They don't list what toppings and condiments they put on their food, so if you don't like something: good f*cking luck. I ordered a cheeseburger, knowing that I'm picky and checked to see if there was anything on it but meat and cheese. It didn't say anything additional, so I assumed it came plain. When it got here, it would not be an exaggeration to say that they drowned it in what is either cucumber sauce or mayo--I really couldn't tell, but it doesn't really matter because either will make me throw up. Nothing is more irritating then ordering from someone that's irritated! & now, 2xs, i have ordered poppers & they were served without accompanying sauce. So, there's the Happy Greek and the Mad Greek, and now the Funny Greek. It's Greek fast food. What a novel idea! They're actually in conjunction with Acropolis Gyro Palace. For fast food, it's pretty good. The ingredients are fresh and pretty quality, from the pita bread to the meat and the veggies. I like the fact that you can get the food to go from the counter or the drive-thru, or eat in the place itself, which by the looks of the building, might have been an old White Castle. Prices aren't too bad, either. Everything is under $10. I had a mini gyro which was a grand total of $2.49. For someone like me who can't pack in a whole lot it's a great idea. Baklava is of course a popular dessert and they sell many kinds, including cinnamon baklava. I quite enjoyed the cinnamon baklava. Rather than the typical triangle shape, it was wrapped in the filo dough like a burrito. The filling of nuts and spices was generous in proportion to the pastry. The cinnamon was flavorful but not overpowering so you could taste all the flavors. The honey sauce was very sticky...and good. read more

We ordered take out from Funny Greek. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken and two gyros for my children. The salad was nice and fresh and it had tasty marinated chicken. I tried the gyro, it's everything you would want in a gyro. My absolute favorite part of the meal was my kids fries. I grew up in Ontario Canada and we have different fries up there. I get homesick for them. Funny Greeks fries are just like Canadian fries. Thick, like about three times the thickness of regular fries. Seasoned and fried to perfection. The kind of fries you want to pour malt vinegar on or make into a poutine! I know I will be back for the fries. I'm already thinking about them two days later! WOW just wow. My boyfriends family and I were hesitant because of the location and the fact that the parking lot was empty when we got here for dinner on a Sunday, but the food is out of this world!!! Prices are amazing, food is phenomenal and they are clean, fast, and courteous. Free refills on fountain soda is nice too. If you get french fries, get them made "greek" - they load them to with tziaziki sauce and feta and they're delicious. We will be back... very very soon! read more

First time for using a drive through for gyros. I love to order in and enjoy the aroma or the restaurant but in this case, I was tired but craved a good gyro. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets with fries. I ordered the gyro with fries and baklava. Bad first, then the good. NOTHING BAD! I thought for sure the nuggets was a bad mistake. Boy was I wrong. I picked up the food in Reynoldsburg and drove home to Pataskala in rush hour traffic and to my amazement the chick nuggets were the best ever and I mean ever. The fries, 2nd to none. The gyro, very delicious. Funny Greek you have a customer that will return again and again. Now, the baklava was tiny......yes it was so good but sooooo tiny. lol I am sure if I ask for a larger piece these guys will fill the order. This place is great! I go through the drive thru and get the Gyro salad. It's $7.99 but they give you enough gyro meat for two sandwiches...and I eat it all every time. Comes with pita and good veggies including a few olives. The value is better than the Chipotle-like greek places that are around town and there is never a wait. read more

After such good reviews, and the fact my hotel is literally 2 minutes away, coming to check out this place was a no-brainer. I ordered the #10 gyro fries drink with dessert and number 3 (or 2) mini chicken gyro extra greek sauce.The fries were amazing hot fresh well seasoned. The Gyros were okay, but only because it was put together so poorly. the sauce onions and tomatoes were only on one side. It was also dry, they didn't put my sauce in the bag. They also didn't give me my baklava and almost didn't give me the drinks. when I asked for my drinks. he gave me a rude look. said something inaudible and made my drinks. I'm not sure I will go back there. I feel like they missed too much of my order. they seemed stressed, although their wasn't many people around. I was going to go back and complain to get my dessert (I really just wanted to try it) but I didn't. I assumed I wouldn't be met with apologetic and a lets make this right attitude but more of a cold shoulder while they complete my order without saying a word. All in all I will probably not go back. Great Greek experience here. Chicken gyro salad I had was fantastic, and the "small" gyro at $2.50 is actually pretty huge (so much that I saved it for lunch the next day). very fast service, but still makes you feel better about eating it than a McD's or other fast food. We noticed on the way out that they do have a drivethrough, so keep that in mind. This is my favorite choice for greek on the east side, and unlike King's, they ARE open on sunday! read more

OK, so here is a food review for a place I tried with a groupon tonight. I bought a $7 groupon to get $14 worth of dinner for two at "The Funny Greek". They have 2 locations - of which we went to Reynoldsburg, OH. I can wrap it up in one word - EW!!! Food was between mediocre and gross, the restaurant was filthy with sticky tables AND floor. The kitchen was filthy as well and the whole place was so run down that it seemed it hadn't been cleaned or renovated and many, many years. They have pictures of all the dishes on their menu that do not even come close to what you actually get! So my suggestion is to avoid it at all cost! There is actually a fantastic Greek restaurant that is still the best in town. Take it from a Greek - go to King Gyros, 400 S. Hamilton Rd., Columbus, OH. Fantastic! Have had their food a few times- actually tastes good, HOWEVER when I presented them with a valid (for their location), non-expired coupon, I was flat out declined. The person taking my order said the owner is no longer accepting those coupons because "he is having problems with the coupon company". This was the 2016 Save Around Columbus and surrounding areas coupon book. To begin with, there is nothing Greek about this place at all. Starting by their menu: Hummus, beef kobab, falafel are all Middle Eastern items. Philly steak, cheese burger, chicken wings, fried okra, onion rings... I ll let you guess!! The food here is good and at an inexpensive price. However, it is an unclean establishment. The employees and especially management were very negative and unhelpful. Great gyros, fresh ingredients, I order mine without the onion as they seemed strong the last few times I got them. Best French fries I've ever had. Possibly because they use seasoned salt and are cooked to order. Lady in the drive thru offered a juice box to my daughter while we were waiting, for no reason.
