Food: zero stars. This was probably the worse food I had in a long time. The food was HOT and we had it within 3 or 4 minutes... microwaved? I think the carrots were the best thing. We spit out a quarter of it and threw the other half away so eat about 25% of it. Taste.... almost zero maybe COVID-19 had something to do with it? Trying to find something positive. Price: very over priced for the quality of food! There is a better place in town the cost more however I would give that place 4 or 5 stars so.... I would say save your money and eat a McD's or the other Japanese place. This place is like a low end Japan.... Chinese place. Drive Thur.... um... you drive around the building to place your order then come back to the right side of the building. It was confusing everyone. That should have been our first clue. I've always liked Fuji, but my visit today may be the last. When I pulled to the window to order I had to wait for the order-taker to finish his personal phone call on his earbuds. That should have been a warning. I ordered a seafood combination which is supposed to have crab, scallops, and shrimp in it. I found the shrimp and bay (small) scallops, there was no crab. It had been replaced with chicken with nobody bothering to tell me. I would have taken it back, but I live too far away. Additionally, the "vegetables" in the mix consisted of broccoli, mushrooms, and onion. The mushrooms were ok, but the broccoli was cooked to the point of being limp, also when I picked it up you could see where it had been cut had not been washed or trimmed. The onions were ok, but wholly cow was there a lot of them! I guess they are a cheap filler. I also ordered an order of spring rolls. I am not kidding when I say that when I opened the package they were TINY. Not only were they tiny, but they weren't even half full. Very disappointing. I recognize everyone has a bad day, but for the prices they charge, you shouldn't have the wheels fall off like that on one order. It will be awhile before I go back. read more

And instead of real crab, they tried to pass off shurimi, which is sweetened pollack, and a poor substitute. First off - this isn't Japanese cuisine at all. They should just change their name to Chinese. We ordered the chicken and steak; sesame chicken; miso soups; and cheese wontons for DINE-IN. We were given all food in to-go Styro boxes. It's as if they discourage dining in. Everything tasted like any other Chinese food, only on the bland side. Even their fortune cookies tasted stale. They were about the only place open on a Christmas Eve so we really don't have a lot of options. To start this off gotta say this place is why I downloaded this app, however the drive-through is super complicated and confusing with a bunch of signs that make it difficult to understand how to order properly. Now on To the food, the best part about the food was the Shrimp sauce had a good sweet flavor, but be sides that the chicken was terrible and was very disappointing. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved, me and my father continue to spit the chicken out because of how hard and uneatable the chicken was.It was so bad that we ended up throwing it away after only a few bites. The rice had no flavor just like like the chicken, however the food look really good but don't be fooled because it's the complete opposite! Truly I wouldn't go back there again. My daughter and I ate here today Tuesday feb 27 2024, and we drove around the building to the window we waited and waited then finally someone showed up to the window (wish o would have just driven away) but I ordered two chicken meals with fried rice and extra yum yum sauce and two lg drinks. First we got the smallest cups of drink I have ever seen, secondly the food was way overpriced. Lastly the guy at the window was not very personable he was rude and had no expression, it's almost as if he hated his job. I drove around the other side to pick up my food and we drove somewhere to park to eat it. The food to me had no taste we had lots of mushrooms and hardly no chicken. I was very disappointed. Now on to the fun part... as I was driving home I started to get very nauseous and felt my stomach rumbling needlessly to say I was on the toilet the rest of the day due to this food. First let me say that the food was good but not good to my intestines, hours on the toilet were spent after dining here. The steak was not worth it for all that trouble. The food overall was decent at best, the atmosphere felt dulled out in the restaurant just did not feel clean. But if you're ready to spend a day on the toilet in this place is where you need to go. Another comment that I would like to add is that I genuinely do not think a drive-through and Japanese food go together, more or less a yogurt bar. My mother in law and I decided to try this place out the other night after a day of shopping.. Bad idea. I ordered the orange chicken entree and she ordered the coconut chicken..Both tasted undercooked and just bad. I filled up on the side of rice and took it as a lesson learned. We won't be going back to this place. We should have just went to Panda Express like we planned. Their food is always cooked all the way through and fresh. You have to drive around the building to place your order at the pick up window, then drive around again to pick up the order at the order window. The food that I had was not good. Very impressed by the taste and quality of the food. It was very good, I ordered the shrimp soba noodles it came with mixed veggies and some shrimp, could have been a couple more shrimps but overall very satisfied. My friend ordered the filet mignon and chicken dinner that also came with mixed veggies and rice. He was also happy. We like the fact that there is a drive thru as well so we could easily bring our food and enjoy it at our house. We will be back. read more

These people are horrid. Not only were they extremely rude they did not give us the correct change back and when we showed them the receipt they yelled at us. The honey carrots are pretty good though, but the rest of the major ingredients are bland, bland, bland. There's a case to be made here for MSG. And then there's the rice - which is probably the lowest quality rice I've ever seen. It's fine, and nutritious, but again without flavor or form. The rice needs to be upgraded to Jasmine or Basmati or Texmati or basically anything at all. All the food is prepared very quickly and the drive-thru window is very handy and efficient. If you just need to quickly pull off the Interstate and get some generous amount of Chinese-ish bulk food in your stomach, this will scratch the itch. If you're looking for flavor and quality however, keep driving another 12 miles down the road to Bristol, where there is a more competitive Asian restaurant environment. read more

Okay this place has been opened in Abingdon, VA for maybe a month and a half. I am a sucker for Japanese but I am so disappointed in the kindest of words. Forgive the fact I am a chef but realize I like and enjoy mainframe dining and chain restaurants as well we all are human. The place was okay not too inviting but I was getting take out so no biggie. I ordered what typically get from any Japanese restaurant. Shrimp and Scallops with the usually ideas that are included in the meal. Got home ready to settle down and enjoy my dinner. The rice was stale and dry, they must make it early. The honey carrots were okay. The shrimp were okay but the bay, very small, Scallops were a huge let down, I have never gotten Bay Scallops at any other Japanese restaurant. So the price was or should have not been more than the better, well known, high rated and loved restaurants in at least a 35 mile radius. I have to say if you would eat about anything this is the place for you. Although the lady ahead of me raved about it but may be new to the true aspect of Japanese cuisine. read more

My wife and I went there yesterday. Its very hard for them to understand English. Word of advice get google translate if you go.They can't understand English. My wife ordered for both of us. I went to bathroom- it was the nastiest bathroom I've ever seen. We were waiting on our food forever.
