The Greek wrap is magnificent! The green goddess dressing will make you wonder why you even try any other kind because nothing tops it.

A couple of years ago when my wife got food poisoning from this place and on a separate occasion I was served by someone who was clearly stoned, we decided to not come here anymore. Then 6 months ago a friend of a friend spoke well of the owners, so I decided to give it another try. The food is fine and well worth buying, but on three recent occasions I waited 30-40 minutes from placing an order to getting it. That is a very long time and it's not like they had lots of customers each time. I would therefore rate the food 4-star and service 1-star. Love this place. They're strictly vegan but I ate here several times before that even occurred to me because they have so many yummy options! My favorite is the Billy's Blend smoothie for a quick but filling meal (and I don't usually like smoothies. It's that good), which is goat milk with dates and bananas. They have good (but limited variety) bakery type stuff too. The service can be slow especially if there's a line at the walk up window (which there almost always is) but it's on a quiet street with plenty of outdoor seating while you wait, and always an interesting variety of customers for people watching. read more

I just love this roadside smoothie-and-wrap stand. I tend to get the same thing every time - a California wrap and a smoothie. The wrap comes with a side salad and the two together is about two meals' worth of food for me. Get the goddess dressing on everything-it's remarkable. Garlic, tahini, herbs, magic. Figuring out when they're open is a challenge, and it's definitely not fast food, but it's one of my favorite NC stops. read more

The best food in Nevada County, CA. I was raised vegan and am mostly vegetarian now. The food here is always exceptional and satisfies whatever craving I might have when I arrive. Be patient because they cook it to order. There is a nice outside eating area if you order food to be eaten there. If you don't like to wait you can always call ahead. read more

Love this place! Another place found in my quest for fresh juice every day during our road trip. This place has a fun vibe, casual & laid back. Very California. :) We went seeking juice - they have a great variety (juices AND smoothies) and you can add just about anything to one of their existing combinations. The coffee was pretty good and lots of delicious, healthy food options (vegetarian and vegan.) I got the Eggle breakfast sandwich - it was LOADED with fresh spinach. Husband got the "pestaco" - a taco with beans, avocado, rice, etc and a pesto that he is still raving about. (He is finally starting to love my healthy eating ways.) We're in the area for another day, will definitely be stopping by tomorrow for another giant (24 oz!! for only $6!) fresh juice before heading out. (Plus, organic and fresh ingredients!) read more

you must try the "Dairy Less Date Shake"! it is awesome. We went as a large group so i got good feedback from most people. They have a very large portion of burritos and tacos that you should be aware of while placing the order! I wish it was closer to where i live cuz i can see myself going there often! We went there at an odd time (4 pm) so we were the only people there and our orders came out quick. I had the Kichari - its like "mac & cheese" for Indian folks - like comfort food but way healthier. Great juice and cafe type food and snacks in an awkward spot. The juices are delicious and it is truly insane how many options they offer.

I love this place it's organic and has so many great vegetarian/ vegan options. If you want simple & warm on a winter day I think the Kitchari & delicious Chai are best. The food and drinks are always so delicious! The service however is always super slow, and this time they screwed up two of our orders by giving us both the wrong bagels. Our drinks didn't come out until after we received our food as well. It's such a shame the food, when made correctly, is so good, but the service is ALWAYS maddening. Fudenjuce is a wonderful little place on the side of the road. I come here all the time for their huge list of smoothies, and amazing rice bowls. The atmosphere is sweet and homey, just like what I would expect from a little hippie cafe in Nevada County. I am always greeted with a smile and experience great service and big proportions of food for such an inexpensive price. Right down the street from my favorite thrift store in NC and our local grocery store. There is no place better to get a quick bite of comfort food with a delicious drink to top it off than here. All vegetarian with a few options for those who aren't totally vegan. I would suggest the Happy Fun bowl, with spinach, olives, basil, tomato, and cheddar cheese over brown rice. read more

We're going for lunch (almost) every Thursday there, it's really good organic vegetarian and vegan food. They have soup (not always though), wraps, bowls and bagels on the food side; lots of yummy shakes, smoothies and hot drinks. Sometimes they have some bakery too for dessert. I am putting a 4 star only, because sometimes they are a bit slow when a lot of people show up at the same time, and a bit because of the prices too. But it comes with a lot of really good food (esp. the wraps are huge); don't hesitate to ask for a "mini" wrap, cheaper and far enough sufficient. read more

This was my first experience at Fudenjuce. A very relaxed chill place. A very good menu of healthy choices. My quesadillas was delicious. My friend ordered a Mediterranean wrap. When almost finished my friend bit into something. It turned out to be a small shard of broken glass. He showed the staff and they were very apologetic. They did not offer to compensate us for the meal. They seem bewildered as to how it could have happened. My friend was not injured thank goodness. This place is great. Super healthy. I've had the Mexicana wrap a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. Then another time I had Darryl's salad. It has cous cous and home made falafel.
