It's just Homie. The people know you. 10 out of 10 bathroom would recommend. Food exquisite. The cuisine made my lips tingle, and, my Nethers shake. Paired nicely with a Coke. We've stopped here several times over the summer. The rootbeer floats alone are worth the stop! The burgers and tots are oh so good! Once I substituted my tots for fried breaded green beans. We noticed this place as we drove to West Yellowstone and it was packed. When we left the area we decided to stop and try it out. We are very happy we stopped and enjoyed some great food with great service. Our server was fantastic. She has a great personality and made our meal even more enjoyable. We chose the fried green beans and cheese curds for starters and they were great! Very addicting! The small shakes are a medium anywhere else and it was good, huckleberry is the one we got and it was very good. The staff here are very friendly!! Frostop serves very tasty huckleberry shakes. There is a pizzeria in Ashton serving huckleberry shakes, but Frostop's shake is far superior.

Took 1 hour to get food and the food was mediocre at best. Also very expensive for what you get. Shakes are not good.

We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for 5 shakes. So long that we turned our car off while waiting and then went to turn it on to leave and the battery had died. Shakes were not worth the wait or the needed jumpstart. read more

Just look for the giant Root Beer Float! Felt like we traveled through time and are visiting restaurant from the past. Waitress were sweet and friendly and made our shakes & floats within minutes. Didn't try their food because it was pricey. Most burgers ran for about $10. Like most recommended, try their Root Beer Float or shakes. They are both served with soft serve ice cream. read more

Old school burger and rootbeer joint in Ashton. If you are driving to Yellowstone and need a quick bite, this is an option. We stopped here on our way to Montana based on the 4 star rating and quick food. The joint has seen some serious days and unfortunately the building shows it. When you drive up, do not expect anything new as the decor is eclectic, unique, and old. I will admit that the old unique decor was my favorite part of my visit. There are some cool salt and pepper shakers everywhere. Completely random, but cool. The bathroom is located outside in the back (think old gas station setup) and is rough. The interior is dated and warm out. I ordered the burger and rootbeer. The rootbeer tasted like A&W to me. The burger was ok as the bun was a bit stale. The burger itself lacked flavor and juiciness. The fries/tots were nothing special. I would only reccomend this joint if you are in need of a quick bite in Ashton. Other than that, the 4 star rating is very generous imo. Cheers Always! read more

Huckleberry shake and raspberry shake were both delicious! There were so many huckleberries that they clogged up the straw! They make a pup cup here that rivals anywhere else. Finally I got to eat here! I have had this please bookmarked for years. I give it five stars for many reasons. The huckleberry milkshake is the best milkshake I've ever had. You can't go wrong with huckleberry that they have perfected the shake. Plus I love that the Haacke berries are pigs local down by the lake. I loved their hamburger. I got the Swiss mushroom hamburger. the only improvement I would do with the hamburger is maybe do fresh mushrooms. My girls got the bacon cheeseburger along with my hubby and they all loved it. The fries and tater tot's were super yummy. The service was great, The restaurant was so cute I love the old fashion feeling, the location was adorable, The root beer was awesome tasting!
