Good Box Organics is not only convenient, with the food being delivered right to my door, but is entirely healthy as well. The owners Samantha and Mark started this business in 2010 and have a mission of creating a healthier future. The best part is they work with local farmers to get all their produce and find multiple ways to give back to the community. They also have their Support a School program where they donate 5% back from every box sold. They have different boxes to choose from and different sizes as well. Some boxes are fruits only and others include fruits and vegetables. I went with the half size fruit and vegetable box. Before delivery, you get an email of what is going to be inside the box and the best part for me is, it includes recipes of what you can make with the items in your box. My box included an avocado, pears, apples, oranges, broccoli, cilantro, pink chard, and lettuce. One of the recipes included Baked Broccoli Parmesan Fritters which I am definitely going to try out because I always need new ideas for meals with having two small children. The delivery fee for their boxes is $6.95 or you can pick up the boxes for free at many of their local pickup locations. The service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley so definitely something for everyone!

The farmers are kind and good people. The produce is local, fresh, and can't be matched. The small team that makes this company work are AMAZING individuals. Sam and Mark are truly two of the kindest and most genuine people in my life. I couldn't recommend supporting a small local company more. I genuinely mean it.

It has been surprisingly difficult to find truly fresh fruits, vegetables, and produce, but this place pretty much had it all. They carry a wide variety of seeded fruits and produce from different parts of the world, and everything looked fresh and natural rather than overly processed or mass-produced. I'm almost hesitant to leave this review because I don't want the spot to get so popular that I can never find the fruit I'm looking for again. The woman working behind the register was also extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. She allowed my brother and me to sample a few fruits that were new to us and gave us background and insight into where they came from and what made them unique. I would absolutely recommend Sasoun Produce, especially for health fanatics and anyone who may not get the opportunity to travel but still wants to experience fruits from different parts of the world. Ten out of ten.

Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly as well! I loved the entire experience and found myself smiling throughout the store! Haha! It truly was an excitable experience! International | What a variety of seasonal and exotic produce! I was amazed by so many items that I've never seen or even heard of before, including green almonds with the outer shell, which felt like velvet! I also saw some of the biggest heirloom tomatoes ever! I felt like a kid in a candy store, however, it was delicious and colorful fruit instead! I enjoyed every moment of discovering of new items! Variety is key | There was definitely a variety of price points, some higher than others! You choose what works for you! Inside | Neat and tidy! Many items were lined up ,which I love! The prices were clear, front and center! I absolutely loved that! There was also a sign showing where in the world the items were from, so cool! Sightings | While exploring the store with my Chef friend, I was introduced to another Chef and she was fun to speak to as well! It was fun, checking out the large tea section with her! Also, fun running into a recording artist that I listen to on a regular basis and chatting, as well as being invited to her upcoming event! What a fun & popular store! Checkout | Customer service was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the store, as I interacted with several people who answered my questions easily, and with a smile! I ended up getting delicious, stuffed dates, sesame cookies, a fruit called mamey sapote & another exotic fruit, which I can't think of the name of at the moment (Total $26)! My Chef friend got watermelon water & the recording artist got coconut water! Overall | Yes, please! I'm grateful that my Private Chef friend introduced me to this market! I'm still thinking about a few items inside of the market that I would definitely love to try! I'll definitely be back and thanks again for the inviting and fun experience! Who knew a supermarket could be so exciting?!! Let's go!

Local gem I've bookmarked for awhile, but finally was in the area to grab it. Super friendly lady who understands partial English if don't know Vietnamese. Visiting during traffic hours can be tough to get in and out. Cornered between 2 very busy streets with driveways into the plaza off both streets. Located on bottom floor in the plaza with waffle studio as corner landmark. Plenty of parking. I'm just guessing sizes...$6 large with ice, $7 extra large with ice. $7 small with no ice, $14 extra large with no ice. - $7 Sugarcane, and kumquat is sweet because of the sugarcane. It's the one of the most popular drinks. So loved it. If I have to order it for myself, I'll ask for less sugarcane cause I'm more sensitive to it. - $7 Pennywort and young coconut comes with small coconut shreds to snack on after AND no sweetener. Most places actually add too much sweetener. I'll probably ask for a tiny amount of sugarcane next time in this to balance the taste out. Place is full of goodies: - Drink fruits to some actually tropical fruits sold here are soursop (I got 2 to take home), jackfruit, kumquat, pennywort, passion fruit, sapodilla, durian, mango and more. - Fridges are stocked with goodies. They were ready to eat, cut Papaya $10, jackfruit $10, mango $5-$10, and durian. $10 for larger box size. Theres also passion fruit in a cup. Because I have a dairy allergy, lady was so nice to offer to make any smoothie without dairy. Wonder what she'll do, but happy to try next time. Or maybe I mis-heard her wrong? Guess I'll know next visit.

I went with a couple of friends for dinner- we were around the area and thought it was an opportune time to show them a place they weren't familiar with! I've been here since I was a kid, and though some things changed, alot hasn't! This was during a world cup game, so it was very lively at pub areas as they were broadcasting live. Everyone was so invested, from the patrons, chefs, servers, and even line cooks! Went to a stall selling the 'best corned beef sandwich' from Magee's kitchen. The servers and cook were super nice and the corned beef on display made my mouth water! It was very good, and paired with their blood orange soda, wasn't too heavy! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

A great experience for locals and tourists alike. Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the West of the Grove. It has busy parking lot which is usually quite full. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $56 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Make sure you check the parking rates sign by the entrance and plan accordingly. You can also park in the Grove's multi-story parking structure, but they will not accept validation from Farmer's Market businesses. The Grove also has Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice rustic but well-kept open air set up that has been around for almost 100 years! It is focused on local and international food. As you stroll through the market you will encounter gourmet food stores (such as Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Store), meat counters (such as Huntington Meats), takeout restaurants (such as Stara Polish Pierogi and Sausage, Banana Leaf Singaporean restaurant and Oh My Dumpling Chinese food), and fine dining restaurants (such as ETTORE OSTERIA Italian and Monsieur Marcel French Bistro). Once you are on premises you can use the Grove trolly to visit the (attached) Grove complex.
