The tenders were fine but leaned heavy into the breading vs the chicken. The sauces were solid though. I liked the bbq, buffalo, and honey mustard. For a family of 5, we were able to feed everyone for just under $100, which honestly is not terrible in 2026. The food does what it needs to do to provide some sustenance before or after some gambling in the casino.

After double-checking, the chef confirmed it was gluten-free. Something didn't seem right, so we asked to see the packaging. Wheat was listed as an ingredient. Thankfully, we caught the mistake before eating it. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, two of the gluten-free meals were still served with gluten-containing items, including a flour tortilla and the same bread we'd already identified as not gluten-free. The food itself was actually delicious, and I wish I could leave a more positive review based on that alone. However, for anyone with celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or a serious gluten sensitivity, accurate ingredient information is not optional--it's a health and safety issue. Was there an inside? A quick tip: you'll need a key to access the restrooms. I noticed several people walk over only to discover the door was locked, so I made sure to ask for the key. According to their website, this place has a fascinating history--it once served as a miner's supply store before becoming a hotel. I believe there are still rooms available, as I noticed you can reserve cabins with twin and queen beds. While I might not stay in a cabin myself, I would definitely return for the food.

Staff were also very friendly and personable. Bathrooms needed a key since anyone off the highway can stop in and use them, but they were clean.
