Two things. One the yogurt gets to soft if more than one person in front of you gets the same flavor. Two. They always run out of Oreo whipped cream and it takes too long to make a new batch. They should just buy a back up aerosol container with Oreo batch ready. read more

Yogurtland has some serious competition now. You can't compare this Tutti Frutti to other TFs because it's just not fair. This TF, which opened on Friday, April 3rd, 2009, stands out from the rest because it markets towards students from local schools and Cal State Long Beach students. With Yogurtland on the other side of the CSULB campus, TF reaches a different market, and they really succeed in doing so. The interior is more square-shaped than Yogurtland, so there is more room to walk around, and there are more places to sit. There are plenty of tables for students to get work done at. The best part? They offer FREE Wi-Fi. There are enough outlets around for people to charge their laptops here while they enjoy some frozen yogurt and get some work done. They also play music videos on two large flat-panel screens. The staff are quite friendly, ranging from college students to young adults. Sixteen flavors of frozen yogurt are offered, as well as numerous toppings; when I last went though, I only got the Orange Sorbet flavor without toppings. By the way, unlike other TFs, the yogurt here is $0.30 per ounce, same as Yogurtland! You can also sign up for a TF membership card, which lets you get 10% off your purchase just for showing it, no strings attached! Also, CSULB students get 10% off! If you have both, you get both discounts! Awesome cheap froyo!! The only downsides I can point out are the location and parking. This TF is part of a building that has a Starbucks and Domino's, and there is a Subway and Del Taco in front, the latter of which completely blocks TF from street view. The parking lot is quite small for all the businesses there, and many of the spots are too compact, or marked for 20-minute parking (green). There are random red parking spots too, which does not make much sense. The pavement of the parking lot is uneven. When I last visited, I ended up parking on the other side of Subway, which equated to about a minute walk from my car to TF. Still though, I can apply these downsides to the rest of the businesses around, yet they still get a lot of business. Tutti Frutti is the absolute place to be. Come for frozen yogurt, stay to get some work done, come back again for the atmosphere. read more

Why does this place have 4 stars?? Okay, so the basic flavors are okay, but let me tell you to any Peanut Butter flavor fans out there: SINGLE WORST PEANUT BUTTER YOGURT EVER! I literally threw mine away without even eating it - THAT gross. read more

So happy this Tutti Frutti opened nearby. It's north of Cal State Long Beach, and is much less crowded, and the yogurt and toppings are just as good to Yogurtland south of CSULB. Parking here is indeed not great, but it's still much better than the parking than the Yogurtland/Ralphs lot. The interiors are very clean ... style-wise, it's interchangeable with Yogurtland, Pinkberry or Cantaloop. The taro is really good, and the chocolate much richer than typical froyo choc. Love this frozen yogurt place! The first thing I noticed was that the place was spotless and the staff was friendly. And the biggest deal for us was that my daughter has a severe peanut & treenut allergy and the owner took his time to look up all of the flavors she wanted to try to make sure they were safe for her. i'm getting to the point where i'm being recognized at this place. this means i have a froyo problem. but it's the best problem to have. there are weekly (ok, twice-weekly) trips to tutti frutti in full effect. at first, it was because there was nothing closer, but then it became because it's freaking awesome. they have a new seasonal flavor, the pumpkin spice. it. is. fantastic. (my personal favorite add-ins: graham cracker and peanuts. ohmygod mouth-splosion of goodness) this place is always clean, and they don't hesitate to let you try a few sample cups of flavors if you're feeling indecisive when faced with their wall-o-yogurt. nutritional information is available on their website, but really, isn't the fun of DIY places like this just to throw caution to the wind and go for the towering mountain of tasty? i think so. read more

Came here with my fiance for a quick froyo fix. They had these new "TF Puff" samples in front. Tried it and it was decent enough to order a whole. They told me it was a 5 min wait because they bake it fresh. Boy, it was nothing like the sample.. It was amazing! Must try! Here's mines with custard froyo, strawberries, bananas (freshly cut), and a waffle straw drizzled with hot fudge and whipped cream. You will not be disappointed! read more

Went today at 9:30pm. Love that they're open late. It was a little busy but not too crowded. They did have three people working so things moved pretty quickly. Frozen yogurt is now $.35 an ounce. Not bad for what i got. I love that it's self serve and that you put the toppings on yourself. Couldn't believe how many choices they had for toppings (loved the cookies and cream whipped cream!). All three workers kept busy which was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes you go to these types of places and the workers are just chillin', but the ones tonight were constantly cleaning or helping customers. This is THE BEST frozen yogurt I have ever tasted. I'm bummed they got rid of the chocolate covered strawberry flavor, but they still have some really good flavors. The store always looks really clean (including the bathroom) and the people who work there are always really nice. I'm not sure how they do this since all the employees look like they are 16 years old, but they are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, this place is just a knock-off of Yogurt Land. Just a variation of it. The yogurt isn't bad but why try and fight someone for a parking space then get the same yogurt as YogurtLand, when you can just go to YogurtLand???? It is a great little frozen yogurt spot in a convenient location. It is very well priced and I love the fact that it is open till 11pm. They have a great selection and I rarely ever see a machine not in operation. The selection of topping is good and I do love my fruit. If yogurt were a dimension, then I would dive straight into Tutti Frutti. This place catches much more than just the eye. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and the cleanliness is overwhelming. You can't help but notice the decor with its bright colors that all but seem to scream the word fruit. Walking in is an experience in itself. My first time to Tutti Frutti of Long Beach, I didn't know what to try first. The selection is amazing and they are more than happy to give you sample cups. I must say I am pretty boring when it comes to flavors, nothing can quite beat strawberry-banana for my taste buds, however, their Taro flavor was unique and the Cookies n Cream hit the spot that Yogurtland missed with its watery consistency. Tutti Frutti's yogurt is creamy, without being ICE CREAMY, which is more than I can say for other yogurt shops. Moving down the line of yogurts will take you to topping paradise. I love that they have condensed milk, and they peel & chop bananas per request rather than having them hang out for hours. If you make it past the topping counter you may just be lucky enough to meet a very interesting employee named America. And yea, she will say it's like the country. Workers like this make new places worthwhile. I ultimately recommend this place to yogurt lovers everywhere, it's funky, it's fresh, and it's equipped with free Wi-Fi. read more
