Yes I wish it was outdoor just because I want to imagine I'm on a race track and I want to be able to roll across the curbs to carve a shorter line through the course rather than be bumped back by the bumpers. However, being inside is great for all year fun. The karts go fast enough considering the course is a bit tight. I wouldn't mind a slightly longer course that allows you to open it up a bit more, but that being said, this requires a lot more finesse and concentration which helps you improve your driving skills. I do wish you could see your lap times while you are racing, however, I understand their reasoning behind not distracting the drivers. I have mixed feelings about the group racing vs just solo lap timing. It's a lot more fun with a group, but depending on who's driving at the same time, you won't be able to get your fastest lap times. They are very professional and have a good instructional video, safety training, safety gear, etc. They take it seriously and that's great. It's a nice facility with some other fun games to keep your occupied, like slot cars. I was surprised by how fun this was and I would definitely do it again. read more

Pros: 1) The Go-Karts are fast, handle well and feel safe 2) There are other things to do while you wait for your race such as playing air hockey, pool, foosball and slot car racing. Cons: 1) It is definitely pricey, it was $22 for 8 minutes of racing but if you compare it to similar places across the country I think its fairly reasonable Overall a great experience and will definitely be back! read more

Was there for Full Throttle's opening weekend with my 2 sons and we have raced about 20 times since... Most fun I have had behind the wheel since I participated in the Jeff Gordon NASCAR experience (8 hot laps around the Kentucky Speedway @ 141 mph)... The karts are blazingly fast, the track is challenging, and when you include 7 of your friends at the same time it becomes an experience you talk about for a long time. I have had the pleasure of participating and sponsoring a few corporate events at Full Throttle and each experience exceeded my expectations. The staff made sure everyone was having a great time and the facility was able to accommodate our numbers and they even allowed us to bring in a catered dinner. Conference center is perfect for team building exercises before heading out to the track for some racing. I recommend Full Throttle to all my business associates and friends who are looking to host a corporate or team building event. Full Throttle is the best indoor racing facility in the area. Just took my teenage daughter here today. Had a great time. The go karts are quite fast and superior to a lot of the go kart tracks you find at your typical tourist area. The track is nicely laid out and is indoor, so you can comfortably race regardless of the weather. We both enjoyed our time on the track and agreed we would do it again. I definitely recommend it if the idea of go kart racing sounds like fun to you. FYI- the have kid karts too, so looking like it would be good even if you kids are on the younger side. read more

Loved the racing! Long wait. One of my friends has been raving about this place for weeks so we finally went. After registering and paying, they told us that there would be a two hour wait to get in on a race time. Since we had four of us we figured that there would be a wait so we ended up leaving to get dinner and came back. They were doing construction on the larger track, so we traced on half the track which ended up being about 15 laps. I was surprised by how fast the Go Karts could go on that little track. It was so much fun! After your race, the print out sheets with your statistics. They look at your best time around the track, and your relationship to the other cars on the track. I was curious to see how my stats lined up with other women who have raced here before but they don't break the stats down and that way. Now that I know what to expect, I definitely want to do this again and race much faster! LOL read more

I went here for a business team building event for axe throwing and go-karting. It was a lot of fun and the employees were nice. Went back a few days later with just my wife and went ace throwing. Full Throttle is a great place to get your racing addiction satisfied in the winter months. What most people don't realize is that these are "real" racing carts, not the beaters that are used at most midway places (which can also be fun - don't get me wrong). These carts are capable of very high speeds and are very sensitive to driver inputs. So you can't just drive around with the throttle mashed and hope to slide around the turns DukesOfHazzard style. If you pay attention, and use your head, you can get around the track pretty fast. This is a new business and I think they have gotten their groove lately. Everything feels well thought out and the racing is pretty intense. With the addition of the slot cars in the main waiting area I think there is a bit more for people that are not racing to do. I have heard that they are limited in how much stuff they can put in the main area because of the lease agreement (apparently Dave & Busters has some clause regarding nearby entertainment). I would love to see some more activities in the main area, maybe some micro RC cars or something. Overall this is a great addition to the Cincinnati area for the racing addicted. :) Bradman read more

Way over priced for what you get. I spent $50 for a 3 hour window. Times 5 it was over $250 with fees. You spend a lot of Your time just waiting in line to get a ticket for the next heat. It's not like you can repeatedly just ride the track around which was what my kids wanted to do. You have to go get a ticket in the front and then go back and wait in line again. So basically you are waiting 30-40 minutes between each race. So that's definitely gonna cut into your racing time. Maybe you can purchase a different way but they told me I had to book online due to Covid 19. The $50 package was the only thing I could find online. What you get it only worth 1 star to me but I gave it 3 stars due to the employees. There were a bunch of teenage boys running everything. But they were the nicest teenage boys I have ever run into at a job. So kudos to Full Throttle (and their parents) for teaching employees to smile and be nice to customers. A lot of places you don't get that from young ones. read more

I absolutely loved this place!!! Me and my boyfriend went and paid for the axe throwing, go kart racing and the VR experience. The axe throwing was so much fun, it's definitely a lot harder than it looks but worth it. The go karts were exhilarating they go extremely fast and you can choose between 1-3 races. They do last 8 minutes long but they're so much fun! The VR was also amazing we played a shooting game and was just as amazing. The overall experience was great and everyone was so friendly. We went at 11:00am when they first opened and so it wasn't as crowded and we didn't leave until around 1 or 2. When we were leaving it became more crowded so I would suggest going earlier if you don't want to wait. When you first come you have to stop at the computers and sign up so you might want to do that first and then get in the line just so it goes faster. The computer process was quick and very user friendly. We will definitely be going back!! read more

Sadly don't waste your money! Brought my grand daughter here for a special day. Scene 75 wouldn't let her drive because she was a inch too short. Checked in at 4:00 it's now 6:00 and we are not any closer to the 30 to 45 minute wait we paid for. None of the games or race games work. Had to get refunds. And no one explained they would stop in the middle of the wait time and refuel. Guy who took out money said! "Sorry I'm sorta running a one man show here" how is that even an explanation. Waiting for two hours and he says you can go get something to eat and come back. Wtf read more

I liked this a lot. After being in the kart for a little bit I got used to the speediness of it but it turned out it was really fun! My boyfriend and his dad also went karting too, his dad is 55 and he 24, and they both had a blast. I recommend it for anyone whose looking for some speediness. read more

I got lapped and they counted me as 2nd place... of 11. Furthermore after preliminary rankings they placed us in the opposite order. I.E. fastest guy was placed in the first starting point instead of the last. Probably was the kid running the show who doesn't understand the basics of racing, followed by an inability to keep track of racers. This place is bogus. OR... you could unintentionally cheat and take 2nd place by letting everyone lap you. read more

Most horrible experience I might have ever had due to check in process and staff. We reserved a 8 pm time slot and Full Throttle recommends arriving 1/2 hour early for check in process. We arrived early and waited in the line for 1 hour. The line was not managed by staff at all and the common courtesy and line etiquette was bluntly disregarded by staff at this location. We paid over $200 dollars for 4 people for 2 hours of activities and it was 9:00 pm before we was even able to race. Then after all that waiting we get to our scheduled first race Full Throttle gives you a ticket with the race number and track name. We get to the track and give guy our ticket which was for race number 84 and the staff says your going to have to wait we are going to run race number 85 before 84. I think Full Throttle needs to train the staff in customer service and how to manage the check in line so you do not have people trying to walk directly up to the check in counter when there is a line. There should be separate lines for concessions, checking in and whatever else needs a separate line. So basically we paid $200 dollars for 3 races due to bad customer service and line management. They do not care if you get your 2 hours or not. Also any package you purchase is "NON-REFUNDABLE" and now we know why but we was able to get a full refund for 2 people. If Full Throttle would make designated lines I think that would solve some of the issues. read more

We attended full throttle on a non busy Friday night however because the employees at the checkout counter felt it more important to socialize with the other guests and their co-workers we waited 20 minutes in a line that had only ONE couple in front of us. I've never seen this kind of disregard for customer service in a long time. After 20 minutes we kindly asked one if the 3 employees behind the counter if maybe they could help us and they informed us that they were "busy"(busy gossiping). After the horror of paying the over priced fee to race we got to watch a "safety" video that described how these geniuses invented their own flag. This flag removes ANY competition from this track. When they wave this flag your are supposed to let the person behind you pass?!?!? Seriously?!? This is what racing is all about! and with the addition of this yellow and red flag they single handedly killed the experience. My recommendation is to stay away from this place and go to the track in Lawrenceburg. Not only are they cheaper, but they actually let you RACE!!! read more

While I enjoyed my race, my experience with Full Throttle Indoor Karting was horrible. I had never been, but I was going with two friends that had gone before. We made reservations for two races each, however, after getting there, waiting in line for 10+ minutes, handing over my Amex for $75 (for five races), I was told that I could only race in one of the races because they could not find my reservation. This was also after they tried to charge one of my friends for races that he had already paid for- and were snotty about it. After deciding that I didn't want to pre-pay for 5 races based on my experience, I tried to get my card refunded and only pay for 1 race, the only 1 that I was able to use, but the girl that waited on me refused. --So, I've got a call into Amex. Fast forward to the safety instructions- I couldn't really hear the safety video because the two 16 year old workers administering the safety video were talking about about how Obama was going to take their guns away. In general, I would say that the place is run kids with no adult supervision, and they all have a zero work ethic. Everyone that I came in contact with had a bad attitude. Lackadaisical and feckless. In short, it is a horribly run business, I don't intend to go back. read more

More like should be death city. Almost die there a few days back. place isnt the safest, they always strap you up with some of the shittiest tires and axles on the "non" membership karts. My tires on my first kart (since i broke it and had to get a second one) were so worn that you could see the white wall inside the tire. after i almost nearly died, they strapped me in a even shittier kart where the damn axle nearly busted when i ripped through each turn. Probably wont go back ever again. Oh yeah and wheres my head sock, they charged me two dollars and didnt even give me or my friends one. These guys area fraud. be for warned the membership pass is tempting but i dont recommend it. read more

Stopped by this place on a Friday night and had a great experience overall. An 8 minute race will cost $22 dollars for non-members, which makes it a little too pricey to be a regular activity, but it was definitely fun. Arriving around 9 PM on a Friday, we were told that it would be about an hour wait before we could get on a track. There isn't too much for decor, but there's a big screen tv, an air hockey machine (50 cents), slot cars ($3), fooseball, 2 pool tables, and some arcade games that served well to pass the time. As far as the go karting is concerned, I really enjoyed it. It took a couple laps to get a feel for how much I could push it. After the race, I was kicking myself for being too cautious, which makes me want to give it another shot. Oh, and if you're concerned about safety, I was never in a spot where I thought I was in danger. There are large windows to view ongoing races if you feel like scoping it out before registering for a race too. read more

I feel the need...the need for (youth racing) speed! Full Throttle is a great afternoon activity to break up your weekend. When babysitting my adorable cousins, they decided they were bored and wanted to do something fun. Hello, go karting! Youth races are $15 per person.(You have to be at least 8 yrs old to race.) Adult races are $20. You sign up for a heat, watch a quick safety video and then wait for your turn. You have to wear a neck brace and a helmet which... I have to admit... made me feel cool even though I'm sure I looked like a dufus. Races last approximately 8 minutes. Once you've finished, the scoreboard keeps track of how your group did! Though the race ended quickly, the cousins and I kept jabbering on about how much fun it was for several hours after. read more

I took my husband here for a date early one Saturday night and we both loved it! The karts were clean, well-maintained, and super fast!!! Way faster than I expected!! I was skipping around most of the turns, haha. At the same time, I felt totally safe there- their safety gear was in great condition and there were staff members all over the track to make sure no one was driving too recklessly (something I was kinda worried about before going). Also, there was a very helpful instructional video that tells you everything you need to know about how to start the race, how to drive the car, all the rules of the place, etc. Very helpful! Overall, this place seems to really make an effort to answer any and all of their customers' concerns so that you can just have fun racing! I highly recommend trying this place- it makes for a very fun and unique date :) read more

Had a birthday party for our 10 year old daughter and her friends here. It was a blast, the girls loved it. The staff was friendly, helpful and kept everything moving and on schedule. So, i wanted to have a fun day with my seven year old son, do things we couldn't do when his 3 year old sister is with us. So i checked the age requirements for him to drive a go cart. We were the first ones there on friday (school was cancelled). They walked us through the safety items and geared him up. He didn't even get 1/2 way around the track before crashing into the side on the junior track. He was shaken enough that he refused to continue. They refunded all of my money (3 races) without question and even offered for him to try the micro mile for free. Even though this adventure didn't work out, the staff was wonderful. I plan on trying again...but next time ill have him do a ride along first! read more

Go Karts? that's for babies... but in reality, this is great for big kids. 40 mph is fast when you're strapped in to a beach chair with an engine. This place was AWESOME! I took my nephews there. One's 8-ish (wink-wink) and one's 9 years old. No problems getting them on the track. I wanted to race with them, which meant we were riding the slower cars (used for the younger fellas). Nevertheless, it was SOOO much fun! Even the slow ones felt pretty fast. I can't imagine how much fun those full-speed carts are. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that it's a bit expensive. I think it was about $100 for three people to do two 8-minute races. A bit steep. Maybe if they'd let us all roll on the big-boy carts I'd be giving 5 stars, but I understand insurance liability; so no worries. Also, I was impressed by how attentive the track staff was. It's got to be boring as all get-out to watch the same race over and over. But those guys were all on point and took care of track issues quickly and efficiently. Good stuff. read more

The karting and axe throwing was a blast, but there was a manager who's name started with an "L" but I can't remember his full name, was treating these young kids very poorly. It seemed like the manager already had an attitude prior to talking to the different employee and was almost taking it out on them. This place is so poorly run it's unbelievable. Like everyone else is saying, YOU WAIT IN LINE FOR AN HOUR WHEN YOU ARRIVE, even though your time slot is booked and paid for ahead of time. We got 2 adrenaline passes that let you do several activities for a 2 hour period of time. We arrived around 4:40 for our 5:00 slot. The building closed at 7:00. We had the Rage Room as part of our package and had bought lots of breakables. The girl at the front desk said we should do Rage Room FIRST and then said we had to come back to her, wait in line again, and get more tickets to then race. We went to the Rage Room and the entire area was packed. We stood around in line again for a while before waving down an employee. The young man working in that area said to come back in 30 mins and took our names. So we went back up to the front, stood in line SOME MORE, got racing tickets, then stood in line for helmets, then stood in line to race. They do not check that helmets are on correctly or securely. I could not figure out how to loosen my seatbelt so I could buckle it and they were motioning for me to begin the race before it was buckled. These carts are FAST which is a lot of fun, but also has a lot of potential to legitimately maim or even kill the driver. An incorrectly worn neck brace and helmet + a small collision could = broken neck or spine, EASILY. The employees overseeing the races can't be older than 18 years old. They are talking amongst themselves, laughing, flirting... I did not feel safe whatsoever. A half hour had passed at this point and we went back to the Rage Room. There were even more people in line, and the employee who took our names was no longer there while the employee who was there ignored us completely. Finally we got tired of standing there. At this point we had done 1 short race and we only had 30 minutes left before close. We went and stood in line again for more tickets, then stood in line to race again, then raced one more time. At this point it was 7 and the night was over. No rage room, no axe throwing, no virtual reality. Nothing. As we were walking out there were groups of angry people all lined up at the counter wanting refunds for the horrible experience as the teenage employees and finally, teenage manager tried their best to pacify everyone, but had no power whatsoever to issue refunds. All they could do was hand out business cards with the owners name on them. They SHOULD NOT have a 2 hour time slot start at 5 when they close at 7 and they know how long the lines are for everything. You should not have to go back to the front desk and stand in line for additional tickets every time you want to race again. It's a shame this place is being run so poorly. It really is. Will not be going back. read more
