30. The sign said closed. So disappointed. The gentleman who was working with the dolly looked like the owner in the picture on Yelp. Never said anything to us. While we stood around. The security guard was really nice. The store next door opened at 9. The employee had cracked the door open and I spoke to him to see when they opened since we couldn't get a cup of coffee. He was sweet enough to let us in to buy the coffee beans. I was thankful for let us go it.

It's also located in a cool area with other small businesses including the Manoa Chocolate Factory (you can book a tour). 1/ DRINKS. The nitro brew is smooth, and not too bitter or sour. That's difficult to achieve with nitros but they do a really good job here. You can also get the standard drinks like lattes, americano, and even steamers. They pull espresso with precision. The latte doesn't taste burnt, but rather is rich and smooth and very easy to drink. 2/ TAKE AWAY. You can buy roasted beans whole or ground. They have the top tier Kona coffee at $90 for 12 oz but also more standard roasts for $20 for 12 oz. 3/ SERVICE. The staff and owner are top notch--super friendly and prompt. We managed to order over $100 of beans and got a free canvas bag! They also offer tours of the roastery. We didn't take it, but I'd imagine is a good follow-on tour to the Mano Chocolate Factory tour which is just one block away.

Good things come to those who wait. I only wish there were more people here specifically waiting…read morefor the coffee because it was absolutely delicious! Sadly, it seemed more folks were there for the pastries though. First off, I'm surprised I found such a fabulous cup of coffee in what feels like the epicenter of tourist life on this island. While visiting another island nearly establishment had signage stating they served Kona and/or Hawaiian coffee, but nearly every establishment's coffee was absolutely awful. Seeing the location I fully expected them to phone in the coffee, but it's clear that coffee comes first here, even if many of the guests are trying to get pastries! You'll be shocked by the line, but just know the staff is efficient and it moves fast. They offer a variety of their own locally roasted beans here, with options for batch brew, espresso drinks and even pour overs (impressive considering the volume of customers). The coffees are well described and the baristas have the additional knowledge you may be seeking when you order, and all in all this went as quickly as I could have expected. Truly, the coffee was delightful, and the fact I was drinking a hot drink on an extremely hot day didn't even phase me. I wanted so badly to bring home a bag of each one, but given that everything is more expensive in Hawaii, these were all 4x the price of the specialty coffee I buy on the mainland and I just couldn't make it happen. What will happen is me telling everyone to visit this shop when they're in Hawaii because it is 100% worth it. Won't you consider opening one in Reno NV?

Long line, oven was broken, so only coffee and desserts available…read more Ordered a "Kona" coffee for $5. Quite frankly it's one of the worst cups of coffee I had. Watery, flavorless. This can't be Kona coffee, and if it was, they don't know how to brew it. Terribly horrible, really expensive coffee. Don't bother.

I took my parents for their 44th Anniversary and we all love outdoorsy activities so I knew we'd all enjoy this! We were asked to arrive at 10:30 am for the tour and it lasted until 1-1:30 pm. Arrive with good walking shoes, SPF, light sweater and hat (it can get either a little chilly or hot from the direct sunlight), and well hydrated if possible. We were greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable tourguide, Kate from Maryland! She shared with us so many facts about the locally grown produce from herbs, vegetables, fruits, to the friendly worms, to compost and facts about the Farm and the hardworking staff! It was interactive because we got to sniff the herbs, taste the locally grown lettuce, carry a chicken (as seen in the photo with my mom), and even pick the Cherry coffee! After the 2 hour tour, the last hour takes you back to this beautiful seating area in a garden like setting for your 4 course lunch! Each course, the chef comes out and shares details of each course. First course was a Medley of Greens grown on the farm with Tangerine vinaigrette. It was a generous portion for our party of 3 and tried to eat it throughout. There was spiraled carrots and radish with julienned snap peas. Second course was Pan Seared Ono (their proteins are all locally sourced) with Mamaki Tea and Lemongrass Rice with Bok Choy, Collared Greens and Cabbage. Third course was my favorite! I'm usually a big fan of fish but the chicken was so savory and that rub was delish! It was an Organic, Cage Free Chicken with Coffee Cherry Citrus rub with Caramelized Coffee Honey Hash of Carrots, Parsnips, Rutabaga and Celery Root. The spread was a Turmeric and Parsnip puree. Last course of dessert was the O'o Freshly Brewed Coffee with Milk and Simple Syrup with a Dessert Platter of Fresh sliced Pineapple, Tangerine and Apple with Homemade Chocolate Truffles. The meal left us full and nourished! What a wonderful anniversary gift to give my parents. We truly enjoyed it and even made some new friends, both local and visiting.

My son enjoyed the mahi mahi tremendously, which for a kiddo who only eats chicken normally, is a huge compliment! I thought the tour was very informative and interactive as well. Our guide Molly let us pick, smell, and explore a lot of the plants they have growing on the grounds. She also very nicely picked a tangerine for my son because he really wanted one. Overall, worthwhile experience, despite the long drive from Lahaina. I would do this again, whether it is the brunch + coffee tour or the lunch tour!
