The customer service was not good at all, I walked outside for a moment and the doors were locked so my husband had to leave the table to let me in, they took his food away and he was not finished, the table was sticky, and customers from table to table were having to share napkins because staff would never bring any. I wanted to try Frizzle Chicken on our first day at PF, after seeing their photos of a glorious eggs Benedict. I received a menu which showed nothing much more than pancakes and waffles for over $10+. I ordered the chicken and waffles which I was given cold, and fake disposable Smuckers syrup. This Chicken Momma was like a kid in a candy store!!!! I LOVE the Chicken names and the best part...they are animatronic!! Music comes on and they dance...and the Servers join in on the Chicken Dance!! What fun!!! The Server was very nice and prompt. We ordered a bacon omelet add onions. This place is getting 4 stars from me ONLY because I was with my parents and kids and that makes for an awesome experience. HOWEVER,...I ordered the "Whole Breakfast" with eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Well,...there was literally 2 measly strips of bacon on my plate. That really put a frown on my face since it's extremely weak. Secondly, when it was time for them to give us the bill, the waiter couldn't find the receipt and got all his tables mixed up. It took so long that I had to eventually leave with the kids while my parents sat there still waiting on the ticket:( The table next to us finally told the waiter to just give him "any ticket" and he'd pay. The food was good, but just very skimpy on their portions. Their wait staff is VERY welcoming and kind, but their organization is highly lacking. Frizzle chicken, y'all are ok, but your wait staff needs to get their organization together-it's ok to add a few more minutes if it will help keep everything in order. We went today for breakfast, we were really hoping for good food. To say we were underwhelmed is a short statement. Our server took forever to get our drink order in which we just placed a order. It appears they are doing a limited menu due to COVID still. Which was fine, just not a huge selection. The eggs were running for scrambled and the country ham was tuffer than it should have been. We were visiting one of our cabins in the area and saw Frizzles from the road. We chose this restaurant because we heard the singing mechanical chickens was very cute plus we have a son who raises chickens and loves all things poultry (both on his plate and in the coop). Many restaurants in the area have cutesy gimmicks or good food but it's rare you find both in one locale. This place is a notable exception. I had the chicken and waffles, my son had chicken tenders, another son (with autism) had pancakes, and my husband had a different chicken dish. I can say, with no hesitation, this was the best chicken I've ever had into life! I know you're thinking "This woman must be from somewhere that is barren of good chicken". I'm from OK, lived in KC, and currently reside in Kentucky, home of many chicken connoisseurs. I've had excellent chicken but this place is king of the fryer. We were all blown away by the food, service, and the ambience. This place is perfect for truly anyone. Our sons are 13 and 15 - they both wanted to return. Our sons with autism were treated so sweetly and our server couldn't have been more wonderful. We visit the area to check on our rentals and have several favorite haunts but this establishment just rocketed to the top. HORRIBLE. The food is nothing like *my* grandma made! The meatloaf was rubbery. They put ketchup on it after it came out of the oven and it was still cold. Then we get our bill. We were charged $0.07 to use the plates. No joke. The manager told us. After I complained, he agreed to take it off. I don't mind paying the $19.95 for an all you can eat but I'm not paying $0.07 to use a plate. You'll notice we received our military discount plus the $0.07 taken off. Check your bill! I'm sorry to say but this place was not for me. The threes choices of meat we tried was dry and over cooked. Sides that came out were either instant or from a can. The only thing I did enjoy was the turnip greens and fried okra. My salad that came out was old and wilted. The staff would stand at the bar and were talking very loudly. It was quit disturbing to hear there conversations while eating. Unfortunately for the price I paid I could of gotten a warmer fresher meal at golden coral. Well, lets start with it was just OK. We stopped by as our cabin was about half a mile away and we needed food after a long drive. We went inside, and next thing you know, the chicken's started singing and dancing (yeah) so my attention was drawn to that. We sat, and ordered. A simple menu, but there are things you can get that aren't on the menu. The prices are quite reasonable for the surrounding area, and the service is top notch. The food was served really quick and it was really good. The farmhouse decor is nice and the singing chickens will give the kids something to enjoy. The other big thing is your not squished in together, there is plenty of rooms between tables so no sliding forward or being brushed by, they could easily double their tables so it's nice to be able to sit normally at a table and not be knocking chairs. Love this place. I always explain it to other as the best place in Pigeon Forge. But, my last visit to here was disappointing. I carried my entire family for breakfast on the Thanksgiving week & the food and service was perfect... but the view was terrible. You guy have installed these partition walls between each booth for Covid 19. I understand you doing this, but it would've been better if they were clear. The white walls block nearly all the view of watching the chickens or any of the show. I hope you guys spend a little extra & replace these soon. We had come here pre-covid and it was incredible, food was fresh and unique. However, their menu is very limited and was basically heated up frozen food and was sub par totally not worth the price. First, they have a Yelp discount. Good. But more importantly, this place is just perfect for the kids. The entertainment value is worth at least two stars by itself, and the food is a solid Four stars, ditto for the value for the amount of food. So this is really a Six Star place that I am downgrading to a five star for the purpose of this review. All kidding aside, this is well worth the money. The atmosphere is over the top. Too fun to describe. The service is absolutely excellent. They checked to make sure everything was okay at least four times, offered refills, and then offered to-go boxes and to-go refills!! Finally, the taste of the food was way better than average. My pancakes were very tasty. There are only so many things to make pancakes really good and they found one. The bacon was not as done as I like it, but the applewood smoked taste made me forget all about that. Good eggs, omelette, potatoes and bread too. Just excellent. Easily the best breakfast we had in Pigeon Forge. I love pancake houses, and look forward to vacation breakfasts every year. After a disappointing breakfast the day before at Reagan's, Frizzle Chicken got it right. It was super cute, clean, with great food and service. Good coffee too. I had their Chicken and Waffle which was the perfect combo of savory and sweet. Hubs had biscuits with tomato gravy, and my son had the city ham and egg plate. Both ate nearly everything on their plate. Hubs loved the biscuits and said they had a great buttery flavor. Maybe I'm the only one who didn't even realize the chickens sing. Such a cute surprise after saying to my husband: "Do you hear that noise? What the hell is that?" Apparently it was the chickens getting themselves in tune. LOL! Totally adorable and great for the kiddos. I really hope this restaurant does well. I'd love to visit again when we're there. read more

I used the yelp waiting list and walked around in the stores beside the restaurant to kill time. I also used the 20% off coupon advertised on yelp. We were sat immediately! The food was great, service was okay. I think our server only came by about twice which was fine because we didn't really need anything. I don't have any complaints. read more

Honestly if you are going to see singing chickens. Save the wait it's not worth the over hour long wait. You will get better food at a Waffle House. Food: Biscuits and gravy were good. Eggs and bacon were fine. The potatoes were dry and tasted like they came in a frozen pack and fried. They had none of their special dishes. My daughter got a sandwich with a fried steak on it. It was flavorless. Three of us tried it and no one liked it.
