For our entrees, I got the "Spicy Mother Clucker" with sweet potato fries and my friend got the jalapeño bacon burger with Mac and cheese. Ordered a full order of hand battered colossal onion rings that are extremely CRISPY. It comes with a dipping sauce however I prefer ketchup. The crunch is definitely a 5 on a scale of 1-10 however the flavor is delicious and a bold 7/10 which is a good rating for a sweet onion. About those Micheladas.... I'm not a fan of beer but one thing for sure is that I love Micheladas! It's the perfect amount of bitter, sweet, salt, and spice. This one particularly is pretty good for a quick mixture . This place is definitely a loud sports bar type of environment. The food was also just ok, like your regular bar food that's mid. I ordered a bbq burger and onion rings. They only gave me like 5 onion rings and most were over cooked. We also got the wings and those were kinda dry. The parking also sucks and I had to park in the neighborhood and walk after circling around the lot several times. Our server was nice. The food is also over priced. Our bill was about $85 for two plates, 6 wings, and two sodas. The $30+ skewer plate is ridiculous in my opinion. We also sat next to an extremely loud and drunk party which just killed everything. It was adorned with from both blue cheese, and even more bacon drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Scrumptious! One thing we did not care for was the side Mac and cheese. It was plain and dry. Maybe it was a bad day. I don't recall it being dry. The only redeeming factor was the crusty Panko topping. I was here for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu. I got the Supreme Burger with a cup of chili for $10. The cup of chili was okay. The burger was a 1/2 pound, very juicy, and very good. I initially was going to dump the bun, but it was too good to pass up. The fries are awesome, fried to perfection, and seasoned just right. The fries reminded me of the way Great Steak and Potato used to make them. Overall, this Fronk's has been around close to 4 years and still going strong. I still remember bookmarking them back then. Fronk's has THE BEST soup!! I've tried their seafood chowder, zucchini cheese, and tomato bacon soup and they are all AMAZING! The chef here is a genius with flavors. Unique and delicious! We love to come at 8pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday and enjoy their happy hour. The deep fried corn on the cob is to die for. I was in the area because i had just come from Long Beach and wanted something along the way home. I looked up for "Dog friendly restaurant " and Fronk's showed up. Also, the food looked pretty good so I decided to stop by this place since I was tired of going to Lazy Dog and The Morrison (usual dinning that that have menus for dog). There is parking available on the street around the block and also there is a parking lot next to another restaurant, $4 for 3 hrs (parking ticket meter didn't work when we went) Unfortunately, this place is not dog friendly. The waiters love dogs (or so they say), but don't allow dogs in the patio due to "allergy problems", so we ended up leaving her out the gate and tied her on the gate while she sat next to us. No water bowl was given nor offered. Service was ok, she seemed a little stressed out so we tried to help out by piling our dishes on top of another so it'd be easier for her to clean up. We got the: -Bacon cheddar fries 3/5 -Chicken strips 4/5 (they use a shrimp tempura batter) -Pepperoni flat bread pizza 2/5 (crust was nice and chewy, the pizza sauce was very tangy--reminded me of Little Caesar's. ) Overall I probably will not come back to this place because they don't allow dogs inside the patio as I take my dog everywhere with me. read more

One of the best stops to grab lunch. I like to go with my coworkers when we are craving burgers and their huge onion rings. Came to fronks on a Friday afternoon and was told the wait was about 30-40min but that if I didn't mind sitting in the bar area I could be sat immediately. So I said yes. We waiting about 15 minutes after being sat down and still no one had even taken our drink order. Finally I was able to flag down a waiter and told him if we could get some service he apologized and took our drink order. After we received our drinks another 10minutes pasa and still no one came to take our order for food. We asked for the check which that was brought to me promptly paid for the drinks and left. I can't speak on the food because I wasn't going to waste another hour waiting to see if I get served. Tori has said they would call me back for a follow up and I never received a call back. I called back two days later and spoke to the owner Craig and he was a total asshole. He had so much pride that his food is always number 1 and he went on and on about how great the food is. Craig did not care that someone had gotten food poisoning at his restaurant all he cared about was trying to keep this quiet and offering me a free meal as if I would ever eat there again.
