My friend recommended this place to me. I finally got to try it. They have different kinds of chicken or wings to choose from and many flavor options. Most of them are in Korean which is kind of hard for me to understand the flavor options. They claim it's authentic Korean style but I think I can find somewhere better than this. My new addiction: FURAI Chicken! Tried the Original Furai w/ the soy garlic dipping sauce & the lemon garlic dipping sauce. Fried chicken: PERFECTION! Skin was crispy & crunchy, meat was tender & juicy. The pieces are good sized pieces, not skimpy at all. Sauces: Soy garlic was definitely tasty, not bland, not watery, yummy lil' bits & pieces of garlic in the sauce, so good! Lemon garlic was nice too, if you like garlic but dont like strong taste of garlic, go for this sauce. Very mild garlic taste, slight sweetness & hints of lemony goodness! I was looking to try something different in the area and Furai's chicken looked really good, so I placed an order on their website. This place is located inside the market, it took me a minute to figure that out, but once I got inside it was easy to find. I ordered the half original Furai chicken with a side of ranch dressing and added the macaroni salad as a side. I also added the garlic jam sauce on the side. This sauce was really good and I recommend it. Was really wanting to give this place more stars, but I'm going to be honest I was pretty disappointed. I felt like the price for everything I got ($20) was too pricey for 5 pieces of chicken and a side. I don't mind paying more for good quality, but I feel like that was lacked here. Although the chicken was fresh and hot, it had no flavor or seasoning. It did go well with the sauces, but just felt like maybe some salt was missing. My main concern was honestly with the macaroni salad. I opened it and got an odd smell. I thought maybe that's just how it smells and took a bite, but something was off. I really hope I don't get food poisoning from the one bite I ate because I was given rotten macaroni salad. I threw the whole tub away and I'm disappointed I spent the extra $3.50 on a side that might make me sick and was just wasted. I'd really like to give this place another chance, but don't think I'll be back. read more

Ordered half Original Fried & Sweet and Spicy I had a very difficult time whether I should write a review or my heart was very confused with the mixed feeling about this place. Their chicken is amazing, and actually, it's very very good but the portion was uber disappointing, and it was honestly the saddest whole chicken I ever had in my life. I really want to give them five stars, but I just cannot give five because of the portion.. the problem with this place is that they are pretty much on par with the BBQ Chicken.. and the BBQ Chicken is very generous on the portion.. so it's hard to find a reason to revisit this place over BBQ chicken. If you do not care much for the portion and are willing to pay 30+ bucks for it then this is a great place, but I would much rather opt in to get my chicken from the BBQ chicken.. The girl in the front was not very welcoming or customer service oriented so that is also a minus If I had an option to give 3.5-star rating then that is the best fit for this place read more

Whenever I crave fried chicken, this is my go to place, I always recommend it to my family and friends too. I love the soy garlic and original crispy chicken. The outside is perfectly crispy and the flavor is good too. The price is also good for what it is. It's located inside hannamchain, kind of hidden but I also love that its hassle free, meaning you just order in the front, get your food, and eat it at the table or take out. Theres plenty of seating too and workers are friendly. Anyways def recommend for anyone craving Korean fried chicken! read more

I bought the 20 pieces fried chicken yesterday. The lady was very nice. I asked what's the difference between the types of friend chickens they're selling and she they're the crisp. One is crispier. So, that's what I ordered. The picture on the wall was misleading. After waiting for 1 hour, I received 20 pieces of wing chickens for $30+ tip and tax. I thought that was very expensive for 20 wings. The picture on the wall didn't show wings. Maybe next time, I should ask more questions. Bottom line. I wasn't happy. read more

I'm glad they open in Diamond Bar, so I don't have to drive too far. Ordered for take out and as soon as I got home, tried the chicken and still taste great and not dry at all. Their chicken is very light, crispy, and moist. Not overly salty, yet so flavorful and tender. The service is nice as well. Definitely their umami rice bowl and garlic jam are a must. 100% the best Korean chicken I had! I already ordered 2 times in a week because it's that good. Their sweet and spicy, and soy garlic are my personal favorite. The chicken was a bomb !! The chicken was crunchy , sweet and spicy at the same time . Took one star out for the service . The cashier was very irritated and seems to be very tired and wants to be anywhere but there . Told her that this is my first time what she recommended and she won't let me finish my question and cut me short and rattled out some numbers . I eventually understand she was referring to the number corresponding to the menu above me. We asked for whole crispy chicken to go and got what looked like leftover pieces. Both the drumsticks and thighs appear to be missing. Either that or this was a very small chicken. Food was overpriced. $20 for 10 piece of wings. I can get something that's even better quality at Running Chicks for half the price with the same amount of food. We had the sauce on the side, that's why it shows the wings look all dried. I give the 2 stars only for the freshness of it. Amazing. 10/10 every time. Inside a super market but don't let that deter you. The only reason I regret my order is because my boyfriend's order is even better. Half chicken is a solid meal for one or a light meal for two. We had garlic green onion and soy garlic! Slurp* Mac salad and potato salad are great and even though you get a couple fries in your order, get an extra side because they smack. The cucumber salad is cucumber salad. I don't normally post reviews, but this visit was so disappointing to both my my Wife and I. First time we had it, we were surprised at the size of the chicken wings. We split a 20pc wing that wouldn't allow the box to close and we thought it was amazing compared to other "wing" places. The freshness and crispy ness and size were almost unmatched. This second time around was VERY disappointing. It was literally half the size of the previous and all 20 Wings fit in the box with more room. It's a small chain I believe, but the varying quality of size is disappointing. I understand there are supply chain issues, but it was just so disappointing when I was expecting one thing and got something else I like this place and will give it another go, but I will definitely ask if the wings are bigger this time around or have they shifted to smaller wings. read more

I ordered a half and half combo which included half chicken (5 pieces) and 10 wings. It comes with pickled radish, jalapenos, and sauce either on the side or mixed with the chicken. I had the wings mixed with soy-garlic and I left the half chicken naked with lemon-garlic sauce on the side and an extra lemon-garlic. I also ordered a side of onion rings. My family really enjoyed the chicken, wings, potato wedges and onion rings. The sauce is really tasty. The soy-garlic was just the right amount and the wings remained crispy. The OG Furai chicken was delicious and crispy. Its fun dipping it in the lemon-garlic. I'm used to having lemon-garlic as a seasoning rather than a sauce, so that was a new thing for me. The onion rings were nice and big, along with smaller slices. Very flavorful. The shop is located in a Korean supermarket. The cashier was friendly and attentive and the take out meals are placed with the top somewhat open to keep the chicken crunchy which is very much appreciated. Even though I live a short distance away (near DB High), steam is the enemy of fried foods. The only small issue I had was with the ranch dipping sauce. It was kind of watery, diluted, so it didn't stick well to the onion rings. But other than that, the meal was excellent. I would definitely recommend and will be a customer again. read more

Fried chicken here was the best with or without their sauces. Today the batter has changed and it's awful. Not juicy, just a waste of money. I ordered the whole chicken via Yelp and it's more expensive. The main thing I care about is the batter and taste which both have changed to unacceptable. Used oil leaving an bad taste in my mouth. So sad they're either cutting corners or just changed owners. Guess I'll be searching for a new fried chicken place. read more

Had to dock a couple starts because their portions have decreased significantly and prices have gone up. Can't really be too hard on them with inflation and all but just a bit disappointing as a customer to pay $30+ for chicken and receive enough portion to feed about 1.5 people (with normal appetites). read more

Thank you for opening in Diamond Bar! Didn't even know they opened a location and was pleasantly surprised to see their sign while grocery shopping. I love fried chicken and am always on the hunt for good chicken. As a chicken hunter, I can say you won't regret trying this place. My go-to order is the old school Korean chicken and rice cake skewers. You get a choice of 2 sauces, picked radish, and pickled jalapenos. My favorite sauce is lemon garlic but all of them are tasty. Only downside is that there's no good seating area so it's pretty much take-out only. They do have tables and seats with a TV but I wouldn't feel comfortable dining in such a small space inside a grocery store. read more

It is conveniently located inside the market, so I already tried their chicken twice already while doing weekly grocery shopping. I must say that this new place is really good. It is definitely step above B.B.Q. chicken and also better than Love Letter chicken. Chicken is so fresh and taste really good. I tried both original and light crispy. I like original more but my gf likes light crispy. Both are good so it just depends on your preference. Their side sauce is also very flavorful and goes well with their chicken. Beside chicken, they will also offer other Korean dish starting May. I cannot wait to try those out! read more
