It was good, but the only "gripe" was we thought it was avocado toast, which it's not. 1/4th of an avocado comes on the side. Not a deal breaker by any means... I got the Turtle Latte (house-made caramel + chocolate sauce + pecan syrup) and my girlfriend got The Hummingbird Latte (house-made pecan sauce + cinnamon + banana syrup). Worst service we've had in awhile. Took 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. Server came to our table and said "I'm really tired." My friend ordered a Bloody Mary. After asking for his ID the waiter told my friend it was expired and handed it back. Friend showed him it wasn't expired to which he apologized. I ordered the Huevos Rolando's with scrambled eggs. Order came, the tortillas were stale and the eggs were cooked well done fried eggs. Huevos Rolando's is a soup so don't be surprised when you get a soup. Two people in our group didn't get their coffee until the meal was almost finished. They were kind enough to exchange my meal with a breakfast sandwich and cut the price in half. Still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Maybe with better service and a better description of the menu it could be a good experience. read more

Super cute coffee shop and restaurant in 12 south area. They serve breakfast until 5pm so I got a breakfast bagel sandwich with egg, cheddar, bacon, and added avocado smash. The salmon was cooked to perfection, delicately flakey and melt-in-your-mouth tender, with just the right amount of flavor while preserving the natural beautiful taste of the fish itself. The potatoes had nice seasoning with different herbs including I believe thyme and rosemary. The hot sauce provided was just the right pairing. My husband got the "California," which came with fresh alfalfa, crispy bacon, perfectly ripe avocado, eggs over medium, and sourdough toast. He got the spice spice baby latte, which I liked better than my turtle latte. Both were delicious but the spice spice is a seasonal drink and felt right for autumn. There's stairs up to a loft type area, a small coffee shop with bar seating, a section of regular tables up front, and a more secluded set of tables to the rear of the shop. On this first visit, I enjoyed an espresso (smooth, rich, served with sparkling water on the side), an adult grilled cheese (possibly the best variation of grilled cheese I've ever had), and a side of locally sourced sausage patties. I also had a snickerdoodle cookie, but that was less exciting-- the selection of baked goods is limited compared to the typical coffee shop. Visited this location while we were touring Nashville, Tennessee. A local neighborhood restaurant with a great reputation. We went into the spot after waiting about 15 minutes. Meanwhile we toured a local art gallery and took up some time enjoying the Nashville scene. Because all the tables were full with a waiting list to get inside, our group of four ordered the farmhouse, breakfast, and the omelettes. All were done exceptionally well. Our waitress suspected we were from out of town and stopped by for a chat. She had a series of very nice recommendations that we did in the City. Medium size line, stood for 20+ minutes Just to place an order. Then, waited 20 more to get our coffees. Seriously? Finally got our table. Ordered 10 minutes later. Then another wait for food. At least 20 minutes. Servers were outstanding, nothing personal. But simply awful service. Quality and quantity of food also sub-standard. Nothing noteworthy, nothing special. Will never go again. Y'all. This food was AMAZING! First of all, the choices of coffee can't be beat. I had Milk's Favorite Coffee. It seriously tasted like a hot chocolate glow up! The dark chocolate was just the right amount of butter and the sweetness made it melt in my mouth. As for the food, WOAH. The grit bowl was to die for. I got it with the over medium egg and I can honestly say I've never had an over medium egg cooked so perfectly before. The staff is friendly and attentive and the whole atmosphere is chill. Came here while on vacation with friends in Nashville because we had heard good things. We stopped by for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. The location was cute with ample seating - in the front, a backroom, and upstairs. The employees were also very nice. I ordered one biscuit with gravy which was only $4.50, and a coffee. My friends got an omelet which looked super good and stuffed with fresh ingredients like sauteed spinach, lots of cheese and crispy bacon. I am only deducting a star because although they weren't super busy, it took a while to get our food. My friends also ordered mimosas and they forgot to bring them which added more waiting time where they had to actually go downstairs and request their drinks. But overall, great experience and if I lived in the area I could see this as a regular easy breakfast spot to come with friends or alone to chill and maybe even read or get some work done. read more

while the food and service was impeccable, it was very uncomfortable watching and hearing the manager berate her staff. She yelled at a server and brought them to tears. After complimenting our own server, the manager replied,"I'm glad you think so and walked away angry" it was very weird and made out whole party uncomfortable.
