Came to try out this place last night!! The portions are to big for one person we took 2 boxes home !! I ordered sea scallops they were fishy and had a bad taste I didn't eat them!! This place is very good and one that I go to often. They have the standard sushi items as well hibachi. One unique item to mention that I highly recommend is the spicy seaweed salad. It's like regular seaweed salad that has been marinated in a chili sauce and it's delicious (but it is spicy so beware). Their sashimi may seem overpriced but the two pieces are very thick and would normally be equal to four pieces at other most restaurants (see picture). Well, it's definitely NOT Benihana! Kinda dirty inside, bathrooms were a mess. our server dropped dishes behind me and left the dirty towels on the floor. Soup was okay, miso dressing had mayo or something in it, sake warm, not hot and the soy ginger dipping sauce was not flavorful. They were handing out to-go boxes way too early. Came here tonight with some friends and I was impressed! To be honest from the outside it didn't look that great, but the parking lot was full and our friends highly recommended it. I finally decide to Oder, and chose the Shrimp Tempura Bento Box. The waitress then snatched the menu from me. Whoa! Woman, don't snatch from me. That waitress was saved by my companion, who at that very moment asked for a soda. Ugh! Moving on, our food arrived. The sushi was missing from mine and the rice from my companion's meal. Ms. Rude Waitress promised both would be out very shortly. They were. The food was De-Yummy! Included on my plate were four shrimp, one each, mushroom cap, sweet potato round, broccoli, calamari, all tempura fried! Additionally, there was white rice and sushi. I loved it! Overall we had a pretty great experience this past Friday and surprisingly, for the mount of rolls we ordered, we did not, I repeat, did not break the bank (but I'm sure we broke our diets! )! The sushi and rolls here are definitely well priced. The decor is very nice. Modern with a dash of glam. Our server (Jenna) was super pleasant and informative. She was also very quick on the water refills. The sushi rolls came out wicked fast. We ordered 4 to start (shrimp tempura, rainbow, crazy roll, and Alaskan roll) and they were a decent 8 piece size all on one beautifully arranged plate. Then we decided to go for 2 more rolls(dancing eel roll and spicy scallop), again, on one plate beautifully arranged... And since that wasn't enough we finished off with one of their special rolls(golden dragon). This roll was pretty large and delicious. With a bit of a kick to it and a tasty mango sauce drizzled over it. Very good. They also have happy hour Monday through Thursday 4-7 I believe. However, like I said we ordered all of that with tax it was $59+ tax & tip. But wait, there's more! They always post a $10 off $40 coup on Facebook so we got all of that sushi for $50 ish! I just had the absolute most horrible experience. I have a gluten intolerance and called earlier in the day that it would not be a problem. I get to fujiama and the party also at the table refused to have gluten free soy sauce. I asked if i could switch tables and i was told no because the rest of the table needed to agree on gluten free soy sauce and i was not allowed to bring it up. I felt so alienated and just horrible. I immediately called bennihana and asked if this would be an issue. She said no mame we will just cook your party's food first and then the rest of the table.
