My wife and I agreed that this was closest to Lou Malnatis for those seeking a Chi town comparison. We chose the Abe Froman. There was a bit less sausage than the comparison pie, but was still excellent. The sausage was clearly high quality and the sauce was also quite good. The crust was also excellent. This is truly a wonderful pie that will give you a nice feel for what Chicago deep dish is all about. For those getting sticker shock, remember this will give 2-3 solid meals for two people. Thanks to Barbi (sp?) as she did a really nice job working the entire room while we were there. It was a pretty full house and she kept drinks topped off and checked in often.
