However, my experience was the complete opposite. When I arrived, I spoke briefly with one of the owners and barely received a greeting in return. From that point on, there was no communication, no acknowledgment, and no guidance. I ended up walking through the facility on my own, and no one else made any effort to speak or engage with me. This did not feel like a business that is interested in welcoming or gaining members. What makes this more upsetting is that I had already secured a membership weeks ago, fully supporting the gym before opening. Being treated with such a lack of warmth and communication during an event meant to build excitement and community has caused me to seriously rethink my decision to join.
