My family loves this place. We have a place in Astoria and the first and last nights in town we always get Fultano's. It's your local, family owned pizza joint with good delivery times, beers on tap and selection of toppings. I do with they had jojos instead of fries but that's just me. The cheese bread is legit and cheap. I never feel cheated on toppings. I wish I could have a tin tacker or something to hang in my man cave at home to remind me of this place and our three generations of enjoyment it has provided. read more

So being the pizza junkie I am when I visit Astoria I don't pass up an opportunity to visit my favorite pizza place, Fultano's. "I'm happier 'n tornado in a trailer park" here. After a long day at the beach, enjoying the many surrounding sights like the Astoria column, Fort Stevens, Fort Clatsop, the Maritime Museum, or just lounging near the ocean shore with a large beach fire while getting sand in my shorts I get hungry and thirsty. A great way to fill my gut and thirst is with some hot and ready Fultano's Pizza and cold one. For Starters the bread sticks are amazing. Covered with a garlic butter topping, and served with both the Fultano's pizza sauce and ranch dressing, they are mmmm good. Pepsi is the soda on tap, and a variety of bottled beers are available. My typical choice is the Mona Lisa with Canadian bacon, pepperoni, and beef , on Fultano's signature thin crust that is amazing. Prices are very good as well. 6 bread sticks for $4.50, All you can eat salad bar for $5.75, and the Mona Lisa, they offer sizes starting at a 8" personal size at $6.25 , 11", 13", 15" to a 18" for $25.15. These prices won't break the bank. This location is sort of hidden of the beaten path, and is worth the search. The place is two big rooms with a divider, the back area is great for large private parties, and there is a game room to keep the yeplets busy. The place is always full of families so if that is not your thing, to go is the way to go because you don't want to miss out on this Godly pizza. A friend and I ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms and a few other toppings, then sat down to talk over the day's activity. Our pizza was ready in 20-22 minutes and we devoured it with gusto. No, "gusto" is not a condiment. The pizza disappeared and we were properly fueled for the rest of our day's projects and the drive back to the Portland area. The product tastes good; however it is nearly impossible to order a half and half pizza and get it right. The manager made good in the first two order mistakes and made sure our third pizza was correct. I ordered a fourth and it was wrong again. I noticed it at the counter, but instead of standing up for myself at the time, walked away unhappy. I love pizza but I'm not a super huge fan of when they put cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. I don't know Fultano's pizza doesn't move me. But, I know a lot of people who like it so it's totally a personal preference. It's not gross at all. And the toppings are fresh. I just prefer somewhere else for my pizza. What I do really like here is the spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Their sauce is delicious. It does get a little watery at the end, I figure that's just pasta water? I just stir and and it doesn't bug me. I like that their sauce has chunks of tomato in it. It's really good. They also have a really num salad bar. But the best part of the whole deal is their breadsticks that are just as good if not (dare I say) better than Olive Garden. They give you enough to either share, make two meals out of it or stuff yourself until you hate yourself. It's definitely a solid option for dinner. read more

We are a regular at the Fultano's in Astoria and have been going here for the past three years. I love the pepperoni with fresh tomatoes pizza. The crust is crisp and the pizza sauce and cheese are a winning combination. My husband loves their pizza sub and Mediterranean sub. They both have lots of fresh vegetable to enhance the sandwich. This review is dating back to the summer of 2019. This is before covid may I add. My family and I traveled from Cleveland Ohio all the way up to Astoria Oregon. In doing so we had a long day of sightseeing, and it was very late. No other place in town was open. We were starving, and then we see it. Fultano's Pizza's, this sign was our light in the dark. We thought to ourselves, it's just pizza what could go wrong? We were so hungry and got 2 pizza's that made out to be around $60; we now were thinking, this is gonna be some good ass pizza. We did not receive the amazing pizza we were hoping for, we did receive the biggest let down in Astoria. This pizza was foul, offensive, and just repulsive. The food tasted like cardboard, the pepperoni was dehydrated, the cheese felt like a brick, and the bread was burnt to a crisp. Honestly would have had a better meal with the pizza box rather than the actual overly priced so called "food". They should have just served us Digiorno rather than trying to make it themselves. We left that place feeling so empty from our pockets and our stomachs from how bland this pizza was. The whole car ride to the camp site was just us bantering on how disgusting the pizza was there. It turned into complete hysteria in the car. We still are not sure whether going there was a mistake or not because till this day we still joke about it and whenever we talk about awful food, we always quote this place. Everyone in my family then get flash backs and their faces turn sour to say, "Yeah that place was nasty" To anyone who actually likes this place, please for the love of god. The crust is crunchy and chewy, the toppings were generous and the sauce was tangy. I thought it was a really good pizza, good flavor, good ordering experience. This place was within 3 min of our hotel- yay! I found this place on my Yelp App, otherwise I don't think we would have found it- 2x yay because it wasn't busy or touristy. We arrived at the end of the NBA Allstar game, which was great! We got to sit, watch the game, eat salad and get our pizza- 100x YAY!! The atmosphere is great for a laid-back pizza/tv joint. I am new to Astoria and have had pizza from Fultano's on two occasions and I had an order of their hot subs last night. Boy, has service declined! They started out well. The thin crust pizza I had for delivery in June was pretty good...it arrived timely, the driver and the person taking my order were friendly, and the pizza was decent. Not gourmet, but it fit the bill when I needed to throw food at my family while we were unpacking. It was basically one bar above take and bake, but the flavor matched the price point and convenience option. I ordered identical pizza for the family again in July. The food quality was the same and the driver was friendly and timely, but this time I was a little less than impressed with the person answering the phone. The person was extremely curt on the phone and hung up on my call twice. I figured they were either in training or extremely frazzled, so I chalked it up to an inexperienced teen and let them have their bad day. So, a month later the hubby and I stopped by to grab some takeout on the way home. I had never been inside before and we wanted to try their subs...ooh, adventurous! The inside was clean and you have a view of the kitchen. They were half full with diners and pizza was leaving for delivery at a good pace, but several staff members were just standing around talking. What I did not like, was that the person answering the phone was down and out rude to the customers calling in. They did not "say" anything bad, it was all in their attitude. They were short and snarky and made comments to the loitering staff about the customer after they hung up and mocked one caller. Two of the loiterers started making fun of, and pointing to, a couple of diners. This was in front of my husband, myself, and another couple waiting for their takeout order. All of the workers involved were young and we looked for a manager to comment to, but couldn't find anyone. We grabbed our order and left. If the service wasn't bad enough to prompt my review, the food was. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries (picture loaded). The steak, what little there was, was some processed, gray, salty, sponge that I'm hoping was beef. The little pieces that can be seen clinging for life to the bread in my pic, was ALL of the meat in that half of the sandwich. Nope, there is no more hiding under the raw peppers and I didn't gobble it all up in that small bite I took before taking the pic (I swear!). The bread was hard, more stale than toasted. It actually tasted like it was microwaved and since there was no browning, I wouldn't be surprise if it was. The veggies were barely cooked...only some of the onions were even translucent, most were raw. No sauce or seasoning other than a ton of salt. My husband did not even swoop in to steal it. His Reuban was just as sad, but that is up to him to review. The fries were fine. A good portion size, thankfully, since I did not eat more than another bite of my sandwich. Just your standard prepackaged fries cooked in moderately fresh oil. There was also a plastic wrapped dill pickle under my sandwich. Yay! Just like a Cracker Jack prize! Just not enough for me to want to go back to the Astoria Fultano's location again. The pizza is fine, in a pinch, but I will not support a local business with such low standards. read more

I was very disappointed by Fultanos - don't get me wrong the pizza was made with delicious ingredients, but our order was completely botched. I didn't care for their pizza sauce either, a little chunky for my taste. They switched the sauces on my gourmet veggie (garlic ranch) with my boyfriend's regular sauce pizza. Artichoke hearts, spinach, and feta - yum. But NOT with regular pizza sauce. The cheesy breadsticks were awful. The cheese wasn't completely melted and just fell off the breadsticks. I'm not sure what to say but it was very disappointing as it didn't look like a typical BLT! Well I have been putting off this post for awhile but it's time. I work in a local business in Astoria; Consequently we order in to the office fairly often. One of our go to places has been Fultano's Pizza. There have been numerous mistakes made lately, burned crust, no condiments nor paper plates even though we've requested them. Today our owner ordered a special pizza for their anniversary, it was ordered online and paid in advance by credit card. apparently there was a typo of the wrong suite number so it was delivered to the wrong suite. Clearly this was our mistake, but when the pizza was dropped off, it was left on the counter of the other office, the delivery person spoke to nobody, just dropped it and left. so when the receiving office , noticed the pizza on their counter, they called us & told us to come get it. by the time all of this transpired, the pizza was stone cold. I called the manager at Fultano's and not only was he unsympathetic, he argued with me, and clearly had no intention of helping us out, not a sorry, just excuse after excuse. so, I guess it's Sahara Pizza in Astoria from now on...
