Internet went out. Tried the chat service and was cut off 2 times. Then called, hung up on after 30 minutes. Took 2 more calls to determine their equipment was defective. Said they would send a replacement. Called later in week and no replacement ordered. As of this moment I haven't received the replacement. Worst customer experience I have had. Don't do it. What a nightmare. Where do I start? Service installation occurred, tech left. Right after he left, service would intermittently cut out every 10 min or so for about 10-15 min. Imagine trying to watch a show or god forbid you work from home. I had to connect to my mobile hotspot and contacted frontier to have them help fix the issue. That's the second issue: Customer service is so incredibly aggravating. They use an AI chatbot that is worthless. And the app itself crashes while waiting to connect to an actual agent. The agent scheduled me for the upcoming Saturday. But...he scheduled the wrong date. I checked in on Thursday to confirm they were coming on Saturday because i got a text message saying they were scheduled for Friday. He assured me more than once that it was indeed scheduled for Saturday. Tech shows up on Friday and I'm not home. Wtf. And because I work during the week, I'll have to wait another week for a Saturday appointment? I think not. NEXT! My circumstances might not be yours but just be advised that you won't have access to efficient customer service if you have an issue. It seems pretty cut and dry. You pay for service and should have an expectation of receiving just the basic service. I don't need anything special. Now I am just going to cancel and hope they reverse charges for service I never received. read more

This is perhaps the worst company with which I ever did business. I had 3 years of reliable internet until they upsold the so called "high speed fiber optic internet. The fiber service was fine until a neighbor allegedly cut my line. I asked for five months to have the service restored and relied on my cell phone hot spot in the meantime. I must have had ten technicians come out between August and October and there was constant finger pointing. I closed my account after five months of not having service. I called Spectrum and they installed internet within 24 hours! To top things off I returned their inoperable equipment via UPS and the awful scammers continued to suggest I never returned their stuff. I had my UPS tracking number! Take that scammers. Miserable customer service you get trapped in an endless AI loop if you call. No I don't want an AI link texted to my phone, I want a human. Go to Spectrum right away they will fix your internet access within a day!!! read more

Frontier is a scam! My husband was told to reserve a spot to have a sales representative talk to me they booked a service tech to install the fiber optic lines. They make it nearly impossible to cancel. The confirmation number disappears if you open the email and it prompts you to make an account. When you call costumer service you are sent to 3 different customer service reps. We asked for a confirmation number to make sure it is cancelled and the rep said she sent an email. No email if the tech shows up and they try to bill us I Will report Frontier to the BBB. They get 0 stars! read more

Avoid Frontier Communication if you possibly can, There charges are criminal, additional charges added on to the bill, horrible customer service. I had to call them 4 times to terminate Service. read more

I am appaled that this could happen. We have had their service for years. But suddenly our phone service went out TWO WEEKS AGO!!! We no longer can receive calls. We cannot receive phone messages. And we cannot open the gate to our community to let our guests or our repair men in. The only thing we can do is call out. And this has gone on for over two weeks now. We have made numerous calls to get it fixed but nothing has been done. We were told to stay home one day last week because the repair man was coming between 8 and 12 in the morning. No one came..We called and were told our repair ticket was given to repair man. Then they told us there is an outage in the entire area. But for two weeks??? Fortunetly we have cell phones, but that does not help. They told us there is a second party fixing the problem. Obviously no is is fixing the problem. We need it fixed!!! read more

I have never been so angry with a customer service. First of all, it took me days to get ahold of anyone. Then that person transfers me to the Philippines! It was an absolute nightmare. The guy sounded drunk on top of his very thick accent. There was laughter and loud talking in the background like he was at a party. I finally asked for a supervisor he put me on hold for 15 minutes!! Supervisor was no better and extremely rude! I wasted 11/2 hours and have decided to cancel my service!! Use any service provider other than Frontier, even if you end up paying more monthly. In the long run it will save you time, money and frustration. They let a guest charge a pay per view to an account I manage for a friend despite confirmation that no guests could charge on the account. Then Frontier never sent an invoice for the charge, just apparently added late fees when it wasn't paid. I found out about everything when they sent the account to collections and I received a letter to my home address. This confirms they had my address all along and never saw fit to send me a bill for a charge that never existed. Now I have a hit on my credit score all because of Frontier's incompetence. They have offered no help, despite claiming they would fix everything. An incredibly poorly run company with terrible customer service and management!! AVOID!! read more

Frontier was working down the street and as a result the whole neighborhood was brought down. They worked on it the next day and some came back up and the rest didn't. Day 4 and many phone calls later they're blaming the subcontractor and a 10 day wait to get internet back. NO customer service skills. read more

The worst first foot forward of any business I've dealt with EVER. I waited from 11am-5pm which was the time they said their technician would arrive and set up service both outside and inside the house, and at 7pm the technician said he was on his way. Before that I'd communicated with their useless "chat" online, the only way I could get through to them, and their only solution was to set up another long waiting period a whole week after. They knew I didn't live there, the house was just bought and empty, and I was leaving for overseas on the day they said to wait another 11-5 period of time. No remote concept of customer service, apology for the wait and no-show, or speeding up the process with everything considered. The technician that was two hours late turned up to the house to see if it was set up for him to work and they hadn't provided what he needed, not informed him that the job would entail his working both inside and outside, and so a total waste of time with zero solutions. I canceled being a new customer - if this is the first introduction, there's no way that this company would do anything but one massive fail after the other. One star is too much, the company is an absolute disaster. read more
