    Flying noodles
    Lynn T.

Flying noodles -- ground pork with a slightly sweet sauce. Simple and comforting. Pan-fried fish filet with green onion was really good, whether you have it with steamed rice or on its own. Wonton soup (pork, shrimp, tobiko) had that homemade vibe. Not the best I've had, but still satisfying. Service was great -- friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Only note: the bathroom is located outside of the restaurant.

Fun station is located in the Market City Shopping Center. They are located on the top area. There's parking on the top and the bottom. Parking is limited. They have a lot of choices for food and also have tasty drinks. We had the milk, tea, and the mango drink that had jellies and tapioca. We had the duck that was tasty. It's not your regular crispy duck. Brine duck on top of the bed of tofu. (Good tasting for sure) We also had chicken wings that had a different taste to it - kind of tasted like fruit loops. We had their minute chicken on crispy noodles.... So tasty with bok choy. The honey walnut shrimp is one of the best and lots of walnuts. The salt and pepper pork chops were a winner. We will come back for sure. We have a lot on the menu to still choose from!! Service was quick and not rushed Casual location - like an old school Chinese restaurant

First time we've been here after UH Baseball game on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM no ones here and easy parking usually is very crowded but I saw a lots of takeout going out there are so many dishes we wanna try for next time they're open 11:00 - 9:30 PM every day which is great because you don't have to think about when they're open The staff is very friendly and cordial Well definitely be back for Jook

A good spot, but I only 1/3 of the dishes was great, the other 2 were okay, But I would come to order different stuff and give them another chance! + Food: Got the Flying Noodle, Beef tendon & Wonton Noodle soup, and Salt Pepper chicken wings. I absolutely love the Flying Noodles! Very flavorful and the pickled cabbage cuts through the fat nicely. The noodle soup was very light, not bad but tastes more like a wonton soup not a beef noodle soup. The chicken wings were alright: small, could use more seasoning inside. + Ambience: Medium sized restaurant, clean, plenty of parking outside. Nice service!

We came in around 5 on a Thursday and were seated right away, but by the time we left there was a wait. The main reason we came here was for the fried sesame balls, and they did not disappoint. There's of the food was good but nothing special: - flying noodle -- fun presentation but the noodles were just ok. I found it hard to mix them to cover them in sauce, and the sauce was a little too close to an Italian meat sauce - coconut shrimp -- what you'd expect - beef with broccoli -- really good - wonton soup -- okay...the wontons were like no wontons I've had I a soup before (in a bad way) - honey walnut shrimp -- a little dry yet too mayo-y at the same time - milk tea -- too strong You can get a Diet Coke in a can, and the water glasses are nice and big. Service wise, they forgot our flying noodles, and we had to ask for water refills.

Beef brisket with wonton noodle soup: noodles and broth were good. Beef was ok, wontons were good. Don't bother taking left overs home. The noodles disintegrate in the broth overnight. Beef brisket & tendon noodle soup: tender was good. Crispy spareribs with rice: crispy but sauce is too sweet. Garlic choy sum: 5/5 good healthy fresh veggies.

Fun Station (Market City) is one of those lowkey Honolulu gems that doesn't try to be trendy -- it just focuses on serving satisfying Chinese comfort food that keeps people coming back. It's tucked inside Market City (super convenient if you're in the UH/Kapiolani area), and it's an easy stop for lunch or dinner when you want something filling without overthinking it. The food If you've never tried their Flying Noodles, that should be your first order. It's one of their most talked-about dishes for a reason -- bold flavor, great noodle texture, and the kind of plate that makes you keep picking at it even when you're already full. I also love that they do the classics well. The Beef Chow Fun is a solid comfort pick, and if you're the type that needs a soup to complete the meal, their Hot & Sour Soup is a great warm, punchy option. For sides, Fun Station has a lot of fun add-ons people rave about too -- like Crispy Spare Ribs, the Tobiko Wonton, and if you want something sweet after, their Sesame Balls are the perfect little finish. Service + vibe Service is friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe is casual and straightforward -- perfect for a quick bite or a simple family-style meal. It feels like the kind of neighborhood spot that earns regulars because it's consistent. Final thoughts If you want dependable Chinese comfort food in Honolulu, especially with noodles that stand out, Fun Station is worth it. Great location, satisfying portions, and plenty menu options for both picky eaters and foodies who want to explore

I ordered takeaway a couple of years ago from Fun Station. I can't recall what I had but it was a...fun...dish. Fun Station sounds like an arcade, but it's a Chinese noodle restaurant. Today, I requested their Mongolian Beef entrèe for takeout. It is spicy but the worker who took my order said they could make it mild ( and fun to eat ) for me. Served with bell peppers and onions, it was mild. Beef is typical of Chinese stir fry dishes. Wait time was about 10 minutes. In Market City Shopping Center - they are next to Gina's and Donut King. Lots of stalls but lots of vehicles.

Went for the first time and the beef chow fun was sooooo good!!!! Everything was plated nicely ans overall gave very warm home vibes. Service was also really good, the workers were nice and they even gave us red bean jin dui for dessert which was super good . The only thing that had me a bit iffy was that the table wasn't super clean and the ground was very sticky . Other than this, everything was good. Would def reccomend for a casual noodle place :)

    Beef Brisket Tendon Rice
    Ariel M.

Cute spot with friendly staff. I had such a difficult time choosing a dish on the menu..... because I literally wanted to try so many different things! We decided upon the hot sour soup (my normal go-to Chinese soup), the beef brisket tendon rice, and the fried gyoza. Their hot sour soup is now in my top five for Oahu. The brisket and tendon were cooked nicely. The brisket soft and the tendon the perfect texture of soft and gelatinous. Recommend using the chili oil on the table with the brisket and tendon. Definitely coming back to try other dishes! Tips: This restaurant is located in Market City. Parking may be difficult during prime dinner hours. The parking stalls are very narrow in the top main lot. Bigger stalls are in the lower lot. If you don't mind eating a bit later, the main lot starts to clear out around 730p.

They have a more accurate menu online. Flying noodles - cool presentation, pretty good taste Chicken wings - a little overcooked, so dry. Good flavor but expensive for what you get Sesame balls - pretty good, better than average

Came to Fun Station in Honolulu for some classic Chinese comfort food, and wow, they delivered on every dish. The honey walnut shrimp was crispy, sweet, and perfectly coated with those crunchy walnuts - a total crowd-pleaser that matched the rave reviews I've seen. The salt & pepper pork chop was spot-on: juicy, crispy exterior with just the right kick of seasoning, confirming it's a menu highlight available for order. For something unique, the jook with bittermelon omelette brought savory warmth - creamy jook paired beautifully with the slightly bitter, fluffy omelette for a balanced bite that's not your everyday find but hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly in the clean, welcoming spot, with plenty of parking nearby. Highly recommend for Kapiolani Blvd Chinese cravings - we'll be back!

Great place! Everything came out so fresh and the service here is so nice. The hot tea was very tasty and the overall place is clean, bright, and welcoming. The little helper was the cutest greeter! We will be back again. (P.S. you can get the lotus root dish with a different meat option, we got the basa fish which was super yummy and tender!)

One thing to note, they don't serve their lunch menu after 4:00 so we went there expecting burgers and they don't serve them. So we kind of stayed reluctantly. I ended up ordering the guava ribs and my wife got them too. Those had to be the best ribs I think I have ever had! They literally fall off the bone as you're trying to pick up the meat. One of the reasons we wanted to go here was we wanted the options of seafood but one of our adults doesn't like seafood and they said that they had all kinds of stuff, which they do. Our server Maka, was incredible. He brings us out a free appetizer and said that was from the chef. I don't know if it was the chef or him but I was impressed and it was good. We were dying to go back this trip and sad to say, we left disappointed. The menu items were minimal and surprising to us, none looked appealing. We did get a couple of appetizers, which were good... and a few samplers from the chef which were the best thing we had. But overall, is was a waste of money - and a lot of it!- I will share a positive though, the crème brûlée served in the bottom of a pineapple was delicious! It had a tangy, sweetness of pineapple that was delicious, as well as beautiful! Overall, not the same Tiki's.
