Service was good, the lady came in reasonable gaps to ask how we were doing so I appreciate it. We got the two for 35 deal which came with 4 pcs of California roll, an app, and two rolls. Felt like some Japanese food and while coming through Turlock my usual spot was closed and this spot was just right up the street so I had to try it out. The sushi is great. The service and ambience are a bit lacking, which is why I took off a star. I called to place an order and the woman who I spoke with was loud and abrasive. I was all hyped up. I really wanted this place to be good but unfortunately it was just ok. I got a dragon and a california roll and my friend got a bento box with chicken katsu. We were starving so I totally blew it and didn't take pictures. My California roll was lame, there was more philly cheese than anything else. I get it inflation and what not, but come on... a little more crab and less cheese would be great. The service was just okay. Nothing above and beyond. As a matter of fact there was a lady who I'm guessing was a manager and/owner who was on the phone and was being super loud. Do they not have an office where they can conduct their business out of? The dining area is certainly not it. There's plenty of parking. I didn't use the restrooms. There are other sushi places in Turlock and unfortunately I will not be coming back to this one. I been coming here for about 9 months since i moved to Turlock, CA. The service has been great and the food quality good also. The only thing i do not like is the costumer Service. I always get the stink eye when i asked for spicy mayo. Note, I always spend more than $30 every-time i place an order here. Today, After placing an order for pick up, i asked for 4 contain of spicy mayo, and the lady said, " I can only give 3, and will need to charge 50c for 1 more" This is usually fine with me but all of the sudden, she wants to charge me 50c after never ever charging me for them. Possibly the worst customer service I've ever seen in my extensive eating out experience. The food is subpar, and can be made at home for all the trouble they make it seem to serve you. I've been to multiple cuisine type restaurants, this one takes the 1st place for worst place. The ambience is nonexistent inside, you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome here. This has been a spot i usually go to when i'm feeling like sushi and they've never disappointed! It also has the best spicy edamame i've had and is definitely my favorite! Usually love Fuji, actually it has been my go to for sushi. I got four rolls and they tasted sour, and the mayo looks curled. I called and asked if they had changed the mayo and the lady said no it the same. I told her I was disappointed because we go often and the rolls were inedible and the only thing she said was that they hadn't had any complaints today. Unfortunately we had to throw out $40 worth of sushi. Bummed that they would not offer to remake it, double check it, or give us a refund. read more

NO WHERE in this restaurant does it say they will automatically charge a Tip of 15-20% on top of a bill if they serve more than 8 guests per table. When we questioned about it to the lady after receiving our bill, she said "that's what we do if it's over" over what? But yet she NEVER came by to ask us if "everything was okay?", "do you need anything else?", "any refills?", or even "do you need boxes?". I don't mind tipping at all, I usually tip in cash anyway. But I mind if the tip is FORCED & the customer service was not great. & now I see why it's forced. On the side note, the Sushi was IGHT, not even ALRIGHT.
