Great themed family restaurant with affordable options for breakfast and lunch only. The menu was very simple with few options, but when eating with a large party this helps keep things moving. We had a party of seven and the wait was 30-45 mins on a Sunday which I think is extremely reasonable, I checked the website and they don't appear to take reservations or call ahead seating, but I didn't call to verify. The hostess stand was extremely busy as the restaurant is large and very popular. The hostess we spoke with was responsive, but not pleasant. Food quality was ok, same as you would get at a chain hotel continental breakfast. I ordered an iced coffee which was almost six dollars and hard to drink. Not sure what was used for flavoring, but the coffee base was bitter, the vanilla & cream tasted slightly chemical and it was pretty watered down. Our order was taken promptly, food came quickly and our waitress was efficient. She was polite, but it was obvious she was not thrilled to be there. The decor is fitting for the theme and the big draw for the restaurant - singing chickens are fun to look at. The volume is kept low on the chickens which is understandable and also a bit disappointing. Overall we're happy we experienced the theme and the kids enjoyed the chickens, but no one was impressed with the food, plenty was left on the plates. So disappointing We were so excited to come here. All our friends told us it was the place to go for breakfast and a cute show. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. It's hard to mess up breakfast, but they did. Biscuits were dry, and the husband said the eggs were at least fresh. My French toast was just toast, it didnt get any custard on it. While in Pigeon Forge on family vacation, my sister-in-law had Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe on her list of places to go. I recommend it to be added to everyone's list of places to go in Pigeon Forge. I'll get to the food in a moment but what made me say, "Wow!", the most about Frizzle Chicken was the cheesy, yet brilliant entertainment. All throughout the restaurant, there are robotic chickens with hilarious-inspired celebrity names such as Cluck Norris and Jimi HENdrix. The chickens also cluck well-known songs about every 5 minutes. Such songs that I heard were Sweet Home Alabama, YMCA, and Star Wars Theme. Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe is open 7am to 1pm. The place looks like a barn. The waitresses wear overalls. Right now, there is a limited menu that specializes in breakfast and lunch options. For my entree, I went with chicken tenders, fries, and slaw. The chicken tenders were freshly fried and on the crispy side. But they had a very tasty breading to them. I liked the fries and the slaw. My kids loved this place. They were intrigued by the chickens all around the walls right away. Hostess was a bit confused on where to seat us but she did apologize for the delay. Our waitress, Brandi was also late greeting the table but was friendly and did strike up a conversation towards the end of our visit. That is cool, I'm hoping restaurants can hang on and having easy turnover items is a good way to do this. I didn't specify they type of ham and this was country ham...be still my heart with the salty goodness! I got a side of gravy to go with my biscuit that was a good move. Someone different delivered the food to our table, and said the waitress would handle our empty beverages. Since she never came back, all seven of us had our meals with nothing to drink. What a waste of $20 for bottomless beverages. I tried on multiple occasions to wave the waitress down and she just ignored me. After 20 minutes of eating I had to get up and ask the cashier for a to go box and my check. I paid and boxed up my own leftovers and never once talked to the waitress again. The draw here is most likely the atmosphere and the singing chickens. We stopped in on a Monday morning. The wait was over 45 minutes, and once we ordered, it was still a decent wait for our food. For COVID, they do have partitions between booths and staff is masked. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with chicken tenders over a waffle. The tenders were seasoned well. Butter and syrup are brought out in individual containers (COVID safety), so make sure to get plenty upfront if you need them. Service is a bit slow, but considering the time we're in, I believe they were doing the best they could. So I seen that place on TikTok and had to go, but everything was just okay. Food is okay, it's really cheap I will give them that, but their eggs weren't even seasoned. Service was okay, it was pretty busy so it was understandable why it took a while for refills, but then we go up to the front to pay and they can't even find our ticket in the system even though we had a printed out ticket? And the whole vibe on the inside was cute, but thought there would be more instead of every 10 minutes there being a 1 minute thing where the lights dim and the chickens just 'sing'. First of all, my server, Wanda, is an absolute delight! She is so smiley and friendly! She is the most joyful and caring server that I've ever had. Second, the food was outstanding. This is/was one of our go to spots for breakfast when we discovered it several years ago. A big menu with pages of good food and neat ambiance. When we arrived today they placed a single laminated page in front of us, and we all just looked at each other wondering where the menu went. We ended up asking the waitress and discovered we could still get things off the menu. We all ordered something not on the menu, I was just about to gather my family to leave before we discovered this option. Bring the full menu back to the tables. Food was still good, chicken fingers are good but were served barely warm. TIP - look back through the menu images to see more options that are apparently still available, like pumpkin waffles or sprinkle confetti pancakes.
