This is a go to spot if you have kids with you. They have animatronic chickens all around the restaurant that sing karaoke every 30 minutes or so. It was a busy day so it kind of drowned out a lot of the sound, but I was glad as I heard they might be loud. Now on to the food, you cant beat getting a meal for 2 adults and 1 child and feel full for $30. Also it tasted sooooo good. The cinnamon roll pancakes hit the spot. I tried some of my daughter's fried chicken and the spices were on point. It's a cute touristy restaurant and doesn't skimp on the flavor of the food

Went on a Monday morning ! Before 10 am. Was not too busy no wait for a table of 3. Located in PF , limited parking , central location easy to walk to. I will say that this restaurant is super cool. They have animatronic chickens that sing dance every 5 to 10 minutes that lasts about two. They have a small menu, but the food is very good. The service is even better something that could appeal to everybody. We had the big breakfast with the pancakes eggs sausage toast Chicken and waffles And chicken strips and french fries All the food was cooked very well and came out pretty quick. Our order was right. Our waitress did a great job making sure that our drinks were full and we didn't need anything to go with our meals. The place is decor as a farmhouse. It also has a little gift shop section right in front where you can pick up a plushy to worry or T-shirt to remember your experience. Restaurant seemed very clean. They were very organized when it came to having people sit and holding tables and all of that type of thing it definitely did get busy when we left at 10:30. They had a line out the door.

The food is fine, nothing to write home about. The food portions are enough for a single person. The biscuits are small, the gravy is meh. The chicken for their chicken and waffles are just chicken strips. Their breakfast ham sandwich is a piece of ham on a hamburger bun. The potatoes tasted old. I was hoping the robotic chickens interacted with each-other the whole time, or something, but they just do a themed song every 22 minutes. They would kinda shake the entire time but I was hoping for something more entertaining. Service was fine but don't expect more than 1 refill on coffee or soda, food came quick. Wait to sit was atrocious on the weekend at 9am. We were a large group but seated us at 2 separate tables instead of a large table, so specify if you want to get seated together. Getting in and out of the parking lot was difficult to say the least. Glad they have plenty of parking in the rear. Glad to experience this place once but won't be back.

We came here Sunday morning about 8:30 and walked right in. Staff super friendly and nice clean place. We ordered and watch the chicken show. I liked that the music was loud enough to hear but you could still carry on a conversation. We got the everything breakfast one with waffle and one with pancakes, bot were cooked great.

If you have kids this place is great. Chicken animatronics that sing and move about every 15 minutes. Very cute design. They sell all kinds of merch. We were there for breakfast and it's a great way to start your day. The breakfast tacos, pancakes and chicken and waffles all were great. Wish something like this was near my home town.

Stopped in on a Sunday, sometime around brunch. The hostess quoted us, a family of 6, a 25 minute wait, but it was defintiely less than that. We were seated and promptly given menus and utensils, and our drink order was taken. Coffee was hot and pretty good! We all ordered something a little different. My husband especially liked his waffle and I thought my eggs and potatoes were seasoned and cooked well! Everything was hot and came out quickly. The atmosphere was great! The kids enjoyed the chicken shows and picked out a chicken stuffed animal for our baby. We walked around the restaurant checking out all the chicken names, which were fairly comical. Bathrooms were okay-- there was some toilet paper all over the floor and no paper towels in the holder, but I'm sure those are things they were probably taken care of since it was closer to closing time. The dining room seemed fairly clean though. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating, even with the sling for the carseat in the middle of the walkway. They give a military discount and I think we paid like $60 for everyone to eat. If we are in the area again, I would definitely go back.

The food was just okay, we really enjoyed the theming and the animatronic chickens throughout the place. For us, personally, it was a one and done type situation, but the breakfast tacos were pretty good. The biscuits and gravy were a travesty to southern people, but the people were friendly, it was clean, and I really did enjoy my own meal, personally!

We drove to town specifically for this restaurant because of the singing chickens. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. We showed up closer to noon, had no wait and were served fast. Make sure to ask abut the toppings for waffles and pancakes as they aren't listed on the menu. I got chicken and waffles with crushed oreos and husband got chicken and cinnamon bun pancakes. He was able to change the waffle to pancakes (I think there was an up charge, but worth it). The waffle was a pretty dry but still tasted good. The pancakes were the winner of our meal. The chicken is super good and I wish there was one more piece.

Super cute concept. Servers all had on overalls and plaid which was cute to me. Have some mechanical singing chickens they do a little cover maybe every 15 minutes or so. Our server was really sweet and gave us a great run down of the menu. The pancakes were phenomenal. Chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly and piping hot when they arrived. Would definitely eat here again if ever back in the mountains.

Never have I really ventured outside of that and I couldn't actually tell you why. When my kids and I made a quick 1 day Dollywood trip over to Pigeon Forge, 23 we're looking for a place to eat prior to the big day at the park. What's funny is I relied in Googles AI (Gemini) to tell me where to go. I was driving around and was asking for recommendations. It said Mama's Farmhouse was a popular place to eat for families and it was all-you-can-eat. The kids wanted fried chicken and Salisbury steak, which was in the menu for that day. What a coincidence! If I could summarize it, this is basically a local Cracker Barrel-style restaurant but the food is a lot better. It's tucked away off of a side road off of the main highway 321 road and reminds me a lot of the Applebarn Restaurant down the road. The ambiance is this old timey feel, like many of the establishments around the area. The fried chicken (bone-in), chicken tenders, fries catfish, and Salisbury steak was what we ordered for our mains. Everything was delicious! The seasoning had the perfect amount of salt across all the dishes and sides. The chicken was juicy and tender. The Salisbury steak was solid, some of the best I've ever had. Savory, rich brown gravy, and tender chunks of beef. All the sides were amazing too, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and chicken and dumplings. Honestly there wasn't a negative thing about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.

Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. Or none. But we've definitely had much worse. It was pretty quiet when we started our meal but it became pretty busy. Parents really need to be mindful that they aren't the only ones present in a bustling restaurant and remove the screaming child making it miserable for the other guests. Twenty minutes of that was too much. Uncalled for. That comes from a parent (me). But I digress. The food was probably the best we've had since coming here. The pot roast and fish were excellent as were the potatoes, creamed corn, broccoli cheese casserole and okra (tons of seasoning which was amazing). Yes. I know it is not traditional southern okra but it's still pretty darned good. Why the four stars? One: they do not bring enough food. Before the server left the table after bringing our food, we had to ask for more potatoes and pot roast. Not enough to go around and we were taking small helpings. Then one has to wait for more. That's not the way it should be. Serving portions should be measured per number of guests per table. Not guesstimates. Two: they've started charging for desserts. What used to come with the meal is now extra. Costs are high enough as it is so we sadly skipped the ooey gooey butter cake and banana pudding. The sole reason for this review is to give a heads up about the change. All in all, the meal was delicious. Will definitely return.
