It's a cute kitschy place with animatronic chickens, and def family friendly, however the food is not great. Be prepared for a long wait. The menu looked to have been scaled down with one kids breakfast option (bear pancakes). I had avocado toast and it was the lightest spread of green topped with some older chopped tomatoes and feta, I only ordered this as another review said it was good - it is not so stick to normal breakfast items. Also had chicken and waffles and it was ok, noting we are from the South and have high expectations for flavor, it was on par with a Dennys. For us this is a one time thing and won't be going back, but it was fun to see the chickens and staff were friendly. read more

We loved this Southern-Style breakfast that wasn't just filled with good food....but with over 100 singing animatronic chickens!!! That's right. As soon as we saw this place being advertised we knew we had to go. It was SO much fun and the food was surprisingly great for being in such a touristy part of Pigeon Forge. The prices were really reasonable and it was a large portion of food. I got the chicken and waffles and it was amazing. The waffle was fresh and fluffy and the chicken had the perfect amount of batter on it. We were at Frizzle Chicken Cafe for a little bit less than an hour during breakfast and we got to see the chickens sing 2 songs. Pleasantly surprised. We had breakfast here and I was honestly dreading it. I wasn't keen on the idea of the animatronic entertainment, however, it was not loud nor annoying. The service was good and the food was also good. I had the breakfast tacos with bacon and they very generous with the ingredients! The breakfast potatoes were pretty awful as they are prepared ahead of time and sit under a warmer. I prefer when going to a seated restaurant to have my food made to order. We've visited this place twice while in Tennessee, most recently this past November, five years after our first visit. The ambiance is still charming, and the chickens still sing, which makes it fantastic for children. However, we felt that our experience five years ago was a bit more memorable. Back then, the singing seemed more lively, with more songs and a higher level of engagement throughout our time at the restaurant. The food is typical American style--decent, though not exceptional. The service was good; our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
