Driving from vegas to Universal studios with my 5yr old and my car broke down at night in Barstow. Had an awful EXPENSIVE (and apparently) unnecessary repair which was supposed to fix my issue. I first picked this place to take my 1993 jeep wrangler when my clutch went out because it was close to me. They fix the problem and got it back to me within a couple of days even after having to special make the hose that was needed. I'm really happy with the overall service and communication. I asked for updates and I got them without having to call first. I was super pleased and I will go back to them again. I also felt like the pricing was pretty fair. This is the most honest shop I've ever been to. My car is a 2007 and I've been having a few issues this year. I got my oil changed in May or something with a return date of August or a certain number of miles. My air conditioner died in July so I came back and had to pay a pretty penny to fix it but I said "let's just do the oil too since I'm here" and they said it was way too early and I was under mileage for it. I had to go back the other day because something else was wrong with the Ac and also tried to get my oil changed and expected a hefty fee. The oil was still too early so they didn't want me to get charged and they did the ac fix for free. They do what you need without overcharging you and try to help you save where you can. When Jiffy Lube waited over an hour to tell me that they were refusing me service because my oil cap was too tight (even though they had done my oil change many times before and never mentioned this), they sent me to Funk Brothers because they knew they could fix it if the cap broke. Apparently they do this a lot. Not to mention I was driving to move to Portland, OR from LA in 2 days. I get to Funk Bros early in the morning the next day and the worker is professional and knowledgeable. He told me if the cap breaks it would take all day to fix it but they could definitely get it done. Later he calls me and tells me the cap didn't break and they were able to do my oil change!
