Inviting atmosphere although a little on the smaller side. This impromptu lunch did not disappoint. Our server was patient and attentive and our food came out fairly fast for the amount ordered. The food was spectacular and the kangaroo steak fries were delicious. Portion sizes were way bigger than expected so everything was easy to share.

This is a nice, lowkey spot to visit with friends, grab a pint solo, or to just stop in and kill some time before a show! At 9pm on a Saturday, it wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. We ordered the beer flight and house-made seltzer alongside an order of the fried cauliflower & cheese curds. I thought it was very cool that they made their own seltzer- the drink was refreshing but slightly watery. Though I'm no ale expert, I thought that the holiday pint and lager from the flight were good. The cauliflower & cheese curds, however, were amazing! Both the cauliflower and cheese were unbelievably creamy and extra crispy. I really liked the subtle blue cheese dipping, which balanced the heat from the buffalo sauce well. I would definitely return for the vibes and cheese curds alone when in the area!

This place was an only ok experience for me. We sat at the bar and service was slow. They have their draft beer listed on wall, but unless you are seated right at the bar, difficult to read. We were not given menus, and their qr menus were wonky and difficult to work. My two ipas I tried had fun names, but only ok. They do offer 10 Oz pours which is nice. The Octoberfest that my husband had was probably my favorite. When they were running their dishwasher for their glassware, it had a strong urine like smell that was gross. They don't accept American Express.

Pretty solid food and a fun atmosphere. It's definitely worth the visit if you're looking for solid American food. I tried the DryHop Double Smash Burger and enjoyed it.

One of my favorite pizza place in Chicago!!! Little green men WONT disappoint you, specially if you love pistachios as I do. Also huge fan of lemon zest in pizza and they have a few with it that taste amazingly delicious like Fungus Among Us. And for starter definitely the cauliflower and curds (getting hungry reviewing this) The only thing they don't have is any kind of desserts but they're located in a good area where you can find some. However, it'd be handy to have a few for spontaneous bday song as I planned lol or wanted to... Although the pizzas are divine, they are also a brewery and have a very good selection of beer. Service is great at the bar or at the table, everyone is friendly and helpful. 100% recommended

DryHop Brewers is a great summer spot on Broadway! Patio vibes are immaculate, but even the inside was cute with the big front windows open. You can't really get a better deal than their $5 patio padre, and as for cocktails, the spicy pineapple marg was super good!! For food, we started with the cauliflower and curds- the serving was pretty big and they were delish. For mains, I got the Bbq-utie Pie and it was fine. I added chicken to it and it was really dry. The corn was also overly dry and kept getting stuck in my teeth. Partner got the roasted turkey sandwich was good, but nothing outstanding. I would definitely go back to sit on the patio and have a few drinks and apps, but would skip out on their mains.

that soft pretzel and the beer cheese is everything. I would get her again and again. the pizza eh. the flavors were good but she was wet and greasy and the dough wasn't fully cooked in some spots. def seems more like a beer and snacks place than a full meal type of girl

What a cool little brewery. The atmosphere is very cozy and quaint. I came here for dinner by myself and sat at the bar. The service was fast and very friendly. They have a small selection of house brewed beers and the two I ordered were delicious. For food I ordered the Lucky Duck Pasta and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever had, I was very pleasantly surprised. Prices are also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Love the space inside and outside: cozy brewery vibe and happening outdoor location - awesome beer selection at good prices, pretty solid food (awesome fries, and interesting flavor choice, little Green Men Pizza!), and super friendly service from hostess to bartender to waiter. Recommend!

The turkey sandwich was so good and so filling!! The beers are also all great and the staff is super friendly

I have no idea what's going on here, but the beer was all terrible. I previously had this problem at Crushed By Giants downtown, so I wonder if that brewer transferred here. The beers taste like they're either not well-made or not taken care of because they all have a homebrew-like flavor. I never waste a beer, but I couldn't even finish the hard seltzer. They also don't accept American Express, which is stupid.

John's is Michelin recommended so I said- sign me up. All I knew going in was the accolade and that the chef preferred to do hyper local- which im all about. The vibes are perfect IMO. Cozy, clean, organic shapes with that bar (see the featured photos). It also has a relaxed enough vibe that despite the prestige it is truly a more formal/casual vibe- being there on a sunday I saw a handful of small groups come in no res just looking for wine. The food itself was pretty good. I thought the pork collar was cooked well and they did what I was hoping a hyper local produce focused place would which is not over cook the vegetables and let them shine. One note: assume way more complexity than the menu displays. The pork itself for example is listed as just the pork veggies and with its sauce so my expectations were hesitant - but what made the dish great was the tang that comes from the seasoning/marinade. What really stood out to me though was the staff- it could be that I was there in a dead hour but everyone put me at ease as a single server at a table (v bar) and my server even gave me a taste of their amazing bandaged cheddar - which as a huge foodie really made my experience great. Because theres no way im easily grabbing that cheese. SO as well to their wine director Felix especially. He and I connected over the ceramics they feature (Monsoon Pottery- check her out) and when I spilled some sauce on my white shirt he was quick to get me some soda water and I heard him asking around for some shout. So- formal/casual place but I felt treasured. Which tbh is really what makes good restaurants different to me when youre hitting this price point in chicago. Plenty of POS fine trendy places down town.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who seated us outside as requested. To start, we ordered two piña coladas, which were perfect for the hot day. For food, we ordered the Parsons Big Dipper Platter, the three-piece fish fry, and Cindy's coleslaw. Let's start with the best part of the meal -- Cindy's coleslaw. It was creamy, flavorful, and exactly how coleslaw should be. The three-piece fish fry was tasty as well, although the batter was a bit too thick for my liking. The biggest disappointment was the Parsons Big Dipper Platter. According to the menu, it included hush puppies, chicken nuggets, and fried shrimp. Unfortunately, when the platter arrived, there was no shrimp included. We brought it to the waiter's attention, and only then were we informed they had run out of shrimp. It would have been nice to know that before ordering. It's surprising for such a busy restaurant to run out of an item that's featured on the menu. As for the service, unfortunately it was poor and inattentive. We constantly had to flag our waiter down anytime we needed something. Overall, the atmosphere was great, but the service and food inconsistencies made the experience disappointing. Not sure if we'll be returning.

The truffle-parmesan fries: We couldn't tell if they were too salty or just salty enough, but somehow we couldn't stop eating them!
