When my daughter needed a last-minute appointment for an event, I was excited to find them and booked right away. Since I had secured the appointment, I stopped looking elsewhere. They had several openings with two stylists throughout the afternoon, so I assumed we were all set. About 45 minutes before the appointment, I got a call saying they had to reschedule because "the girl had to go home." No apology, no offer to move us to another stylist, no real concern -- just a matter-of-fact cancellation. It was a Saturday, they had plenty of availability, and it genuinely felt like they just didn't want to stay for a new client. I ended up with a disappointed child and no time to find another option. In hindsight, all those open time slots (and the website photos) should have been a warning sign. Really disappointing experience. I won't be booking again.

I watched as 7 receipts came through my email account and text and wanted to write down the correct total and the owner became angry that I did not understand her credit system quickly enough. I called my credit card company and they looked at the pending authorizations and when the final charges did post, the total did not match what the owner had told me it should be. The sum of each hair service did match the total on the account, so I assumed her total was wrong. After creating this problem, the owner acted nasty and didn't want to work with me which is the reason for the review. Inquiry in to BBB.

She is so quick and efficient with the root touch up and is great to talk to throughout the whole process. My biggest pet peeve with dark hair coloring is when residual color is stained on my forehead but she always ensures I leave with no leftover color stains on my skin! Neither the stylist (Trish) nor the makeup artist (Preeti) paid any attention whatsoever to what I asked for, and both were very resistant to make any changes and just told me they could do things differently on my wedding day. Um. Not the point of a trial. Maybe it was late in the day and they wanted to go home, or had bad days, whatever, but it sucked. Plus I went with two friends and they were made to feel about as uncomfortable as guests could possibly feel--in a basically empty salon. I left feeling absolutely terrible about myself, with an updo that frizzed out within two hours, and makeup I washed off when I got home it made me so unhappy. (Also: when a makeup artist stabs you in the eye, it happens; but they should probably say a quick "sorry" rather than point out how now they're going to have to redo your bottom lid liner.) I left a voicemail at the salon saying I was unhappy with services and canceling my bridal appointment. They did not call back.
